The rooms are a good size - a bit like a one bedroom apartment i.e. included a small kitchen and lounge area. It's in a nice area. Friendly and helpful staff. Old style and Good value for money

It's quite a hike uphill from the station so would not want to try walk there with luggage.

Check in was super easy and extremely accommodating, a train delay left us exhausted and just wanting to change and relax and they allowed us to check in early. The weather being on the hotter side we appreciated the fan included in the room, the breeze making the stay so nice. Additionally the prices for the washing machine and dryer were fantastic making it super affordable to just clean the clothes we used during our stay so we could go home fresh. Not to mention this hotel is located right smack in the middle of everything, the waterfront and pikes market isn't far off plus plenty of tasty restaurants nearby and a cool lowkey bar just around the corner! The convention center is also close by so it really is the place to stay for any occasion.

The only issue I had with my stay was there was no 'do not disturb' door knob hangers and the room we had one side of the window was chained so it wouldn't open fully leaving the room unbearably stuffy the first day and night even with the fan blasting air the whole time.

The room was basic, no frills. It’s an older hotel but it was clean. A clean room is the highest importance to me and this room met m expectations. The staff was good. The neighbourhood was safe. The parking was not free which was disappointing. $24 for 24 hours was expensive especially considering that other hotels I’ve stayed at always had free parking.

I didn’t like having to pay for parking on top of the room fee.

Staff are extremely helpful, luggage storage prior to and past check-in/check-out hours, there is a functional elevator, nice water/ice machine, and convenient entry spots to the hotel. We especially loved having access to a kitchen and living room that's separate from the room as well as the historic feel. The main highlight is the location of the hotel and access to so many good restaurants and attractions that are in walking distance.

Ventilation in the bathroom.

Efficient check-in, comforatble room, convenient location, quiet at night, "old school" elegance. I didn't use it on this visit, but having a kitchenette could be handy... although there weren't any utensils (pots, pans, plates, knives, forks, spoons)

Front desk was often unattended (I assume there was someone at the desk in the building across the street, but didn't check). Room got slightly chilly in evening. I could've used a shelf to store miscellaneous things... the small table wasn't sufficient. Slightly more lighting would've been handy. Elevator was slightly wonky... sometimes the door needed a push to close, rather than reopen.

The room was big, cute, and clean. Location was great and staff was really friendly. Good blinds kept the lights out and even though it was downtown, there wasn't much noise. Bed was firm but comfy.

It was worn and clearly showed its age. Lighting was a bit odd - lamps only and in some odd places. We didn't have a plug outlet on both sides of the bed so only one of us could charge our phones. We asked for extra blankets and were told there were none. Maybe keep one blanket in one of the many closets...?

This hotel is great for visiting Seattle. The location is fabulous with easy walking to Downtown and most attractions. Parking is very close and affordable. Considering the proximity to the city, it was nice and quiet. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was very spacious, clean and tidy.

While it is very in keeping with the "theme" of the hotel, I felt the decor was very 'dated' and the hotel looks much older in person than the photos portrayed on the website.

The room I had on the third floor was very spacious with a small kitchenette and a small breakfast table. Although the hotel is very close to a medical centre it was fairly quiet throughout the night. The staff allowed me to stay an extra hour after checkout, a bonus. You have to check in at the hotel on the opposite side of the street and they will store your luggage for you until their check-in time.

The Wifi was quite spotty at times. Having double glazed windows would help a lot to cut down the noise from outside.

Excellent location, perfect for the convention or heading downtown. I've seen several comments on the area but was out late both nights and there was zero danger or any kind of issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are older style but very clean and definitely cared for, and I was very happy with the kitchenette

A lack of air con meant the room was very warm, but we did have 2 fans in the room which helped

We loved that we had a corner room, so we had 3 windows in our room. I loved the vintage vibes, and the history behind the building. I loved the closest space, it was spacious! I loved the door bell and the glass knobs for the bathroom doors. I want to know where I can buy it for my own home. It was so beautiful to me. I also loved the trees,

My husband didn't like that there was no air conditioning, but for me it was okay, because it was very breezy and in the morning it was colder than normal. He didn't like that the tv, was so low and the wires was hanging from the back, I didn't mind it, because I was working on my computer and it didn't bother me. My husband didn't like anything about it.
