Front desk guy was nice when i informed himi had my nephews staying with me unexpectedly. one was graduating from Portland State, and we thought it would be fun to hang out before they headed back to Eugene and i caught my flight to SF in the morning. and he was nice about it. Then, the next morning, what we didn’t like is we waited over a half hour for valet when there was a plane to catch (and instead of having breakfast my nephew had to take me directly to airport as a result) he waived the valet cost. We didn’t complain but it was a bummer hanging out on the sidewalk that long.

Had to skip breakfast with my nephews because valet took sooo long.

Every staff member was super helpful! When my very late arrival got later from delayed planes, they waited and offered drinks and refreshments upon arrival. From mailing postcards, providing restaurant recommendations and travel tips, they were ready to answer it all. Room was clean, comfortable, bathroom was huge and included a tub, and the restaurant attached is consistent and good.

While we needed to switch rooms because connecting door was easy to hear through, they were quick to accommodate us and even gave us free breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience! I found them kind and efficient overall.

The hotel was very nice and room was nicely decorated - modern and clean. The room itself was a bit small but the bathroom was huge. Very dog friendly. My pup loves the toy and treats they provided. Convenient to shopping.

The area surrounding the area is a bit sketchy. Not to the fault of the hotel but I didn't feel comfortable walking around. Smells quite bad once you stepped out of the hotel. Parking was kind of a nightmare. Had to use valet and the loading zone to drop off stuff was so small that we had to fight to get a spot to unload. Our key got scratched and when we told them, they said unless we go through the formal complaint process, nothing can be done.

The reception team were so friendly and welcoming, and the check in process was so simple. Rooms are lovely and clean, we also sampled the gym and the breakfast area and all the facilities are really top-class. The hotel is like an old-world hotel, stately and grand and we loved every minute of our stay - we even stayed an extra night there. They have a valet service as well. There are some great restaurants around this area as well and lots of places to explore.

The location wasn't bad, but it was a bit of a walk to the snazzy downtown district and we weren't too happy about walking around after dark. The homeless situation is very apparent everywhere which is sad.

Hotel was great, room was clean, comfortable and updated. Great water pressure in shower. Good restaurant bar in the hotel.

Woof. Grateful the hotel was so nice. Portland itself is in rough shape. You are two blocks away from the mall/Nordstroms, etc. But what you walk past to get there was eye opening. If you go the wrong direction, you can find yourself in homeless/drug camp pretty quick. Portland was a very walkable city and parts still are, but Uber will be your friend, even for short trips and even in the middle of the day if traveling with young family.

Room was clean and very comfortable with a large bathroom with a bath and dressing gown / robe provided. The staff at reception were really friendly and helpful with local recommendations. When we arrived live music going on in the bar which was lovely. We ate breakfast at the hotel - good albeit a bit greasy.

Would be great to have some instructions regarding parking prior to stay - there is a valet ($55) and you can pull in outside for 10mins to unload car (if space). We opted for cheaper Smart Park down road ($32 for 24hours) which is a short walk.

It was my birthday and the front desk helped me to get an amazing room with a good view! Breakfast was really great, but it was not clear when we booked that we would receive a card to spend $30 max at the breakfast, that was disappointing. Staff team was very nice and helpful!

I think for the price of this hotel it should be obligatory to have a basic cleaning (at least making up the bed) every day, it doesn't make sense that we had to ask for it. That was the only thing that bothered us.

Great central location -- walking distance to many points of interest; nice modern rooms; very clean and tidy. Portland is a fantastic travel destination -- I really enjoyed it. To my pleasant surprise, they let me check in around 1pm -- most places just make you wait until later in the afternoon. It was much appreciated. ...Quite a comfortable stay, all in all.

The mattress was a bit soft for me, but I know many people prefer that - you can't make everyone happy, I know. It wasn't a real problem, anyway.

Very nice clean and comfortable stay. Staff were helpful. Easy asking for services and partner loved complementary expressos in the room. Received dinner credits which were nice but we didn't use them. Also was a nice plus that staff held our bags when we were killing time waiting for our flight for a couple hours. Would reccomend, place is modern and seems up to date.
