Great location, clean tidy rooms. Very comfortable for our short stay. Food at the pub is excellent.

The check in process was slow. I'm not sure how the person checking us in didn't seem to understand that I had booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and that I wanted a key for each room. We got there in the end though. I also didn't like that my credit card was taken to an office to process and was out of my sight for the time it took the staff member to do the check in which was almost 10 minutes. I did question this but it was laughed off. If I stay there again I will be requesting that my credit card stay with me and that my payment is processed at the front desk.

Convenient location, food at tavern was excellent, and staff were helpful and friendly.

The room was smaller than expected, and I was not happy that the rooms were at the back of the tavern and there was no direct entry between the hotel and the tavern. It would be dangerous for someone to be walking to their room after leaving the tavern at night since they would be walking from the front all the way to the back where the rooms are

Nice sized room for 2. Private bathrooms were a plus and decent pricing per night. Down the road from shopping centre and obviously have the tavern to eat, drink and play. Motel tucked away in the back of tavern away from public view w/car parks available in front of rooms. I personally enjoyed the stay. And would go back if I needed a place stay in area again.

The fridge was much too small to store anything in except maybe drinks or small foods. Besides that I had an awesome stay

The Blacktown Tavern was so close to the Blacktown PCYC, which was where we were headed for the weekend for sport. If we didn't have so much to carry, it would have been an easy, flat walk to where we needed to go (possibly 15 minutes tops). The local cinema and shopping centre are at the end of the same road, and so is the train station. The Tavern itself was spotless, with staff that truly know the meaning of customer service. The food was amazing at the Tavern, and we loved that it was delivered to our table. Strawberry Spritzer mocktails put the cherry on top for a couple of non-drinking travellers!! Nothing was too difficult for the staff at the Tavern. I cannot recommend this place more highly. We will definitely stay here again.

This is, in the scheme of things, quite petty and it definitely did not affect the quality of our stay, but the toilet was missing one flush button. It did not affect the operation of the toilet, and is really more of a cosmetic issue and nothing to worry about at all.

Nice comfortable bed which was clean, tea and coffee, nice shower and toilet which were clean, TV which worked, air conditioner which was powerful and high quality., carpeted comfortable and clean floor, large room with plenty of space in the Superior King Room. Recycling bins outside if you want to be a responsible citizen. Friendly staff. Excellent pub food of high quality in adjoining pub with very large sports TV screens and slot machines and live music on many days. Like a mini Las Vegas

I wanted to stay longer than the nearly 1 month I had booked, unfortunately I couldn't take the hotel with me to the next city because the hotel didn't fit in my ute

Location is good, minutes from the CBD and trains, but away from the noise. Staff were friendly on arrival. Room was medium sized, but larger than the "other" budget accommodation chain which I've also recently used. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the attached hotel/bistro was nice, with a good quality menu in a nice family setting. Bottom line - if you don't expect the Hilton for <$100 you will be happy with this accommodation.

Only thing I could think of was maybe needs a bathroom extractor fan - but at least the hot water was plentiful :). Signage to the Reception could be more obvious. Small complaints, nothing really.

The main entrance to the VIP Lounge was Extremally welcoming and warming for a long distance traveler. We had lunch at the main bar, and we must say, the Chips are pretty yummy.

We were Set up with single Beds in our Room. No worries, No matter there. The option of Swapping Beds should be made MORE available, more often. Swaping a Single Bed, for a Queen/King . This option was not available due to Full Bookings . But we have no complaints are worries about the bed situation. We were still happy

I love that it’s a tavern and great location for my leisure, I loved that there was a kettle this time. many more things I really like about it too.

opened soaps from last visitor were still in shower, and there were only soap and shampoo and conditioner but no towels or shower mat, and there was no ceiling fan this time in bathroom when having a shower. and bathroom door seemed looser than usual.

I loved the fridge, extra pillows, own bathroom, comfy bed, accessories (soap, shampoo & conditioner) and the room was so comfy and relaxing!! I liked everything!!! Thank you 😊

Can't fault Blacktown Tavern. You are the Best in Sydney West for under $100👌 I didn't like that I didn't take photos but, next time I will!!!

The location is not that bad, 10-15 minutes walk to and from the train station. Moreover, it was quiet and peaceful. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. They were easy to talk with and all our requests has been granted in the duration of our stay.

The toilet and bath were a bit of a mess, but it was an easy fix. The beds were very comfortable. Outlets are located in a good way on our room. Easy access and not hard to find.
