The view was great looking over the bay and lap pool. Location was good. The room was good, . The spar was good and different being a round spar that viewed into the loungeroom. My daughter summed it up as a great honeymoon unit. Because half the wall was clear glass so you could watch TV while in the spar. Was very different.

A new lounge would be better and an added lounge chair would have been great as people have loved the old lounge to the end. Wasn't good for people with back problems like ourselves. But we will come back.

This property is one that we have stay at many times so we are very familiar with the location and features however this was our first time staying in one of the ground floor units and it was just as good as the third level we have stayed in previous. There are two ample sized bedrooms - one with a King and the other with two king singles and all very comfortable, lounge area, dining area and kitchen. Easy access from garage and side gate on back courtyard to main bedroom otherwise you need to go through the main door in the lounge area. The large sliding door from the dining area leads straight out to a small patio with table and chairs and overlooks the beach and ocean directly out to the top end of Fraser Island (or as it is now known K'gari) - pictures of this included. Note: you need to request beach side as not all of the property looks in this direction. There is a couple of restaurants nearby (a short walking distance) and near the marina if you wan to organise trips to the island or whale watching at the right time. The boat club down the road (3 minutes in car) has two small cinemas so if you want to see a movie you don't have to go into the main part of town for that.

Garage is small for a larger vehicle (we have a Pathfinder) and we ended up mostly parking in the other spaces throughout the property. The kitchen in this size room was weirdly set out and for a larger person the sink was difficult to use. For the first time the cleanliness of the room was not up to the usual standard we had experienced previously - they need to vacuum behind the TV unit for dead bugs - found them when looking for a power point to plug in a charger. Feedback for the managers - attention to proper cleaning between guest would have up the rating to a 9.

The unit was a great layout. It was spacious, clean, & the cooking facilities were good. The location is really beautiful, right next to the marina, but with a fantastic view of the Bay & Fraser Island. We loved watching all the boats going in & out, & walking on the beach. It's close to markets & the jetty & some lovely cafes & restaurants. The staff were lovely, & always happy to help. A lovely place to spend our 40th wedding anniversary.

I can't really think of any real negatives, accept maybe the spa bath. Not for us, but for anyone who may struggle to get into a big bath it could be a little difficult, since the shower is over the bath. maybe not all rooms have this situation though.

It is a stressful time for us. But this place was so nice. An excellent kitchen for preparing food. A lovely view of the marina and all the way out to Fraser Island. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. And when I was stressed out i just went out on the balcony and sat down with a drink of water and a cup of coffee and stared out at the horizon - we were on the 2nd floor. It was amazing - really put my problems in perspective. It was also interesting watching the activity down below with prawn trawlers and fishing boats unloading in the wee hours of the morning, pleasure boats and reef viewing boats heading out in the morning. I grew to love that balcony, the fresh air and the view.

No wifi here. Sounds of cutlery and plates clattering is pretty loud due to the lack of curtains and enough soft furnishings to quieten the sounds. Our no. 5 person had to sleep on an airbed next to the double bed - a bit of a tight fit. But the positives far outweighed any negatives. I would definitely come back here to stay again.

The room was clean (except for one cupboard). Pool was awesome and close. Loved that my car was close and undercover. Staff, particularly reception and the cleaning ladies are super friendly and helpful! Bed was comfy. Awesome view! The spa bath, while needing a little work, was a great surprise.

There was a very large cockroach in the kitchen cupboards along with a fair amount of droppings! Had to use the outside phone at reception as we booked in late. It is so crackly you can barely hear on it. Only 1 element on the stove for cooking. Need at least 2 and an oven would be awesome! Air con leaks onto the sofa bed and has caused rust.

Comfortable beds, large rooms and living spaces

Kitchen was lacking more pots …..cooking for a family of 5 was a bit difficult with 2 small pots. 1 tea towel and chux was also not enough. Two of each would be better. The dish washing soap was also a bit challenging to use out of the packet (but that’s just minor) The blinds in the living areas and bedrooms are a bit damaged and don’t really close properly

We had a beach front apartment, the water views are fantastic. easy drive to all parts of Hervey Bay. Close to the Boat Club and other eateries. walking distance to the mariner.

Lack of free wifi (internet) in these times. some of the fittings in the rooms are stating to show their age. maintenance to some of the smaller issues need to be addressed around the facilities.

Location, communication and staff in the reception area were wonderful, unit was clean and tidy, views from unit were beautiful. Close to activities and restaurants.

Hot water ran out really quickly. One of us had to shower in the morning and the other at night so we could both have hot showers. Our showers weren’t long by any means so that was a bit inconvenient. We’ve stayed a few units in the Resort over the years but this is the first time we’ve experienced this issue.

We were lucky to get a top floor unit with roof top terrace. The unit was roomy and well equipped. 3 bedrooms with ensuite. The view is beautiful and location great with direct beach access. Very clean. Full laundry in the unit with washer and dryer and also a clothesline on the rooftop terrace.

There’s not much to not like. I know some would complain about having no wifi, but for this trip with grandchildren it didn’t bother us. I found the stairs a bit of a bother with luggage, but that’s only on arrival and leaving.

The location is fantastic and the staff are very helpful. The unit was lovely with every item that you could possibly need to use during your stay it also had a huge fridge/freezer which was a bonus. Our car broke down and we were able to book an extra four nights until repairs are completed
