Owner Jane was lovely and very helpful. The reasonably-priced suites are more like a small apartment with large, comfy living room and full sized kitchen, etc. Housekeeper does great job. The photos don’t do it justice as far as the nice furnishings in our suite. Quiet area. Be sure to check out Governors Restaurant and Bakery (about a 10-minute drive). It was delicious with amazing desserts.

In the back bedroom there was a full closet but no dresser or spot to lay things except a chair. It was further than we expected from Bangor with country roads, but also cheaper.

The location on the river was great. We had a small balcony with chairs to enjoy the setting, small river view, sound of birds in the trees. Room was comfortable and clean. Host was friendly and helpful, suggesting ideas for activities and restaurants. She was kind enough to bring us bottled water.

Room could have been cooler when we first arrived, but air conditioning brought the temperature to comfortable fairly soon.

Clean and quiet motel in Milford/Old Town Maine. We stopped here overnight on our way from Prince Edward Island to Boston. The beds were comfy, and the rooms have balconies overlooking the river behind the motel. We had dinner and breakfast at the Goversor's restaurant a short drive away, and took a late evening walk to the dam on the river, in what seemed to be a safe neighborhood. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful with suggestions for where to eat. The room had a kitchenette that we didn't use.

Outdated but it adds charm to the place. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, clean kitchen. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite w/balcony overlooking the river. It had a full stove, microwave, full fridge/freezer and quiet neighborhood. Will book again when we come to the area in the future!

Very friendly staff. Clean,spacious room with a beautiful view. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen. It was great not to have to eat out every night of our trip. We'll definitely stay again on our next visit.

I previously stayed here for 3 nights and this time I stayed 2 nights. It was just as I expected and I was very pleased. This is my go to place to stay when I am in the area. The staff is lovely, the view is amazing, and it's extremely convenient to have the kitchen facilities in our room. It's located fairly centrally to all the areas I needed to visit on this. I will certainly be staying here again in the future!

The location was excellent especially to UMaine campus! Staff was friendly! Place was spotless and spacious. Having a kitchen was great!

Kitchen just needed a few items.. scissors, a couple sharp knives, a pasta pot. We ended up buying a few items at goodwill and our son took them to his dorm.

Quiet and easy to find and rest. It was clean and comfortable. Ktichenette had everything for quick meals. I appreciated the real dishes and not plastic.

Every was good. You need a car to get to food but since we had a kitchenette and groceries, we did not need this.

The owners are wonderful, warm and genuine. Simply put, I don’t think I’ve ever met another motel owner like them. In our short 2 night stay I feel like I made friends and I certainly plan on returning again, hopefully soon.

This is a well cared for, incredibly clean, 70’s vintage motel. There’s honestly nothing I didn’t like.

The location was perfect for our visit to the area. The place was quaint, peaceful and we loved the view from the back deck!! Very easy to find and had no problems while there. The owners were very friendly and helpful!! Would go back again!!
