Location perfect near train station, friendly staff , city tour bus stop near by

The AC did not work properly, room has heater that makes it too hot, no control for heat

Everything went well: the hotel is clean, staff are pleasant and the location is superb (especially if arriving by train). The price for a decent, basic hotel in the centre of Madrid represents excellent value for money.

Soundproofing is minimal - could hear every word of my neighbours' conversations, alarms going off, hair dryers etc.

I've been staying here for years, usually when I'm travelling in or out of Madrid on trains. It's always the same great service., and so close to Atocha station. They gave me my room right away. They aren't big rooms, but they have everything I need and all well laid out and comfortable. The staff are always there to assist and answer questions. Strong WIFI, good desk setup, lots of shelves and hangers, usually a balcony, which is nice to have, and a very comfortable double bed. Plus it's reasonable compared to what other hotels in Madrid are now charging. It's just a great place all around.

You can usually hear some noise from the nearby rooms, or people in the hallways, but I'm used to it by now and it never lasts very late.

Great location and room

I stayed with my wife at hotel Mediodia from 23rd to 25th February,2024. It was very close to main train station Madrid. I traveled from Barcelona to Madrid by fast train but the Hotel was visible right from the station exit and it perhaps took less than 10mins to arrive at the hotel. The location is excellent near Arte Metro station very close to the hotel. There were so many restaurants to select next to the hotel including a souvenir shop very close.. The staff at the reception were very helpful and at our request it booked two tickets for us over phone for FLAMENCO SHOW. Our breakfast was not included. Leaving this negative points , it's an excellent hotel and I recommend it to everyone who visits Madrid.

Slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided to the guests

This hotel became my alternative choice due to the need to separate from my friend, as the initial booking didn't provide enough space for both of us. However, it turned out to be a positive experience. The hotel's excellent location, within walking distance to museums, Atocha station, and charming restaurants, made it a convenient stay. The coffee place next door was a delightful bonus, with professional staff always ready to assist.

Opting for an economical single room meant accepting a smaller space, especially in the shower area. However, this was a minor concern for someone eager to explore Madrid rather than spending much time in the hotel room. Overall, it served as a cost-effective and satisfactory solution to my accommodation needs.

Location! Right in front of the Rena Sophia, and right across from the Atocha train station - excellent location. We picked the hotel as we were doing a number of daytrips via train, and was easy walk over to the train. Cab stand right outside the hotel as well. Could not really hear street noise (ask for a room facing the back at the square the Rena Sophia is on). Clean spacious room with good shower water pressure. Helpful staff. Breakfast buffet (but no variety) for 12e. excellent stay.

Lacked some charm but not important to us.

We needed a place for a quick overnight in Madrid, and I wanted it to be convenient to the Metro and to the Atocha train station. This hotel was like a 5-minute walk to Atocha, and was less than a 1-minute walk to the "Estación del Arte" Metro stop. Plenty of places to eat and lots to see nearby (though we weren't there long enough to take advantage of all the perks of this location). Hotel was comfortable, room was clean and quiet, staff were friendly and helpful. Zero complaints!

The property is better than the current pictures i think because they are renovating the place and it is smaller as well, but good anyway, the location is perfect close to restaurant, bus stop and taxis are in front of the hotel and two metro station beside the train station that is right in front of the hotel

The check in can be done until 15h00 and the noise of the ambulance and the traffic can be heard easily

This would be a four star hotel in most countries. It’s a beautiful building with traditional European balconies overlooking the streets. Very quaint and made from top quality materials such as marble. Although it’s in the middle of a popular district for night life, the walls are well insulated and the balcony door kept the street noise out. Plus it’s a stones throw to distance to the Madrid Atocha train station. I booked same day and paid a small fortune, hence docking it for price. I’m sure others stayed for a much better rate than I did.

The price but I booked it the day of during a weekend.
