bed was great room and location were both really good. Location was great could walk to the salamanca markets and was handy for the ferry ride to Mona. The people on the front desk were very polite and helpful . The dinner was very very good although a little expensive.

not anything to really complain about. As I said above a little expensive for the evening meal but it was very good. The initial room had a shower over the bath my wife has trouble getting in and out of these but we asked the staff if we could change rooms which they did happily . Maybe let people know that shower is over the bath on the web site it does not show this. Thats the only thing we could fault with our stay.

When we initially booked the accommodation (across the street at the apartments), I wasn't told that the car parking was in a separate area. We have stayed plenty of times before so had all our bags out of the car at reception expecting to go upstairs. Had we known before we would have left our bags in car and driven over. Also, when I moved the car across to that location, I wasn't told there would be a parking fee. Usually when we stay it is free parking. I understand that there must be a fee of $15 per day. Had i known that I would have just left the car in the free parking area instead.

The perfect location. Near to the city, shops, tour buses, wharf, restaurants and the wonderful Salamanca market on your doorstep. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with everything you needed. King size, comfy bed and plenty of streaming choices on the big TV. Large table and chairs were a bonus as many places don’t have them at all. Elevators always magically there when you pressed the button with no waiting time. Staff were always helpful with our queries and room cleaned daily. Would highly recommend Salamanca inn.

Amazing location, friendly staff, kids loved the pool. Reception area is lovely.

No aircon in the adult room upstairs. We were there over new year and it was very hot, even with the window open. The children's room is off the living room so we couldn't put them to bed then chat or watch tv in the living room as we would have woken them. Again no aircon in the kids room so the door is just a louvre door to allow some air in. Not good for blocking light or noise though! We would have put the kids upstairs in the double bed, but it was too hot for them to sleep up there. We were able to sit on the balcony to have dinner which was fine, though very small.

Great hotel, location clean and tidy.

If you want to have a sleep in and late checkout, it was a bit noisy with the staff who were cleaning out the rooms having conversations outside our door with please do not disturb.... normally, it means I am trying to sleep or relax.... 2 mornings of it was a bit frustrating.... I haven't had that before. There was quite a bit of yelling to each other up the corridor as well. The hotel was lovely, just not sure we would stay again if that was to happen.

Lovely room with modern decor. The kitchen had every needed to self cater, with a large fridge, lots of pots and plates etc. The beds were super comfy. Room was large with nice sofa. Perfect location to Salamanca Place.

The shower over bath was a bit tight to get in/out, with very touchy cold water tap. The main room windows overlook a walkway to a car park so you had to make sure curtains were drawn for privacy - but these are very minor things.

Very Comfy, Good Layout. Foxtel channels a bonus. Good Wifi. Easy access to Salamanca Place for the markets and Wooden Boat Festival which was on at the time. On site parking cost us $15 per day which was not unreasonable when you consider the convenience of access by foot to so many local attractions.

Reasonably well sized bathroom was not well served by the shower over a very small bath. Access not easy and barely bigger than a hip bath it was neither one nor the other.

The location was great for our reason for being there. The hotel is half a block from Salamanca Street with lots of shops ,restaurants and grocery store. The Salamanca Market on Saturday is amazing. We loved being able to walk along the wharf and shop and dine so close to the hotel. The staff was very helpful answering all our questions and the hotel restaurant was also very good.

The cleaning staff didn’t vacuum the floors or mop the bathroom floor during our stay.

I was so impressed with Salamanca Inn from the moment we walked in the door. It's lovely and fresh and the greeting from reception was just beautiful customer service. It didn't change, regardless of who was on the desk or at the end of the phone. Staff could not do enough for me and I had a few last minute special requests. Thoroughly delighted and impressed and will be staying here again for business (or pleasure).

The location of the property is excellent. The rooms where spacious and clean and it had. A nice little bar and restaurant . They had. Pool and a spa which was a lovely extra touch. What was outstanding though was the reception and hotel staff nothing was to much trouble, it relaly added to the whole experience and think they should be recognised for thier customer service

Only downside if any was a bit noisy in the morning from street garbage trucks and our apartment was overlooked. By an office building .
