Staff at the main desk were very polite and extremely helpful. Plenty of free parking outside. The room itself was very clean and a very good size. Showers were lovely and hot, the bathroom was well set out. Beds were comfortable and a selection of comfy pillows. Air con worked well and tv had many channels to watch. We had dinner in the evening and my husband stated it was the best steak he’d ever had , and believe me, hubby is hard to please. Breakfast in the morning was good. A nice selection, even for a fussy 6 yr old. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again .

Great staff, always friendly & welcoming. This is our 2nd stay here. A few days ago, we were in the room directly opposite the one we stayed in. This room looked almost identical. There were plenty of power outlets for devices. It's a decent sized room. I just wish there were at least two chairs at the writing table. There is a laundry facility which is handy. We used the iron this time round- typical iron and board. TV was a decent size with plenty of options. It's also casting capable. The beds are cosy and spacious. There is a phone in there where you can dial out to reception, etc. There were complimentary bottles of water and sodas in the mini fridge. It was very pleasant. There's also a hot drink station where you can make coffee & have a choice of teas. There's also an in-room safe if you need it. Carpark is not far from the door - this is great!

The bathroom in this room wasn't as nice as the bathroom in the opposite room. This bathroom had a broken/weak fan, so when you had a shower, the steam would linger. I had to open the door to get some air circulating. The ceiling also has paint peeling, which was disappointing to see. One of the usb outlets was also broken, but the front desk were ready to supply an adapter if needed.

Superior Queen Room: AC/Heater - worked nicely. Beds - both clean, really comfy. Extra blanket available & spare pillows. Ironing board & Iron available and a safe - my kid thought it was a microwave hahaha! Alarm clock - didn't use the alarm function, but used it to charge my phone - there are two USB-A slots on it where you can plug your chargers in. Lamps/lights in the room were nice. The head boards lit up - fancy 😆. The tv is about 32"-42" & chrome cast compatible. Wifi is pretty good, and makes casting simple. Under the tv there are inputs for your cables e.g slots for your usb chargers etc. There is a bit of a slope when going to the bathroom, if you're not aware, it's awkward, so careful. There's one writing desk & one chair, one couch and one standing lamp. There was complimentary water bottles, coke & sprite in the mini fridge - these were perfect! There are complimentary tea & coffee above the fridge in a little nook. The pod coffee machine has instructions. There's also a little kettle if you prefer tea or instant coffee. Sorry kids, I didn't see any milo, but then again, I didn't look for it. There are two mugs, two tea cups with saucers & tea spoons, 4x glasses and 4x wine glasses. Room is not ideal to eat a meal in it with your family, but room service is available. Not sure what they offer. There are plenty of towels. On the vanity you get a sanitary bag for a disposal, shower cap, one tiny soap bar, toothbrush & toothpaste, shaving kit, little vanity kit & a mini comb. So you know, mini soaps and shampoos are more bother than what they're worth. But here, they have two 300ml (I think) bottles fixed at the sink under the bathroom mirror- 1 x handwash & 1 x body lotion. In the shower there are 3x 500ml bottles fixed to the wall. 1x body wash, 1x shampoo & 1x conditioner. Thank you so much!!! No need to pack towels or toiletries for your family trip.

Location and facilities

Finding a hair in my mushrooms at breakfast time. My complaint was ignored by the lady at the front of the restaurant, whereby she told me to put the plate on the side bench and she didn’t move from her station to inform anyone or remove the mushroom dish. I mentioned the hair to a worker when he entered the buffet area. He kindly apologised and took the mushroom dish to the kitchen. I returned back to the buffet several minutes later for another serving of mushrooms, only to discover another hair!

The hotel is by far inadequate for what they charge having said that I did cop the ridiculous cost of the hotel due to it being the school holidays.

I often wonder with hotels if it's best to charge an arm and a leg for food & drinks and have a small percentage of people prepared to pay the price or to sell at a reasonable price and have the majority of people eating and drinking until their hearts content!! The bar staff are uselessly incapable of being creative, the cocktail menue is by far inadequate to say the least & when bar staff were asked to create something with Bailey's they couldn't seem to understand the concept!!

Location was good for when we needed to visit family. Novotel is right next door to RSL nice food court in there and bowling and arcade is across the road good for kids. Didn’t get a chance to go to SAGC which guests can use apparently. This is also across from hotel. Heaps of parking right outside. Can do your own laundry there’s a room on every floor but dryer does not work well so we had to take to laundromat to dry. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Nice spacious bathrooms. Rooty Hill town centre is 2 streets away nice to get breakfast and cheap eats. Very close to Mt Druitt mall which is nice.

Couches in rooms could use a clean. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash hands.

Very spacious and comfortable room, Beds were very comfortable. There was close undercover parking and 24/7 reception.

The room curtains look like the aftermath of a Kill Bill movie scene. Staff are well aware. The TV remote UP volume button did not work, The shower rail for the towels was not screwed in properly and the inbuilt USB charging port did not work. Other then the curtains, these minor issues could and likely will be fixed.

the facilities were great, definitely unexpected and pleasantly surprised the staff were friendly, always with a smile I was pleasantly surprised that there was a guest laundry, but only found out when I saw the sign as we walked past it

Nothing that you could fix in relation to bed comfort as it's always a personal preference. Maybe just let people know when they check in that the water in the fridge is complimentary. I start off every trip telling my family not to touch anything in there except the milk for the coffee/tea but we found on our last day that it was complimentary (yes I should have checked beforehand). Maybe also let people know when they check in about the guest laundry facilities.

The hotel location was excellent for what we were doing being sports all weekend. So after a long day you could go back to the room and then eat next door.

Not sure if I like that you need to go thru the carpark to get to the swimming pool. Also we had friends stay in the hotel on different floors and other than the club there is no where to sit and catch up. Plus the club need to sell take away alcohol.

When I arrived the staff was so friendly and helpful room was clean I would recommend this hotel and the price for 2 night 2 adults was reasonable and what I love about it is that you can pay on arrival witch I prefer to be honest. My room had the disabled bathroom witch was perfect even though I brought my own shower chair LoL
