The apartment was just what we needed with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, airconditioning. Also washing machine and dryer, iron. The best thing was the location. We didn't realise it was right in town so Queen St Mall and surrounding shops are a block away. There are also heaps of cafes and restaurants on the street, with every cuisine you can thinks and convenience stores too. Also next door to a japanese grocery store and they had their weekend market on as well. You can also walk to the river and do the river walk.

It would have been better if there were more things to help with cooking such as oil, salt, pepper, etc. Maybe a spray and wipe bottle.

I loved that they confirmed the day before to see if we needed any special requirements. Checked we wanted twin beds in second room. All the staff except one gave exceptional customer service. The cleaning staff were lovely as well.

There was an Asian lady at reception, seemed to be training someone. I had asked about checking out at 11am, instead of 10am. She said couldn't be accommodated as they were full the next day. I explained we would have a late night and it was only an hour, she kept fobbing me off and said checkout was 10am. I explained I was an accor member and it was only an hour. She kept shutting me down, didnt check my room number or name. I went to reception that afternoon, the young asian lady said it was ok and noted it on my file.

I’ve stayed at Mantra Midtown many times before and this occasion did not disappoint. The staff, especially Zac, are all kind and helpful. The apartment was comfortable, well appointed and had everything required to enjoy our self catering stay. The central location was ideal. I would definitely return here next time I’m in Brisbane.

There was nothing to dislike - perhaps next time I would prefer to be on a higher floor to enjoy the stunning views of the city.

The location is excellent for a Brisbane city visit. South bank and the mall are a short stroll. The apartment was nice and tidy and the bed comfortable. Extra kudo's for the staff who were very friendly and helpful.

The downside is basically caused by the location. The hotel is surrounded by other high rise buildings which blocks the views and there is a continuous buzzing of ventilation systems when you are outside. From within the room itself you don't notice anything.

Staff, particularly Ho, were very helpful and accommodating.

We booked a 2 Bdr Apt 6 months in advance, requesting the highest floor possible as we came from a Regional Area to enjoy views....upon check in we were allocated the 6th Floor! The lounge could not seat 4 people as booked. Only free to air TV was available. The electric oven did not work, thank god the microwave did. One bedside lamp in the master Bdr did not work. Basin plug in the 2nd Bdr did not hold water. Shower rose in Bdr 2 operated only just above a trickle. Bdr 2 door did not close properly.

Great location close and walkable to most tourist needs.. lovely views and outside balcony Plenty of room and facilities. Staff very pleasant. Beds are brilliantly comfortable

Some aspects were a little tired , washing machine didn't work and someone had put all the crockery and glasses on the top shelf of overhead cupboards making them impossible to reach

The check in and check out process was effortless. We received a complimentary upgrade from a studio apartment to a one-bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy, and positioned in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and polite.

Permanent residents leaving their apartment doors open so that they could chatter to each other, and it also allowed cooking odours to fill the hallway. The onsite parking fees were also very expensive.

Central location exactly what we wanted, and apartment had everything you could need for either a short or longer stay, with good facilities for washing and cooking etc. All the staff were friendly and helpful, with a special mention for Ho, who helped us sort out teething problems with the fans and safe.

The beds were quite soft, so no good for us and we ended up with backache most mornings, but would be perfect for anyone who actually likes soft beds, so just a personal dislike rather than a problem with the apartment. What we REALLY didn't like though, was the lack of curtains in the living room. (There was a net curtain only). It is quite creepy sitting there knowing that the dozens of people in the apartments over the road can see everything you are doing, like being on display. We ended up sitting in the dark and just using the ambient light from the bedrooms to see our way around in the evening. Whoever owns this particular apartment (I think it was 1103), should pay for a decent curtain to protect the guest's privacy.

MY first room was disgusting there was no way I could sleep there. Dirty dingy, cigarette burns on coffee table looked like vomit on the floor the energy of the room made me feel sick Reception upgraded me to a larger cleaner room It amazes me how b grade bathroom ages and cleaning is these days. I will rate on the first room If u want me to rate on the 2nd Send another survey

Clean, good amount of space, everything worked and went smoothly. Comfy bed, good tv, working kitchen, good bathroom and amenities, nice soaps

A little bit of noise from both the street and other tenants, to be expected from the location but the walls might not have been the thickest. Weirdly placed power points.
