Large room with kitchen and all facilities, tea and coffee and milk, microwave oven etc. Comfortable bed, very clean throughout, large walk in shower with on the wall soap/shampoo, toilet rolls supplied. Large TV. Great restaurant and bar linked to hotel.

Check in bit chaotic, arrived early but no one answered phone to let me in, after a while someone came down and was very helpful. On your first visit its not very clear where the entrance is and where you are supposed to park, your supposed to pay for parking? Machine was not working so I didn't and no one seemed fussed about it. My room (110) was way to hot, even with radiators off! I had to put the fan on (in November!?) and windows open. Security guard needs to close the main gates a bit more quietly, at 2.30am scraping the gates shut right outside my window, but at least the cars are safe LOL. Check out also very strange, no one about, doors auto lock at 10am but nowhere to leave the keys?

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Potbank, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly polite, helpful, and accommodating, making me feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout my stay. Their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond truly stood out. The hotel itself was spotless, with cleanliness clearly being a top priority. Every corner of the establishment, from the lobby to the rooms, was impeccably maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Overall, Potbank is a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended!

Be mindful that there is alot other stairs to climb if you are not on the first floor. This is the only thing l can see that would put people off. the Direct surroundings was great, but then again you are central so plenty places to go and close to.

The room was clean and tidy and well located with good access to the local area. The restaurant and bar was a great experience. The price was good value for a basic room.

It was noisy in the early morning from delivery trucks and cleaners. In the room there was no table or luggage stand or dressing table area. Only 1 chair in the room for 2 people. There was no one from the main hotel to check us in, we had to find someone from the restaurant to help us as the hotel staff where unavailable even though we arrived within the designated time. No one to check us out either. Reception area was unmanned the whole time we visited.

From the welcome we received from Izzy, to the eclectic style.ofnthe lobby/bar/restaurant, we couldn't wait to see our room. We were not disappointed at all, having the opportunity to use a fridge, and prepare a few meals on our own made us feel like we were at home. The location was fantastic, the linen, bedding and towels were clean and fluffy, the only criticism if I can call.it that would be to have a few extra things in the kitchen, like tongs, egg flip, toaster and maybe complimentary salt and.pepper.. Would definitely recommend this accommodation *

What an amazing place! It is definitely selling itself short and needs to update its listing. I loved the complex as a whole. The rooms were clean and modern, equipped with everything you need. The price was exceptional value for money. There was parking on site and a lift, which isn't listed in the facilities and the security was great too.

It was a little noisy, I had been driving a lot and had an elderly mother with me so was tired. The courtyard next to our room was used as the smoking area for the show/partyroom. So u til it closed, there was a lot of talking and shouting. It was all quiet for midnight though so you can't complain at that.

We loved how easy it was to check in, unpack and meet relatives in the restaurant underneath.

I agree that there were ample beds the parents ended up sleeping in the single beds... that is not your fault though. My husband complained that the single bed he had (centre, between rooms) was uncomfortable, not supportive and springy. The room had a strange layout but I guess that is to be expected with a converted Pot Bank (I really should do my research before booking!). It was a lovely conversion, although the price was a little steep for a one night stay.

Very comfortable bed and apartment. Lovely armchair but the sofa bench was very narrow. The room was spotless, spacious and the shower was great. You could control the heating, open windows and the wifi worked well. As for the location, it was perfect - had a great visit into the Spode visitors centre next door and three mins from the Hippy Cafe, London Road and ten mins from Staffordshire Uni. All questions were answered promptly and it was a relaxing - and quiet - place to stay.

I would have liked to have been able to leave my bag there for a few hours after checkout - especially since checkout is so early (10am).

Lovely welcoming staff. The room itself has got all you need for a short stay. Comfy bed. Quiet enough. Super clean. Parking outside. Otherwise bus access to everywhere and of course short walk to SOT train station. Couldn’t have been handier for a couple of days. Didn’t eat downstairs so can’t comment but it’s always full!

Just slight niggles. Loose tiles in the bathroom. Shower dial super difficult to regulate the water temp. Better cutlery?! Hand rail fell off at one side. Just need some TLC from a handy man.

The bed felt hard but it turned out to be comfy, the microwave was good, 2 TVs, had a fan, very spacious, and the staff seemed very happy and welcoming

Room 205 the shower had 2 settings, very hot or scolding hot lol so I had to put the shower on very hot, slow spray and held away from me which was annoying, the room was way too warm and I kept waking up for a drink, but better than being cold, my partner tho, wasn't too hot in the room, also the TV in the bedroom has sound volume 1 low and sound volume 2 too loud which was weird, the 2nd TV was cool tho

I did not realise that the property was part of the previous Spode factory. The room was large with a possible three person occupancy. Facilities good if you wanted to self cater- there was a large Sainsburys about 10 minutes away for provisions. See comments about on site restaurant below. If you are interested in Spode and pottery in general there is also an onsite museum with shop.

It was not well sign posted. The restaurant downstairs said they had no tables available - I was on my own so I would expect that to be an easy ask - I could only get food from them via a delivery app!? I did have a really nice breakfast the following morning. Although the accommodation was self catering it would be useful if property had an arrangement wit the on site restaurant. Bit of advice if coming from the station - turn right not left as the booking finder makes the walk much longer.
