The safari tents feel luxurious - beds are really big and you have a private deck. The staff are super attentive and everything was very clean. You get given an ice cooler for any food / drinks you have, there are free ice lollies and smores, and a light program of other activities you can do (something each evening eg arts and crafts, star bathing, music etc). Great access to canyon lands. FYI you will need to drive to Moab for restaurants.
For our tent, the sound from the highway carried, but I think that will be the case anywhere around Moab, and they do provide earplugs. Still slept well. Just adding for any very sensitive sleepers.

Fantastic location (despite being near the road). You want for nothing here. Great reception then taken to our tent and helped us put all our stuff in the buggy right up to our tent. Mist systems to help with the hear, fans inside the tents, batteries to charge your phone, etc. Little porch is very cute to be able to enjoy the night sky. Bathrooms are great, warm water and great shampoo (my hair was soft for days). Great activities suggested, lovely smores around the fire which got cut short due to high winds but continued to chat inside around a little fire. We loved it!

Staff was AMAZING! Best customer service I have experienced maybe ever. Always a smile and a helping hand! Facilities were clean, scenery was unbelievable. Bathroom in our tent was worth every penny. Loved the focus on sustainability. Perfect in every way, except the highway noise (see below).
The highway noise did have a little impact on sleeping. I like that they have earplugs handy (and I did not use them, so that may be on me). I did not notice it except when all was quiet and trying to sleep. That being said, the experience was worth it and use the earplugs!

Cool idea and the tents were beautifully appointed and comfortable. Good facilities with fire pits and grills available. Nice common area with microwave
As many reviews state, very close to the highway so truck noise is quite loud throughout the night, bring ear plugs if a light sleeper. No real good options other than some grab and go items. Really need to go into Moab for dinner if you want something nice. Can’t keep food in your tent due naughty raccoon so they loan you a chiller bag to keep in your car. This worked fine.

The staff was exceptional - above and beyond in getting my wife and I set up in our tent, having sufficient lighting and battery pack for charging and even old school hot water bottles like I used in my childhood farm to help keep warm in bed at night! Our tent had a nice little woodstove which did the trick perfectly to keep the tent more than comfortable despite sub-40s temps at night and there was plenty of supply of starters, kindling and seasoned wood for fuel. Honestly, while it was "camping", these staff was so available, even folks without any camping and woodstove experience would be taken care of by the staff and very comfortable. It IS a tent you are in, so chilly in the morning, but after a 10 minute process to get the stove crackling, you'll be good to go! I HIGHLY recommend Under the Canvas for non-experienced or minimally experienced "campers". It is a similar experience, but with a fantastic support resource group in the staff. When / if I return to Moab, I will absolutely consider Under the Canvas again depending on what we are up to during our trip.
Honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Lived up to or exceeded all my expectations!

I really did love everything except the traffic noise and that's why I woudn't reccomend it, which makes me sad, as I would love to recommend it. It's also very pricey for such rustic accommodations. I mean, that's what I wanted, but it seems to me that rustic accommodations ought to cost a whole lot less than a 4 star hotel, but that's just my opinion. The staff was wonderful. I loved the pull chain shower in the room. The bed was amazingly comfortable. And wood burning driver was a life saver our first night there.

The staff was very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful! The views were beautiful and a close drive to all of the parks, recreation and restaurants.
Unfortunately, it was extremely windy and we didn't get to enjoy as much of the outdoor activities as we would have liked. Totally uncontrollable though and the staff really made up for the weather by bringing the activities into the lobby, such as making s'mores and there was live music.

it was very unique. I was surprised how comfortable the bed was the evening music was really nice. They had some Maurice that you were able to do in the evening and games or to play. They have several grill and utilities for cooking. The shower houses were clean and so was the canvas tent. Honest employees. received a call that we forgot something and they would hold it for us.
They need a better sign so you can find the location easier. Your don’t need a park pass if your coming from Utah unless your planning on going into the Natural Park. I thought we needed one to get to the property. Property was located really close to the noisy freeway. They did supply air plugs which was good because of noise from road and the weather. I have a hard time wearing them. You can’t drive your vehicle right up to the property. they do offer a golf cart ride for you and your luggage to your canvas tent or you can carry your own luggage. No plug ins in the tent but the offer a battery supply, just make it works. I could t get my phone to charge.

The staff was the most accomodating staff I have ever experienced. They were kind and understanding! We had an issue on our excursion and ended up having to stay another night. Even before that, they were so kind to let is know our things were safe, and I trusted them. They made us feel like friends. The canvas tents were beautiful, and the beds were so comfy! One of the most comfortable sleeping situations I've had. They had a wood stove to warm us in the desert night and supplied all the wood we could need. Even had it set up to start easily when we were ready. Great for anyone who is not well versed in fire starting. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean for being shared by many and being in the desert. The recreational side was amazing, too. Super close to Moab and the National parks. Even at the site, they had fire pits, hammocks, games, and lots of good music. We will be staying at these facilities on our next trip. They are all over the United States. ❤️
There was a wind storm that freaked me out. They can't really control the weather though. Lol I really have nothing bad to say about the property.

So grateful for the impeccable service by Becca. She was patient and professional to show us around and answer any questions we had. The tent was hot in the summer, which made it unbearable to remain in the tent in the day, but there were many ways to stay hydrated and entertained in the lobby. Stargazing was great without light pollution. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Under Canvas Moab
