Overall a good experience and clean comfortable hotel. This was a one night stay, driving into Austin in a rental car and flying out of the airport the next morning. The location was excellent for this. There is a gas station to top off the rental car around the corner from the hotel, on the service road of Hwy 71 route to the airport, which is only minutes away and a straight shot on hwy 71. The hotel breakfast is pretty much the usual, but was better than many I have had and the coffee better. The location is a short walk to a small Mexican restaurant with a small bar, next to a starbucks coffee shop. The restaurant (Javi's Tex-Mex) was a surprise -- the food was very good, not typical Tex-mex, and the bar prices and drink selection good.

The room cost was a bit pricey. It is probably in line with the going rates these days, but that is the only thing I would ding the hotel for.

The breakfast was fresh fruit, oatmeal, biscuits, eggs and sausage patties, waffles, muffins, and cold cereal. It was hot and tasty. The location was good for our purpose, one night layover in Austin. It was close to the highway and we did hear planes taking off from the airport. There were several restaurants within walking distance.

There was a noise in our room that seemed to go away in the evening, it sounded like a vent fan creaking.

Facilities were certainly adequate but were more particularly designed for people with special physical needs, which removed some of the features that I had anticipated. I would have liked being asked if this kind of accomidation was acceptable or desired. That said, with SXSW taking place over the weekend, I'm sure booking was difficult.

Shuttle from and to the airport was on time.

Didn't have any vending machines, I prefer vending machines rather than buy at the front counter. Breakfast starts too late affecting early morning flying customers, should have an early bird breakfast option for customers flying before 7 AM.

Because my flight was delayed, I wasn’t able to check in until 2 am. Melinda was friendly and upbeat as if it was the start of her shift. Her customer service was superb. There was a nice selection for breakfast.

The man who picked us up at the airport was very nice and talked all the way back to the hotel. He made us feel at ease because we were picked up late at night. He was very knowledgeable about the area as well and gave us some great ideas of things to do in the area. I'm sorry to say I don't remember his name.

We tried to check in and clerk sent us to another Hampton. We were then sent back to our original hotel and we didn’t even get an apology. The heat and Austin traffic addd to our frustrations

Everything was great location stores not far places to eat was right there star bucks was right there yes!!!

Due to covid restrictions, the breakfast options were very limited. The locating was convenient. The room and facilities were clean.

The charge to my credit card exceeded the guaranteed rate and then there was a contingency fee on top. The staff couldn't explain why the initial charge exceeded the guaranteed rate by $50 on top of the contingency fee of $25. In the end, the actual charge was correct but it did create some anxiety. Due to covid there was no housekeeping during our stay. We had to request clean towels and garbage bags.
