Visited 29 Nov 2024 (4 nights) We stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment was large, clean, comfortable. (This is part of Lenna Hotel group, over the road). Our room had view over Salamanca Place. We also saw three huge Tourist Liners arrive in three days! Off-street parking was available. Yes, recommended! Thank you Nearby activities are plenty: Walk to: Salamanca Market on Saturdays (we have been a few times). Restaurants and fast-foods in the Harbour. Restaurants and Pubs on Salamanca Place. Our favourite is Irish Murphy's. And, can walk to town CBD Malls. By car to many other places: Mona (Museum of Modern Art) (we have been there). Cascades Brewery (recommended). Derwent River Valley drive (great produce like cherries). Burnie Islands (via the ferry at Kettering) (we spent the day). Hastings Caves (we took a tour there). Tahune Forest walk (on the same tour). Then further to: Richmond town (historic). Port Arthur (old penal colony and historic place). many more...

All good - no complaints !

i stayed in the penthouse appartments twice recently, it’s beautiful, the view.. the room, i absolutely love this place. i wish i could stay for a week! for disability access there is a lift and flat surface with disabled parking right next to the front door! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟9/10

i saw a pubic hair on the rim of the bath, so felt uneasy about that.. i cleaned all the surfaces down. the only other thing i can ‘fault’ although it’s not really.. it would just make it 10/10 instead of a 9/10 - is the bath is only fashioned step into. and bring disabled i can’t do that but with the elevator flat, easy entrance and space in the room it’s fantastic for someone disabled such as myself. so yep a big 👍

Really well situated apartment, close to the city and Salamanca Markets. The apartment was really comfortable and roomy and well appointed. The bed was large and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay immensely and was only let down by a few minor items.

A few little things let down the overall experience of the room. A door leading onto a balcony was poorly sealed and let through a really cold wind when it was blowing from the right direction (which was constantly during our stay, The door also rattled due to the wind. The shower being in a bath was no good for my elderly wife as she could not get into it and needed to just wash.

Loved that we were close to everyrhing. Cafes, bars and restaurants were on our doorstep. The Salamanca markets were right outside on Salamanca Place and the other srores in the area are beautful art and craft boutiques. It was a fabulous starting point for our holiday

The one time we asked for our apartment to be cleaned my husband's antibiotics went missing. The night manager was prompt and helpful in trying to locate them but in the end they weren't found. On a plus, it was only a few minutes drive to a late-night chemist.

We required a room with an accessible shower in preference to one where you have to step into the bathtub. The hotel staff responded very promptly and changed us over to a disabled room. This suited our needs much better. All of the staff were professional, courteous, welcoming and friendly. The location is brilliant, in walking distance to transport, tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes and food shopping.

There was no apparent exhaust fan in the bathroom, however this was no issue. Otherwise we have nothing bad to say.

The location was fantastic and exactly where we wanted to be. Easy to walk down to Hobart Wharf area and restaurants/shops etc. We would definitely stay here again. Reception is available 24/7 across at Lena of Hobart, where we have also previously stayed. Both locations were fantastic! This hotel also has free onsite parking for guests, which for us was great as we had a hire car and never needed to worry about where to park the vehicle.

The only downside, which wasn't really an issue at all, was that we could not figure out how to stream channels on the TV. It had Foxtel channels, however we were wanting to watch a specific show on 10 Play and also another on SBS on demand during our downtime. We simply couldn't find any option for this on the TV. Again, not a big deal and certainly would not stop us from staying here again.

We had a one bedroom apartment which enabled us to spread out a bit and make our breakfast if we wished to do so. The location is quite unique close to everything in Battery Point, walkable to shops, restaurants and the dock. We arrived and locked up our car for the 3 days. Our car was in a secure outdoor parking area. The staff were so helpful and right onto any problem that cropped up. We hope to make a return trip in the future and would recommend Salamanca Terraces to friends. Cheers Dianne

There was nothing we didn't like. My only comment would be that unfortunately the clothes drier didn't work despite a maintenance person being called to look at it.

The location is excellent: very close to decent restaurants and easy walking distance to town and shops. The apartment is spacious and well set out with both bedrooms upstairs. The living room is enormous and there are T.V.s in both bedrooms and the living room all with Foxtel. The kitchen was big and well equipped and the heating worked well. The staff were amazing: nothing was too much trouble and the housekeeping ladies are so friendly.

There are no views but it didn't matter to us as the comfort was wonderful.

The location was fantastic, room was lovely with a small self contained kitchen (you can book bigger rooms with bigger kitchens if needed) there was secure parking behind a boom gate for your car. A short walk to Salamanca Markets if you are there on a Saturday. Lots of different eateries within walking distance. Grocery shopping available at Salamanca Fresh which is open 7 days a week and has beautiful fresh foods and is a 8 minute walk from the accomodation. You could also walk all around the waterfront area which is very big. From here we went to Bruny Island for 1/2 a day, drove to the top of Mt Wellington, went to Salamanca Markets, explored the local area which has lots of lovely artistic type shops. Beautiful area will be back!

That we only stayed for 4 nights!! There was still so much to explore.

Very spacious apartment in an exceptional location. Apartment fully equipped as regards crockery, utensils etc. Parking availability was much appreciated in a top location. Reception experience excellent with general house staff over the top with friendliness, assistance and cleanliness.
