location, pool, hotel was clean, coffee. The location is great as you can walk everywhere in old town. Place is clean. Ice machine is great. Pool is great. Rooms are clean. Parking is secure. You pay $10 for it. They should just fix that into price of room.

They did not have breakfast. Even continental breakfast would have been nice. I don't like to get up and have to go out for breakfast. I had used a search for hotels with breakfast and pools and when we arrived, were told they no longer do breakfast.

The only hotel/motel I ever been to in 30 years of traveling that did not have Fox News and or Fox Business channel on the TV. Obviously the management/owners of this property are supporting the progressive left agenda as the main stream media & all the left indoctrinated cable stations are all that customers can view at this property. I will not be booking any future stays at this property.

Overall, the place was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a really nice part of town.

For the money, it seemed they should offer more amenities. For example, I like to drink tea in the morning and night, but no hot water or ability to make hot water available either in the room or in the lobby. It was disappointing to have get up in the morning and try to find a coffee shop instead of hot water being provided. When I asked the front desk person about hot water, she acted like I was asking for something crazy and said I could use the microwave. Otherwise, everything was great.

This property is in a great location and really enjoyed the short walk to the square. The staff was incredibly welcoming and housekeeping maintained the rooms very well. Rooms appeared to have a recent refresh. The quiet hours we’re enforced (Santa Fe is pretty quiet anyways though). This was the best deal for a hotel within easy walking distance to the plaza.

We had a bit of a Goldilocks situation keeping the room temp and humidity just right. To be fair, we weee there during an excessive heat warning, but the bathroom does not have a fan to ventilate the shower steam. Because the bathroom window is still the old aluminum frame and probably not sealed well, we had to contend with gnats and small flies that made it through the cracks or maybe even the screen. Not an infestation, but not what you want in your bath.

I chose El Sendero because of the location and it was perfect for where I needed to be. A good nights sleep is essential and that’s exactly what I got. Clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. Keurig coffee maker an added plus. The young man at the front desk was welcoming, helpful and friendly…appreciated his restaurant recommendation! Great stay.

There wasn’t much not to like, just some wishes that may help future visitors: some natural yogurt alongside the flavored ones, a larger variety of fruits (grapes and bananas) and I could have used a shower cap but the ice bucket bag did the trick.

The hotel was 3 blocks from The Plaza and within walking distance of most everywhere we wanted to go to. Our vehicle stayed parked the whole time. The hotel is older, so the room/closet-dressing area was spacious. You can tell at some recent point it has been completely remodeled. It really fit in with the area and it felt like I was staying in SANTA FE. The bed was super comfortable, and staff was accommodating to the few things we asked them about/needed.

The ice machine is located in the office which is quite a ways from the rooms but that's just how it was built back in the day. I had to really think to come up with this one thing I didn't like... and we all need the exercise!

Room had everything needed-very clean and bed comfy! Check in was a pleasure-very courteous and friendly. Helpful and professional") We had a car issue and were looking at in when checked in and Juan came over to assist-what a gem he is for you all!! Very very thoughtful and went above and beyond in trying to help us!!! You don't see that often any more so high kudos to him and his staff! Keep up the great work! Paving was going on while we were there but was never an issue for parking or noise. Will definitely be making it our go to when coming to Santa Fe:) Thank you again Juan!!!

El Sendero was very nice. The room was well thought out. We especially liked having a bathroom window to get fresh air and light. Bed was comfy and the fridge and coffee were helpful. We walked from the hotel to the plaza, river, restaurant, and canyon road. Pool was clean and pleasant.

It was expensive for us and housekeeping was not done every day. It would have been nice if staff could have replenished coffee and towels daily. I wished there had been 2 places to put luggage and 2 chairs, but this lack seems common.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we were enjoying our stay. We loved the ambience and vintage feel El Sendero while still having an updated feel in the rooms. The bed was comfy and the amenities in the room were nice quality. Also loved the proximity to Santa Fe's old square, historic buildings and restaurants... easy walking distance.

Literally the only thing I can say to the negative is that we were given a room adjacent to some stairs that lead to the 2nd floor. As late arrivers were making their way up the stairs, many of them were dragging their suitcases and they clunked on every stair all the way up to the 2nd floor. It was surprisingly loud in our room and woke us up a few times through the night.
