Staff friendliness and helpfulness is key in making us welcome and comfortable: All staff are 100%. We love the ambience of the entrance lobby and the layout/presentation of the seating areas/dining areas to suit any mood at any time of the day on your own or with a group of friends. The lift is a bonus as it comes almost as soon as you press it so you are never waiting long.

Loved everything but if I am to be picky - it would be lovely to have a separate shower to the bath. Stepping into the bath isn't great and I can imagine lots of people would struggle. For the price we pay, other hotels have this option.

We had a bit of drama when we checked in as I had requested a "walk in shower" for my elderly parents as my Mum is on a walker and if we could check in early around 12 noon as we were heading to QPAC to see the show "Hamilton" at 2pm and would have driven just over 3 hours to get to Brisbane. One room was ready but unfortunately had a step up bath which was not suitable for Mum. We spoke with reception and then the Manager and agreed that when we got back from the Show they would have it sorted for us and they did! Mum and Dad were upgraded to a suite which was perfect for them as we would have had to possibly look for another Hotel; the Manager and reception staff were wonderful in the circumstances and I wish to personally thank the Manager for sorting it out for us; he was very kind and professional. We had dinner the Saturday night and Dad loved the seafood and breakfast was also very good. The rooms were lovely; we normally stay at the Samford Plaza but I think from now on we'll be booking at the Sofitel. Thank you everyone who accommodated our request to make this a very pleasant stay for my parents.

Nothing, the staff were excellent.

Connection to train Fragrance in hotel Room service options. Raspberry sorbet is unbelievable thank you. Friendly and efficient staff on reception. Excellent concierge and Porters Excellent female chef on eggs on Friday 25/9 Seating hostess on breakfast in all black outfit was excellent. Some breakfast staff need to remember it’s hospitality!

Would love the option of grilled fish and sweet potato fries on the menu!

the staff are friendly and efficient. professional. well trained. the place smelled good. lobby is welcoming and spacious. location is the best: right above the central station (no noise). value for money as return train tickets cost $37 vs car rental at $250 a day. so catch a train in and stay in luxury. bedding is super comfortable. the sea food buffet is a must: so much food and endless desserts. waiting staff there are so good. i suspect Sofitel has got the best staff in the country! definitely coming back here.

shower over the bathtub. it’s an older hotel so the layout of the bathroom is old school. this being said, I really enjoyed having a soak in the bathtub. most places you have to pay extra for the bath tub privilege! my room looks down at a big car park but being on the 20th floor this didn’t bother me.

One of the entrances is directly connected to Central Station! Our flight was pass midnight, hotel allows us to check out luggages for the whole day! Friendly staff.

I told reception upon check-out about one of the doonas in our room was so worn out like I was just covering by sheets only!! Other than the doona, everything was great! I will definitely come back if I ever travel back to Brisbane.

excellent location - I like Sofitel hotels

I think maybe the rooms need a little bit of an upgrade for the prices charged - it was still very comfortable and I will return there on my next visit. I thought it strange that the cleaning of rooms was done very late in the afternoon during our stay - I prefer a morning cleaning service but I imagine if there’s a high number of guests staying there it needs to be staggered - not a huge issue!

The staff were not only efficient, but extremely helpful. Check-in and check-out was simple and easy, the access to Taxi services, coffee and a wonderful breakfast were fantastic (in fact, the buffet breakfast was ample and delicious!), and the room was surprisingly large. Not to mention comfortable and beautifully fitted. Silly, but I loved the lift and that the access pass to your room, the pool, lift and other areas it was required for worked the first time, every time.

Nothing, I would stay here again, no question.

The staff were lovely and sweet and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Great location. Lovely room. Enjoyed the heated pool a lot! All around a wonderful stay.

It always annoys me a bit when wifi incurs an extra charge but oh well! It didn’t affect what a great time I had and just meant a got through more of the books that I’d brought.

Comfort and spacious. Quite location, right about central train station with direct internal access. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Free upgrade to King room.

Glass and cup should be properly clean, still have coffee stained and glass - milk stain. There were no slippers for such high rated hotel. Milk was opened by last guess and not changed/replaced. Air condition control is difficult to set to desire reading. Should regular check and maintain rails etc, screw is half way out. Complimentary internet was only limited to 24 hours. TV is rather small for the room and limited to turning angle.

Nice view, lovely modern hotel. Pool and spa area were nice with cocktails delivered poolside. Really comfy beds. Lobby restaurant and bar looked great as well. The room was very well priced as well. Bathroom was very nice also.

Few spots missed in the shower as far as cleaning. Parking is expensive but we were recommended the parking across the road which was only $5
