The hotel has an excellent location close to the Railyard and also offers a free shuttle bus to downtown Santa Fe. It is tastefully decorated, and the fireplace close to the reception area gives off a particularly cozy vibe. Our room was quiet, with a comfortable bed and an updated bathroom. Hotel staff is friendly, and the hotel offers free coffee and tea on every floor in the morning.

It would be great if there were a possibility to choose a room option with breakfast included. The wellness area (outdoor pool and hot tub) was functional but quite limited, and the room furniture is a bit dated.

The Amaya restaurant was really good; as was the happy hour drinks and food! We ate there 4 times for Breakfast and Supper. The atmosphere in bar/dining area was very relaxed and low key. We enjoyed the ambience and music after busy day! The British cab and bus shuttle, as well as the drivers, were wonderful additions to getting to places nearby! We needed some medicine and the driver got my husband to drug store and went in with him to help find what he needed.

The room furniture is outdated and room is not well lit. We paid for a Santa Fe King Suite and I'm not sure we got it as it was supposed to be bigger than Picuris King Suite. Again not sure but living area and bedroom were quite small. The bedroom reminded me of size of hotel rooms in Europe; about 18" between bed and wall. My understanding was there was to be a balcony on upper floors. We did not have one on 2nd floor just a window looking out on the roof. After changing suites once, we just didn't want the hassle of another change. It is dog friendly which is not my thing. Most people's dogs were huge and behaved but there was one dog who owner didn't control well and it leapt up on waiter passing by and licked the plate. Yuk!!!

It was a lovely hotel and had a very authentic, adobe feel. It snowed while we were there and we did not expect snow at all, nevermind in November. They were kind enough to give us an ice scraper for our car. We loved being able to hang out on the balcony and have a separate living room for our use. Absolutely loved that they have a complimentary coffee and tea bar on every floor. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the food looked really good and the atmosphere was very nice. The hotel was the perfect place to cozy up for a couple of nights during a snowstorm! Since you asked for things we didn't like, there were just a couple of tiny suggestions for improvement: We arrived late on the first night and it a cold outside. We had to ring the doorbell a few times to finally be let in. We wished the guy plowing the parking lot could have helped us broom the foot and a half of snow off of our rental car - and we would have happily paid him. Most of us visiting had rental cars and were not equipped to deal with snow.

Everything was fabulous!

It truly is a beautiful hotel in Adobe style decorated with art and amazing statues. We were lucky to be there with the Christmas decorations. The rooms are clean, the beds were very good like sleeping on a cloud and a good shower. Breakfast is with table serving and not included in the price, but it was delicious and freshly prepared what tastes better to me than the buffet style. The staff was polite, correct and respectful but with no room for chit-chat like us tourists often want to do. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to the old town, but it is within walking distance too.

No complaints

Beautiful hotel with some Indian artifacts / decoration, very tasteful. Also lovely decoration for the December holidays, inside ad outside. Lovely staff. I love the fact that it is owned / managed by native Americans. We were lucky to see the end of an Indian flute concert in the lobby area on arrival. Breakfast had a lot of choices in a nice room open to the outside and a burning fire (we visited in December). The shuttle was great, very useful as parking is limited in town. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and quiet.

Our stay was too short ! We'll have to come back : )

It was so nice to have a complimentary happy hour and continental breakfast- delicious, fresh fruit and a perfectly warm Italian-style cornetto (like a croissant but richer and sweeter). I loved the abundant art in the hotel and the calming music in the lobby. I also enjoyed being able to walk to Sage Bakehouse, Photo’s Coffee Roasters, and the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market. The staff were incredibly welcoming. I initially worried about the cost of my stay, but realized that all of these things made the pricetag of my stay worth it.

Some of the amenities are dated- I had forgotten my phone charging adapter and couldn’t just plug the cord into a USB port, which most hotels have these days. I also didn’t bring cash to tip the butlers or maids, so I ended up checking out and asking the front desk to charge my cc and set aside tips for them. I didn’t think the bed was as comfortable as it could have been. The room was nice; I know people have different preferences when it comes to what makes a bed comfortable.

The property is quite beautiful. We arrived early and our room was ready. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful with a bit of a snafu with our Booking.com payment. It was resolved quickly. The room was perfect for the one night we spent there. Plenty of lighting and a view to the courtyard. There was a small bar to order a drink and take outside to the pretty patio which was playing native American music. Very peaceful. The hotel is off the square which we didn't mind. Plenty of parking spaces available too. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had plenty of nice toiletries and a great shower. We really enjoyed our one night and would definitely return to this hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Hotel Santa Fe is a beautiful hotel. It is typical Santa Fean in decor. We received an incredible price through Booking.com and had never stayed in this hotel before but had eaten in their restaurant twice in the past.

Check-in was a bit of a fiasco and the reservation clerk was not very friendly, nor did she apologize for her mistake. She called up the wrong name on the reservation and was trying to charge us 3x what we had already paid for through Booking.com. Her supervisor ended up coming to the rescue. He was very professional but damage was done and I think the check-in staff should be the face of the hotel and set the mood.

This hotel is gorgeous. It’s full of lovely unique details like a carved wood headboard, beautiful warm lighting, thoughtful toiletries, postcards on the nightstand, even these fun little flexi reading lights by the bed. They’re super dog friendly, even providing a little packet and biscuits at check in. The lobby is beautifully atmospheric. I had a lovely time eating on the restaurant patio with a great margarita and good food (they brought my dog a water bowl, too). The pool is crystal clear, the pool area lush and relaxing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. I wish I had more time to spend here!

No coffeemaker in the room, but since they set up coffee stations on every floor it wasn’t a problem.

Our Stay "ROI" Top Value in Every Way! We used the shuttle for two restaurant dinner reservations, one to Market Steer and one to Cafe SantaFe. Both shuttle drivers were friendly and prompt for our hotel pick-ups and returns. We also loved the convenience of having the coffee/tea bar available on our floor. Especially, good selection of teas. Also, we didn't have to get completely dressed to go down to the lobby to get our morning drinks.

Given us a bottle of champagne upon our arrival! Just kidding.
