Free car parking on site. Comfy beds. Complimentary milk, coffee, tea, biscuits. Stylish decor in communal areas and close to the shopping/cafe areas and the beach front in Swanage.

No breakfast available. The Limes felt a bit 'corporate' to me. Nobody on site when we arrived to greet us, answer any questions face to face. I had to ask a fellow guest, who I 'happened' to run into, where the car park was and how to access it. A text was sent to inform me how to collect my room key from a coded box. It's probably a personal thing, but I prefer a more homely B&B.

Host was very accommodating. Lovely breakfast. Great location, although walk back up the hill quite steep.

It was really nicely decorated to feel welcoming and calm. The view from the conservatory was beautiful. It was not far from the town shops and restaurants etc but very peaceful. It was also close to open green space. It was also quiet inside and the self check in/ check out worked well and it was good to have facilities to make hot drinks in the room, so it felt very un-bothered but with a good system for getting new supplies or assistance when needed. Parking at the property was also very useful. It was an ideal place to stay to explore local nature reserves and exceptional countryside.

The bathroom was rather cold, but the bedroom was rather hot. I found the duvet very hot (I would have been glad of it in about a month) but it would be nice to have a top sheet for a cooler alternative.

Excellent breakfast pre ordered night before and everything set up on the table when we came down, room had everything you needed and it was easy to replenish the biscuits, tea etc from the bar also the supply of fresh milk was a nice touch. the parking on site was good. The price including breakfast was very reasonable.

would have liked some tissues in the room and carrying stuff up and down the stairs to the 3rd floor deach day was hard, but that is only because Phil is a musician and carries a trolley round with instruments which cannot be left in the car and these were needed each day as we were there for the folk festival

We had 2 very spacious rooms ie the bedroom and the bathroom. Had all the facilities you need and the bed was so comfortable.

I liked everything about the property but if I had to dislike something it could be that room 14 where we stayed was the first room after the main door so you could hear everyone coming and going. It also had double doors that opened onto the conservatory so you felt that you needed to close the curtains for privacy!

The room and views were lovely. All the extras had been thought about eg hairdryer, luggage rack, fan etc

It was on a steep hill and the roads narrow to get to the carpark. Not all drivers would feel confident. But there was alternative parking on the road outside the front of the hotel which was more accessible. The stair treads were quite narrow - a watchout for stability when arriving/ departing with heavy bags. Neither of above are the fault of the hotel - just a heads up for future travellers.

It was close to the centre of Swanage and the hotel was lovely very comfortable and lovely decor. Sarah was very helpful and got me out of a difficult booking misunderstanding on my part 5 star!

Steep walk up to the hotel from main street and parking is difficult in peak season having said that always managed to squeeze into car park well managed by staff. No parking on street.

The room was clean and spacious with large windows. The decor in the room and throughout the building was very fresh and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice. Everything was very well organised. Sarah, one of the owners, was very friendly and helpful. We had a sea view from our side window.

The car park looked a little cramped but we easily found free parking in the street outside. As in the details, the road up to the hotel is quite steep for walking. However, the location was close to the centre and very convenient. Only one bedside light.

The view from our room was really nice, and loved being able to open door to balcony.

Didn’t love Swanage. Maybe it was the time of year or that it was raining, but we had a difficult time finding a place to eat and much of the town seemed closed. Distance from hotel wasn’t bad, very walkable. Parking was quite small, but we were able to find a place.

Although situated on a steep hill the property was centrally located, very clean and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a personal welcome instead of self check in and out, although this was very easy. Parking was extremely difficult, no spaces at the property. We had to park a long way from the property, maybe this was due to Carnival week making everywhere very busy.
