the location was great. As it was the bedroom, but with 4 minor problems. (see below). given price, cleanliness, good service, proximity to the town center and to great restaurants, we will be back.

1) the bathroom is too small. one barely move. 2) the space between the desk and the bed made it difficult ci get in the bed and impossible to use the desk for reading and using the computer. 3) the bedroom windows could not be kept open for natural light: opening the Venetians made us very visible to anybody passing on the sidewalk. 4) beside the breakfast area, thee is no common, social, areas.

I found the breakfast bar to lack fresh options like fruit other than bananas, and Gluten Free bread would have made a nice touch. Adding in a Gluten Free Cereal choice would have been helpful too. The location to downtown was excellent, but if I had know the room was so small I would have tried to opt for something a little bigger given my partner had a back issue

Booking.com additional larger room option which I did not notice when I booked. Maybe I just missed it?

Traditional Southwest vibe, staff was friendly, location close to plaza, breakfast was substantial.

We believed we were getting a queen room with enough space for a desk and chair and reading arm chair. Our room was so small it had no closet armoire 3feet wide maybe. a cabinet large enough to house small square fridge and microwave on top, behind one door, and small 19” screen tv. There was no counter for coffee machine. I would say the room was 15’ x 15’ square included the bathroom facility (also small). The room was nothing like the picture offered for a queen room. It’s got all the charm one would want in a Santa Fe hotel. Walking distance from the square .. it gives you that feeling like you’re in another world. Staff was friendly, morning complementary coffee and burritos were good, beds were just right and the decor was spot on.

They were renovating the main lobby- but this was no big deal and will only make the property better in the future. They’re going to have a lobby bar, which will be charming.

The room was large and quiet, and bed were comfortable.

There was no view. Only a very small window looking out on the property fence. The hotel is apparently remodeling the reception area, although we didn't see any work being done. The signs to reception were confusing. The breakfast was not great. Reheated burritos and omelet. You could make your own waffle, but the batter wasn't that great.

Without being directly on the plaza or within a couple of blocks, it was really quite a good location. Good and tasty choices for breakfast. Good response by staff to the one request we made while staying.

The room seemed humid which made it feel warmer, so had to click the AC down further to compensate. Somewhat bothersome - the AC fan had a rhythmic tapping noise (that increased with fan speed). Slightly better after assumed maintenance attention but still there. Tile grout in the bathroom (floor, not shower) was very dirty - compared to the non-traffic areas under the sink, etc.

I love the single story building with ground floor rooms connected by a long veranda. Great room layout between bed area and dressing area. Great gas kiva fireplace. On site parking. Quiet. Operable windows. Feel safe. Walkable location.

Would like a comfy chair in the room for sitting and reading in addition to the desk chair provided. Be aware that for the next couple months, the lobby is being remodeled and is unavailable.

We enjoyed the front desk staff, especially Amy! Cleaning staff was excellent and prompt! Location was perfect for our trip, would recommend to friends to stay here.

The breakfast needs improvement. Fruit was not great, especially the canned pineapple and for someone who sold pineapples, it was tasteless. No bread for toasting and toasters need to be replaced. Items were not refilled without repeatedly asking for that item. Also ran out of items each morning. If breakfast is served until 9:30 AM, have everything available until that time.

Love the southwest charm of the room especially the kiva fireplace! The room was clean and had adequate space. The staff were friendly and informative. When we checked in, we were given their top picks of New Mexican restaurants. And their recommendations turned out to be the best meals of our trip. They offer a daily complimentary breakfast. Large selection of good breakfast fares including a burrito bar! Will definitely stay there again on our next visit to beautiful historic Santa Fe!

My husband thought the bathrm was a little on the small side.

We had a very nice, comfortable room within walking distance of the Plaza. The burrito bar at breakfast was tasty. We enjoyed the extras that the hotel provides -- afternoon cookies, bottled water for the rooms. The huge walk-in shower was especially nice. The patio areas were a treat in the city setting. In particular, Amy at the front desk was very helpful, including arranging the room type we needed.

The close-in parking was convenient, but it also meant that we sometimes heard cars coming and going outside our 1st floor room.
