Nice clean friendly owner but they need to change the review about breakfast because people think they mean full English but it's just toast and cereals.

When we checked in we had help carrying our bags up to the room and shown where everything was. Lovely large bed, the room was warm, hot shower (shower over bath) overall very comfortable Breakfast was self service from a kitchen next to the 2 bedrooms. it had everything we needed - kettle, toaster, microwave. There was a selection of cereals, bread, croisant, orange or apple juice, apples and bananas, butter and jams and milk knowing this we brought a few other bits but there are 2 shops in the village so could supplement if needed We were on a cookery course during the day so had a good lunch, so it was great to have the kitchen in the evening and we could just prepare a simple salad. We enjoyed a drink in the pub in the evening, we didn't eat there but the food looked very nice I know from past reviews this set up doesn't suit everyone but was great for us!

Landlady was really helpful and really friendly. The thermostat in the shower stopped working but she was able to get someone to have a look at it in the evening and get it fixed the next day and even offered to let me use her shower!! Room was quite big, clean and bed was comfy. There were ever a couple chairs and cushions for some chilled reading sessions. Kitchen was fairly stocked and the bathroom was lush 😍

The rooms are above the pub and people often smoked underneath the bedrooms which came into the bedrooms

Really lovely clean rooms and the pub was also lovely. We had a very nice meal and bottle of red on the first night. The wine glasses were really good quality and sparkling clean which always indicates a good pub! Jim and Frank served us and were very helpful and friendly.

The only surprise was that the breakfast wasn't a cooked option in the pub as we had thought it would be. There was a breakfast menu online which led us to believe this would be the options but the breakfast is self service, toast and cereal in the kitchen next to the rooms. In reality this was fine and very adequate but it was just a bit disappointing at first as we had thought it was the menu options within the pub but apparently the pub doesn't open until 12 and so doesn't serve breakfast. One more thing that would have enhanced our stay would have been a long full length mirror in the rooms

Nice location around 3 miles from Bath park and ride. Nice friendly pub comfortable accomodation. Breakfast room was well stocked and items replaced when we mentioned some items (butter / spread ) had run out. Pub staff were very competent and friendly and had a good choice of meals on the menu (although kitchen was closed temporarily on our first night)

Was a little isolated if you wanted a taxi to go out for the evening. Pub meal was a little expensive and nothing special steak a little over seasoned although this is just personal preferences. However room does have access in the shared kitchen to a microwave if you wanted to cook your own meal.

What a great find! Perfect location for our needs and onward journey. The staff were super helpful and so easy attached to the pub with a lovely meal there too. The room was so comfortable with a well stocked kitchen along corridor to help ourselves to breakfast. So convenient with two small supermarkets just along the road

There are two guest rooms with a separate entrance from the pub. One flight of stairs. There is a shared kitchen for the two bedrooms which was well stocked to help yourself to tea or coffee and breakfast. There was a small dining table in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and lovely soft pillows.

There was only one bedside light. I'm sure staff would have provided another if requested, but we didn't realise this until quite late.

The location was lovely and ideal for going into bath city centre, it was a lovely village pub location.

Firstly, we got to the accommodation around 230 check in was 3pm so we were expecting to wait til 3 if it wasn’t ready however we were greeted by a lady and said check in isn’t till 4pm she was adamant it was 4pm, she then checked and we were right (check in is 3pm). We didn’t get told what the procedure was for breakfast we knew it was continental breakfast, which was fine for us both but we didn’t know where to go for it until we headed to our room and noticed a little kitchenette to use, however it wasn’t stocked up with sufficient supplies. No bread or orange juice on day 2, we had to ask for more supplies, they then left 2 crossiants that looked like they had been defrosted! Not good value for money!

Very nice spacious and clean rooms. Easy to find, good car park. Helpful staff

breakfast was a bit limited - do it yourself toast and cereal. Not a problem for us as we were going into town for lunch but if you were travelling any distance it wouldn't set you up for the journey

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and happy to help with anything.

If I had to put anything it would be that theTV needs moving off the side wall. potentially put it on the bathroom wall facing the bed. The curtains need putting up in the hallway outside the rooms.
