Overall, a beautiful hotel. Great pool and Gym. Restaurant was lovely with wonderful friendly staff. Gorgeous city views from the restaurant, yummy cocktails and buffet breakfast was delicious. Lovely staff across all areas of the hotel.

We had two rooms. Balcony room was lovely for two although there we only one chair for the dining table and there was no furniture to sit on the balcony. Room without balcony was very small for the price and without opening windows did get quite stuffy. Overnight climate control went from roasting hot to to really cold which meant I barely slept.

Great location, very clean and super comfortable. Very good gym and pool. View from our room on the 24th floor was unbelievable. Staff were warm and welcoming, with Erica in particular going out of her way to help us when our credit card was hacked and used all the way in the US. Would definitely be staying again when we return.

Room lighting was a tad confusing and took some time for us to figure out. Maybe some extra guidance / material could be useful. But this is really a minor issue

Loved the location, comfort and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We loved the restaurant, we used it for pre dinner drinks and some appetisers absolutely amazing.

We had breakfast on Sunday, I didn’t love the surcharge especially considering breakfast is $40p.p and then the surcharge as well which made breakfast $92 and honestly the quantity of food available just didn’t meet my expectations for that price. I’m saying that we would book the breakfast next time as part of our hotel deal, as we loved the staff and view from the restaurant.

Groovy fitout (really loved the selection of materials and colours), gorgeous scent used in the lobby, spacious room, lovely pool, quirky design touches, great location (close to train station and the bits of Melbourne we wanted to visit), friendly and helpful staff. The sound of the trains was very muted and not bothersome at all. The room aircon/ventilation was amazing - effective and whisper quiet, just brilliant - the advantage of a new build. We had lovely drink and meal in the restaurant on the top floor, again, very appealing decor/design. Checkout the tiny photo boxes lining the corridors - the hotel under construction! And the bronze sculptures in the lifts!

The room doors are really heavy (kinda good) but shut with a very, very loud thud (not so good) - we were fortunate that the rooms around us were not all full otherwise it could be quite disruptive if fellow guests were not careful to ease the door shut. Our room was one with a double door to an adjoining room. Sound leakage through this area was more prominent, would ask for non-adjoining room when staying again. Some people may not like the fact that there is no door to close off the bathroom from the rest of the room but that didn't bother us.

The staff were friendly at check in and check out. We only stayed one night but my friend swam in the morning and really liked the pool area which was modern and clean. Towels were supplied at the pool. The breakfast was yummy and chef made eggs to order. It is very close to Marvel Stadium so a great place to stay after a concert.

There is no carpark on site and the closest option was offsite car parking which was charging about $60 for the night. Needless to say we didn’t park there. Actually parked at Crown for $22 for 24 hours but had to walk across the river. Fine for us, but not great if you had poor mobility. A subsidised parking spot at a local off site park would be good. The only other thing is the buffet breakfast is expensive. It’s one of the smaller buffets I’ve been to regarding options (although the food was good). It was $40 but they charged an extra $5 as it was a Sunday. This seemed rude when you already pay a premium to stay on a Saturday night.

* Hotel is very new and has nice design * Located very close to Southbank area and near to the river side and restoraunts (10 minutes walk) * Rooms are comfortable and very clean, have nice city view * There is everything in room for your needs (like slippers, bathrobe, other bath stuff.. even iron) * The breakfast at 25.th floor was really nice with large choices

* Just very small comment on wi-fi; time to time it was slow * for all rest no complaints

Very central location, convenient to everywhere. Walking distance to Southerncross station. Staff were really nice. Love the variety of breakfast choices, pineapple juice and mushrooms were very tasty. There was a Hubei restaurant opposite the hotel with great food and a nice cafe as well.

The bathroom is directly connected to the bedroom without a door. Was worried the smell could go to bedroom since I couldn't find a fan in the toilet. But I turned on the Aircon in fan mode with high speed, didn't smell that bad, just a bit awkward feeling.

Hyatt Centric is a beautiful and modern hotel in a great location. The room had a really nice feel to it thanks to the lighting and tasteful layout. The bathroom did feel a bit like an outdoor toilet block but maybe that’s just my own personal opinion. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area as well. There were no towels at all on our second morning which was a bit annoying - there was often rubbish left behind my other guests that wasn’t removed for the whole day. The pool just needs a little more love and then it’s perfect. The hot water in our room ran cold for a good 5 minutes. I mentioned it on check out. It may have just been our room but worth checking this if you’re staying there in case you need to change rooms. I sound nitpicky but we really did love the hotel and had a great stay. I recommend trying Romo Pizza Bar nearby as well, it’s amazing

Lovely entrance foyer, that smelt lovely! Nice lay out in room for twin beds. Had dinner and breakfast at Langlands restaurant. Really generous portions for dinner, and great selection for the buffet breakfast.

I was disappointed that I couldn’t use either of the Peloton bikes in the gym as they were both stuck on “installing update”. Had to be careful with the sliding door to bathroom, as it had a auto close function at the end that was easy to get a finger caught it!

value for money and good location close to tram stop

although I already requested for a rollaway bed and hotel confirmed/acknowledged the request, upon check in when i double check with the staff, they couldn’t find any record of me requesting the rollaway bed and pointing out to me that I made the booking only for 2 adults without putting plus a child hence they didn’t prepare it, where in fact I did made a booking for 2 adults plus 1 child. other than that it was a pleasant stay and would consider staying again in future.
