A fabulous location… close walking distance to everything eg museums, historic plaza etc. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Spent time giving suggestions and answering questions etc. Having a shuttle service was a bonus. Breakfast was very nice and sufficient.

EVERYTHING! Staff was terrific, gourmet breakfast every morning included, courtesy van service throughout the day and evening no charge, Joe the owner even socialized with guests. Housekeeping was the best I’ve experienced in years with daily refreshing of the room from top to bottom, always a change of linens, bath products, etc. The staff was awesome, from front desk, wait staff, van drivers, housekeeping. Rooms were very comfortable, nice beds and line, well appointed. Even the dresser drawers were large enough to lay your neatly folded clothes in them without having to fold them in half again like all hotel rooms of commercial name hotels.

The room was spacious, pleasantly decorated, very quiet, and clean. The hot tub was great, although it was closed one of the days we were there. Loved sitting by the fire in the lobby area. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good breakfast, with a wide variety of options. The location is excellent - basically around the corner from the Canyon Road art galleries, and a 10-15 minute walk to most things in Santa Fe.

The mattress was a little too firm for me, and they could have provided warmer blankets - highs were in the 30s while we were there. The hot foods at breakfast were too salty.

The Inn on Alameda in Santa Fe is such a wonderful place to stay! It’s in the perfect spot, just a short walk from Canyon Road and the downtown plaza, so exploring the city is super easy. The rooms are cozy, beautifully decorated with Southwestern style, and always clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. The free breakfast is delicious, with fresh, local food that’s a great way to start the day. The peaceful courtyard is a lovely bonus for relaxing. It’s a fantastic place to stay if you’re visiting Santa Fe!

The only thing I could say that would improve the Inn would be to put a mini fridge and microwave in the rooms. They do have a microwave available in the lobby that we used, but it just wasn’t as convenient as one in the room.

Breakfast greeter is awesome in making everyone feel welcomed and special. She is a real credit to the hotel. Breakfast excellent--eggs fluffy, turkey sausage, great potatoes and pinto beans. Shuttle available to take you to restaurant or shop and will pick you up. Free newspaper. Slept great- very comfortable bed without too heavy of a cover. Location around the corner from the Canyon and close to downtown. This is the place to stay.

Would be better in another month with all the flowers coming out. Owner takes special care to have a beautiful garden. Oh well, just have to come back.

The staff was amazing! No need was ever to small or even large. Always had what was needed from calling their free ride service to pick up or drop off so no need to drive; as well as a piece of paper or a wine opener! Was within walking distance of the main square.

The room seemed a bit overpriced for what we had. Thought we had paid for a nicer room. However to be fair they had some situations that are not normal while we were there. Had been out of their hands for 29 days. Was resolved when we were there. It was wonderful to see the actual owner on site talking with guests and his staff. probably why the place is normally running smooth.

This boutique hotel is a gem! Our room was beautiful, very clean, and quiet. The entire property, with several detached low-rise buildings, is surrounded by lots of flowers, trees, and plants. It feels secluded but it's a few blocks away from the heart of downtown Santa Fe. The environment is very cozy and warm. It has a great breakfast and wonderful staff that was constantly offering help and being very attentive. The restaurant (Joe's Tequila Bar) has a cozy courtyard, a great menu, and delicious drinks including tequila testing. We look forward to staying at Inn of the Alameda again!

Absolutely nothing.

Everything. The bed was especially dreamy and I hated leaving it early when we checked out. I'm still thinking about it! There are two "secret" roof top terraces (ask the front desk staff about them) and the tequila bar is a happening place (highly recommend the house margarita). An easy 10 minute walk to the Plaza but they also offer a complementary shuttle.

Leaving. The room and especially the bed were comfortable. I booked the room for a final good night's sleep before we drove across country back to Georgia and wish we had stayed for two or three nights. Next time! Everywhere in Santa Fe is expensive, but worth it. The closer you are to the center of town, the more you'll pay. The Inn on the Alameda is a reasonably affordable option.
