We liked the simplicity of the arrangement, that the owner had the confidence not to over-supply with stacks of tourist pamphlets or complementary items. It added to the feeling of space, lightness and relaxation. I had had to win my husband over to the idea of 2 nights in Wooler and he was very impressed and pleased. We were very quick off the mark to book evening meals at the Milan, which we really appreciated as that added significantly to our treat. We both noted with genuine delight that we were obliged to go out for meals (no kettle & instant drinks supplied), sandwiches for our hikes etc. The places we found were of varying quality but we noticed that locals were also eating there, that they hadn't been priced out of catering establishments by pesky tourists like us. We felt a real gift for business and people (ie not just the paying guests) lay behind the arrangement. I wanted to congratulate the owner but only got to thank the cleaners. They nodded in agreement as I talked, obviously glad & proud that they were involved in a a good concern.

There is a slightly defective blind over a skylight that let in light a bit early for me.

A good-sized comfortable room, clean and modern. The Milan restaurant for dinner was good next door.

Would have liked the offer of breakfast. We wanted something around 8 am, but initially couldn't find anything open despite a laminated piece of paper in the room saying there were various (unspecified) options. The street was dead at that hour. The Perfect Shot came good and provided a good breakfast, but it would have been good to know this was the only option before 9am. It has no inside space. We wanted breakfast at 8 am because we had been woken up by a lorry/ bus just the other side of the wall in the car park which sat with its engine running for ages - quite annoying and it felt like it could be something which happens regularly . Staff on site would have been better - an impersonal email is not great.

Near to the area we were visiting, lovely little market town. Amazing Italian restaurant called 'Milan' and our suite (Duke) was more than comfortable for us for 1night.

Due to the location of the 'Noble Lands' accommodation being between 2 old tall buildings, it's obviously necessary from a health & safety point of view to have the covered portion of the alley lit. Whilst nice to see where you're going/keys in doors etc, it was extremely bright in the room and also quite noisy when people passed the very large window. Wouldn't necessarily put us off booking again but may cause light sleepers an issue. Blackout curtains would help.

My room was very clean and comfortable. I liked that there were also things I didn't expect in my room (King room), such as a mini fridge, plates, cutlery, washing up liquid, etc... these were helpful for when I ordered take out (I ordered from Milan next door which was lovely). Bed was very comfortable to sleep on. The room and place had a very charming feel and as a whole, I thought it was excellent value for money. The local people I met were all very friendly and the location is great too, right on the main high street with some lovely walks nearby. Communication from the host was excellent with good information given. I liked the generous check in / out times too in comparison to other places. Overall, was a really positive experience that I have already booked to return again.

I couldn't fault it at all, the place was lovely.

Wooler is a lovely small quiet town. This is the second time we have stayed at Noble Lands and it still meets our expectations. We stayed in the Duchess room which was lovely, spacious and clean with a great shower, comfy bed, plenty of tea, costa coffee sachets, hot chocolate etc. and tasty biscuits. The room also had a small fridge with a chilled bottle of water and plenty of milk sachets. We had a takeout from the Milan restaurant around 30 seconds walk from the room which was lovely and there is no problem with eating meals in the room as plates, cutlery etc. are provided. Stephanie is very helpful and great with communication. Really enjoyed our 1 night stay. Thanks

Most of the shops in the town only open until 4:00pm.

Got soaked on my motorcycle from 165 miles of non-stop torrential rain. Very miserable when I arrived - cold and very wet. Room was gorgeous with excellent facilities all round. Turned the radiators up to dry my stuff which was bone dry in the morning. Great bed, shower room, tea and coffee facilities and, best for me, was a dressing gown which I needed as my clothes were wet. Plenty of hanging space, great TV. Ideal again as I could park my bike under cover just outside my room, which made security and loading up so much easier. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nothing about the room, but if you stay on a Sunday night there are limited places to eat out. Local chippy was open, but was a bit so-so and pricey. Black Bull pub is very traditional but only a 30 second walk from my room.

Fantastic rooms, excellent location with fabulous facilities. Restaurant Milan with amazing food next door which offers take away into your room. They allow dogs in restaurant Milan but also in this accommodation free of charge which is amazing. We stayed with 2 large weimaraners and it wasn't problem at all as there was plenty of places to walk them and also plenty of space in room for them. Great parking spaces and for free. Parking is next to Milan restaurant on left handside as you walking towards Milan acess to it its from next street where you will be able to see drive like entrance with two black posts. Its was bit tricky for us to find as well. We will 100% recommend this accommodation and we will be coming back again.

Nothing at all.

Situated just off Wooler High Street, Noble Lands provides a perfect base for exploring Wooler, Glendale and further afield. The property has been very well set up with rooms of various sizes. We were in Room 1, on the ground floor, which was ideal as we had our dog, Glen, with us. Although this also meant that our windows opened on to the alleyway between Milan and the High Street, so there was some early morning and late evening noise, but not too much of a disturbance. Bed was softer than we are used to but nonetheless it was comfy. Bathroom was well equipped and the shower was excellent. Our room had a small seating area which meant that on the 3 nights that we didn't eat out we had somewhere to sit and eat our takeaway, rather than just having to sit on the bed. As well as a small refrigerator, the apartments provide a kettle, tea/coffee/biscuits/milk and some crockery and cutlery for drinks/cereal/dinner etc. Stephanie, the owner, kept in daily contact to check if there was anything we needed and Julie, the wonderful cleaner was at the property every day to top up what was reequired and to spoil our dog, Glen!

Minor issue with drips from the bathroom radiator

Very comfortable and well appointed room. Ground floor location and disability friendly bathroom ideal for the mobility impaired. Proximity to Milan Italian restaurant and Wooler high street a bonus.

The toilet cistern leaked throughout our three day stay, causing a puddle in the corner of the bathroom; however, as this caused us no inconvenience, we didn't report it until after we left. The alleyway outside is very noisy at times, with people going to and from the Italian restaurant. The car park can be very difficult to find for first timers.
