Room nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Good food. Lovely and quiet if u want quiet 😊
The shower head kept falling down. Breakfast I had a small jug of milk which I thought was for my cuppa tea but he said it's also for my cereal which only just covered it so I asked for some more he got me some but said that should be plenty which just done some but couldn't have anymore tea as it wasn't enough. Also my partner was still eating his breakfast he just took the plates away while still eating. We went out for the day to come back to our room tidy, I didn't like it as I didn't ask for staff to go in my room to do so which also I was not happy with.

Beautiful English Inn. Step back to 1081 and experience the cosy charm and hospitality of this lovely cottage. Exposed beams, leadlight windows Very clean and comfortable room. English breakfast and dinners were delicious. Owners and staff are very friendly, kind and hospitable. We felt like part of the family. Dogs are allowed in bar/dining areas. They were so well behaved. Highly recommend for a very relaxing stay.
Not a dislike, just a comment. Road into Inn is quite narrow but there are side stops to enter if traffic coming other way.

I chose The Cridford Inn to experience a bit of old-style English Inn culture and my expectations were quite high. They were not only met but clearly exceeded. A very quaint and lovely inn. It melded modern amenities perfectly into the old building (mind your head at some places, people were smaller back then). All was clean, the staff very friendly and the food tasted deliciously. The Cridford Inn is situated deep in the countryside offering nice walks. I'd definitely like to stay there again.
There is nothing to complain about. Just be aware that as it is deep in the countryside, the roads are quite narrow.

We stayed two nights. The pub was very close to the Great Barn wedding venue where we were attending our nephew's wedding.. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location. The rooms were comfortable with a comfy bed and were very clean. The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked to order. Nice pub meal in the evening. Ovrrall good value, and I can recommend the Cridford Inn.
We arrived from the east from the A38 on very narrow roads. It is much better to arrive from the west where the roads are better.

Lovely place to stay. Great location for what we needed. Felt very welcome from the start and throughout our stay. The lodge seems to have been recently done out and warm and cosy. Food in the pub was great!
There wasn't anything we didn't like but a few bits that could be slightly better: WiFi in the lodge especially when the pub is busy. Weren't able to connect to plan our next day or to watch the TV as the TV was apps only such as BBC inplayer. (Not a huge problem when you are there to enjoy the outside! :) The shower could be a bit more powerful but plenty good enough. We could have done with a chopping board in the kitchen but I'm sure if we had really needed one they would have found one for us.

Our hosts - the whole family - were kindness itself. We and our dog were warmly welcomed and everything that could be done to optimise our stay was done cheerfully and willingly. Nothing was too much trouble. The Inn was lovely and so was the village and the setting. The food was good (two evening meals and two breakfasts) - and it was a relief to find a place where we could eat on both Sunday and Monday nights. The beer and cider were good too. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were details of local walks in our room, as well as a kettle, biscuits, TV, wifi etc. Certainly a place we are keen to return to.
In an ideal world, the floorboards in our bedroom and bathroom would have creaked less loudly, so that one person getting up didn't disturb the other, but in such an ancient building it was neither a surprise nor a problem.

This place is beautiful, full of charm and atmosphere! Staff were lovely, all very friendly and welcoming. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was huge and also very clean. Breakfast was very good.
There was only one tiny window in the room and the floor creaked so loudly wherever you walked! I was worried about disturbing other people. Evening meal portions were a little sparse but the quality was good. I don’t like fish or mushrooms though and everything had one of the other in it!

We loved staying at a place with such history and character. The Inn also provided excellent accommodation - the room in which we stayed was spacious and clean and the king sized bed so comfortable; lots of choice in terms of the food and drinks and meals delicious; all the staff most welcoming and helpful.
All routes to the village of Trusham means travelling along some single track road - about a mile in our case. It didn’t deter us but needs bearing in mind if it’s an issue for anyone.

We had a very nice stay in the Inn. The staff were very friendly and we had a good time in both the bar and restaurant with them. The Inn is in a secluded village but not too far from Dartmoor and the main road to further afield. The room was clean and as we took our ageing dog was good for her too . Food in the restaurant was good and the range of beers was excellent too. Breakfast was very good and saw us through the day
Nothing to note

Magical venue in the Devon countryside. Traditional decor and welcoming staff. Bedroom were completely new and refurbished in a traditional style. There is a beautiful pub downstairs with a cosy indoor and wonderful outdoor sitting. We enjoyed refreshments in the sun surrounded by climbing roses. Breakfast was served in a large room with stained glass windows. The surroundings are very peaceful and atmospheric with several thatched roof buildings nearby. There is also a nice walking trail starting in the hamlet.
