The king kiva room was large and comfy. Bed was comfortable and there were so many pillows you could probably find the one that works for you - unless you like a very firm one, and those were not available. Breakfast was just so-so on the weekdays (W and Th) but on Friday the menu changed and it was excellent! The coffee was good and they have flavored creamer pods, which is unusual. We hadn't anticipated enjoying the Sherry and Biscochitos every day from 4-5 but found that we actually did like them.

Breakfast on weekdays (except Friday) were pretty lame. All items were served on disposable plates with plasticware. The room was comfortable but was a bit on the cold side at night so we had to find the blanket (yes there was only 1) in the closet.

Large, comfortable room, functional HVAC, large bathroom with a tub and decent water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff. Despite their central location in downtown Santa Fe, the property is insulated by its location and design from the mobs of tourists. Self-parking included. Breakfast included, served not buffet. The restaurant has tasty southwestern lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. In short, everything was easy. Would definitely stay there on a future trip to Santa Fe.

The room was nice enough and on a rather charming outdoor veranda. The second night I had a bit of a problem and the manager and staff immediately sorted it and moved me to another room also nice, larger and with more light. Lobby receptions were generous in a historic kind of hacienda environment and liberal sherry and cookies, and chance to talk to other guests. Some workers had been there 30 and 40 years so that is a sign that it is a good place as well.

This is the same thing I say in all my hotel reviews: there is never any information in the room any more. such as a list of nearby shops, restaurants well reviewed and priced, how to find a grocery or convenience store. Downtown Santa Fe is a Disneyland of galleries and gift shops and historic sites which great that's the point but if you have to buy a bandaid or a soda or shampoo or a glue stick (for example) good luck. Of course if you have a car no problem but walkers just know this. Not the fault of the hotel! but inside info would help.

excellent location and friendly staff

food in the dining room was not very good. Dense tepid pancakes and tasty yet tepid sausage. Melon in the fruit cup was rock hard. Turkey wrap, couldn’t finish it and potato salad not so good either. Chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and frozen vegetables was decent. again taped and the vegetables came out of the freezer. Eggs, bacon and toast, eggs were done yet had crisp edges, tough chewy, bacon, and burn toast. However, everybody who worked in there was very nice.

This was a last minute 2-night booking and it was superb. The location was very easy for walking to the Capital complex, Railyard and historic Plaza. The lodging was exemplary from safe parking to its room decor, robes, bedding and towels to the tasty New Mexican cuisine breakfast offerings off a menu to its authentic cozy reception lounge area with wood fireplace, several seating areas and daily site of not to be missed late afternoon Sherry, hot drinks, and tea cookies. Although we did not use the pool, it looked inviting. The grounds were lovely as well as the flower boxes hanging from the railings outside our room.

We could not stay longer as we were headed home.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's within walking distance of almost any of the downtown attractions and restaurants. The made to order breakfast was delicious and piping hot! The coffee was amazing! Service was fantastic. The hotel is well appointed with everything you need. The rooms have fireplaces which was lovely on cold evenings. The rooms have decorative tissue boxes, soap dishes and ice bucket. This gives the room a nice homey feel that the chain hotels don't have. The afternoon Sherry tasting is a nice touch after sight seeing all day. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked here based on a friends recommendation and we’re so happy we did! Check in and check out was super fast and easy, the food for breakfast was just delicious, as was food in your restaurant for dinner. The sherry in the lobby was a nice bonus, along with the filtered water available all the time. The staff was wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The beds are so comfortable, and rooms were just immaculately clean. The hotel location was perfect for our first visit to Santa Fe and we can’t wait to come back!

We had a standard room, which was lovely, but we will definitely book ahead next time and get one of the bigger rooms with a balcony!

The breakfast is great, efficient with attentive wait persons. The sherry/tea and bizcochitos hour every afternoon was wonderful!

The breakfast only has ONE healthy option. I am a vegetarian who does not eat eggs so I only had fruit that was not ripe, oatmeal that was too watery and a croissant every day. Also the fan in our room in the main building was VERY noisy so it was either be cold or hope you could fall asleep at night with a noisy fan. The building is older but the fan problem should be fixed. Also the halls are not heated and they were chilly.

Loved the rooms and bed, as well as the staff and the look of the hotel. The restaurant was delicious, too!

There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, and when we asked the front desk for some, the lady said they didn't have any, just facial soap. Which I thought was kind of weird considering we all went through covid a couple of years ago. We had to buy our own soap to have in our bathroom.

Location Beautifully decorated in traditional Santa Fe style Pool area Filtered water fountain in reception

Bar was very busy in the evenings, largely I felt with non residents and diners seemed to take priority although there was a separate room for dining - meant we couldn’t have a drink in the bar either night of our stay.
