I absolutely love my experience here!I stayed the majority of my time at the Moana Surf rider this time while in hawai, however I decided to stay an extra day to get a very spiritual tattoo on my birthday. I could have chosen to stay at the Moana again, but I chose to go to a more boutique style hotel at a more affordable price. The staff was so nice. It was amazing and my friend called ahead of time and they surprised me with a very nice birthday surprise/welcome. Which by the way she tried to get moana surf rider to do- Which they didn't do over the four days we were there lol. Both hotels were great But if you're looking for a more intimate home like comfortable environment this is your place! Not to mention the breakfast! It was absolutely amazing with all of the fruit the muffins and the delicious bacon! Not to mention Twenty four hour beverages on the house! Needless to stay when I come back I will bring my family and we will most likely stay here. It's literally 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. Also, the rooms and showers are super spacious and can honestly fit my whole family in both. Give FIVE a try!

The hotel is located in Waikiki (second row), it only takes you a few minutes to walk to Waikiki beach and many Waikiki restaurants. The hotel also offers free beach gear such as towels, beach umbrellas and beach mats. Our room fee also included a solid breakfast with fresh fruit. You can also get coffee and water in the hotel lobby all day. The staff at the reception desk is very friendly and well-trained. Valet-parking is - compared to other hotels in Waikiki - rather cheap and very efficient.

You have to keep in mind that the hotel is located in an older building and the rooms' furniture is a bit old-fashioned. The rooms do not have balconies. Without a balcony, towels and bathing suits stay wet and do not become properly dry over night. As the hotel is in Waikiki, there is a lot of noise from the traffic which you can hear in the rooms, also at night.

it was right in the heart of everything! steps away from the beach, amazing eating spots within walking distance, and it really feels like the staff is watching out for you, especially solo travelers!

Loved you location, and the use of beach supplies for waikiki beach. The breakfast was the best and offered so many choices. I also loved having access to coffee/tea/water all day. Your staff were amazing, always friendly and when I needed help with my walker were more than willing to assist. It is also on TheBus route, which we took to go everywhere, and that was super helpful.

the only criticism is the small room, two of us were staying in the twin and with my walker in the middle of the extra space, it made it tight, but we were only in there for sleeping and so that didnt present any problem.

VIVE Hotel is amazing, I had the best time. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. My room was clean and spacious and had a gorgeous view. The breakfast every morning was delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Very guest-oriented staff, very obliging and friendly! Nice and clean room, good location, good breakfast. In comparison to same class hotels like Hilton Garden Inn and Park Shore (I visited all three in May/June 22) by far better. Likely the best value for money in Waikiki. Full recommendations!

excellent location at Waikiki beach, within a couple of minutes of beach and promenade street as well as close to zoo, some of the shopping centers, great restaurant choices and a great and lively neighborhood with good public transportation connections. Very friendly and helpful staff, fresh breakfast choices, free coffee all day long, as well as water in the lobby area, comfortable and clean rooms, great value for money compared to other neighboring hotel choices.

2 bottles of water were provided in the room, but they came at a charge of 1,50 USD each (usually hotels give a bottle of water which is complementary); breakfast choices were the same each day (fresh fruits was great), but it lacked a greater variety

The location was fantastic. I was there for work, but it was excellent to be able to walk quickly to the beach in the early morning or evening after work, and to any number of great places to eat. Top notch location. The breakfast was also quite good for a mid-range U.S. hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The parking valet service was extremely good, and every staff member I encountered was helpful, professional, and very kind. Very good service. Would recommend highly.

Nothing that you won't get anywhere in HI. It's a little run-down and the walls are thin, but well within standards for mid-range in Waikiki. Good value for money in HI. It'd be a much nicer hotel for that price in most other U.S. locations, but HI is insanely expensive. It's not a mark against the hotel at all.
