Nice clean studio. The walled in bed area was very cramped. The queen bed was comfortable, ample hot water for showers. Abode is opposite South.Point shopping mall, very convenient for cafes, restaurants - especially Little Istanbul Turkish restaurant.

The check in with a car was very confusing. I was directed to enter the carpark and then find the check in on the first car park floor. When check on was done I had to move the car to the 2nd level car park for Abode guests. There is a lift that services the check in floor and the guest rooms on the 2nd car park floor. Better signage in the car park would make for easier check in.

The room had everything we needed and was clean. Secure parking was also a bonus. Easy walking distance to everything in the Tuggeranong centre.

Very disappointed with the disabled bathroom. We did not need or request a disabled room and due to appointments we checked in and then left the apartment for a few hours. When we returned and used the bathroom we felt it was too late to change rooms. The entire bathroom floor flooded every time we showered. A cleaner gave us extra towels to put around the shower to help.

The room was simple but lovely. The carpet was soft after walking around all day. The bed was comfy and the location was amazing. Very short walk to cafes and restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner and opposite was the South Point Shopping Centre.

The only issue we had was the hot water didn't last long and you needed to put the shower head facing right above the drain otherwise you would end up with water on the rest of the bathroom floor. There was a slight ridge, I think meant to keep the water in the shower recess, but that didn't help. We quickly realised what we needed to do and after that it was fine.

Close to shopping centre and eating venues.

Parking fee. Rooms and hallways need to be refreshed as they were looking a bit tired. Loose plumbing fixtures in the bathroom. No TV in the bedroom. A lot of rubbish in the car park. Elderly parents were given a room on the 1st floor where the sliding door to the verandah was broken. It took a couple of phone calls before they were eventually moved. Instructions for coffee machine were non existent.

The Abode had excellent location, a walk away from the local mall which had access to everything Big W, Woolworth and Food court. I also loved the fact that the appartment was a walk away from Lake Tuggeranong and Leisure centre and Basketball court. The room was a good size and very spacious and clean.

Advertised as having streaming services available but the TVs internet kept wouldn't connect to internet and the advertised streaming services apps were not updated and could not be updated due to Internet dropping out all the time. Could not screen share from our phones for the same reason. Also having a big family apartment should come with a decent sized television.

A good-sized and well-equipped apartment. Incredibly close to a great variety of international eat-in and take-away restaurants. Good access to other parts of south Canberra.

The only negative was FINDING HOW TO GET INTO THE PLACE!! We ended up having to find a park, and ring the desk. Then in a side street we found the correct roller-door (Yes!) and entered an incredibly complex parking station with minimal instructions. (I think Abode needs to write a very detailed instruction sheet, with ANNOTATED MAPS AND PHOTOS, and put it on line so people can have it with them when they arrive.

It was very clean with features that went above my expectations for the price

The reception said on the website and on the door it closed at 6pm and that after that you’d be told how to check in differently. I got there about 5:35 to find the door locked. The receptionist was still there and opened the door then pointed me to the after hours check in point, telling me she had sent a text with the details. I told her I thought check in was until 6pm like it said on the doors and website, she responded with she had banking (or something similar) to do and walked away without telling me where the parking was and I couldn’t see it from outside the building so I ended up parking across the road.

Great location, over the road from a huge shopping centre. There was small coffee shop and Indian grocery shop outside on street. We used Uber’s but hotel is close to buses. If you swim it is 3 minutes from a public pool. Wifi was good. The pantry in lobby was a good idea.

Bedroom was very small. We could not fit our ports on floor. Even to unpack and put clothes in cupboard would have been tight for two.

Great location, shopping center right next door with lots of dining and shopping options available. If you are driving, there is no need to book the parking as there is an open carpark right across the street (check signs for rates but it is free after 6pm for overnight parking).

Hallway was heavily perfumed to mask smells coming from other apartments cooking food.

The bed was very comfortable. Loved having cooking facilities and alot of space. Felt at home. I particularly loved the smell of the corridors and would love to know what the scent was used in the automatic dispensers so I can use it at home. Will definitely be back again

The dishwasher was still dirty and the walls were quiet dirty also in hall area. I only noticed this as I'm a cleaner myself. Otherwise, everything was great. Maybe a salad bowl?
