The hotel itself and the accommodations were well above average. However, the assistance I received from Hilda Wilderen was exceptional. She took the time to assist me in arranging for an extraordinary opportunity for me to experience family history. She authored an email, corresponded with others, and arranged for transportation. She resolved several logistical problems and connected me with individuals who could help me. This is far beyond what an average hotelier would do for a random guest. I will always be grateful. By the way, the breakfast was wonderful.

Nothing of any importance.

The staff at Hotel Monsieur Ernest were really lovely and helpful. We had a very comfy king sized bed in our room, which was made every day and towels were fresh. could beat the breakfast every morning, nice selection of bread, meat, juices, teas and coffee. Brilliant location, about a 10 minute walk to the square where most things are located.

The only negative thing I can think of was every now and again there was a high-pitched sound in our room, similar to that of a kettle whistle. Not completely sure where it came from, but I think it was due to the room next door running their water. It would stop after a few minutes, but it was quite annoying. But, this wouldn’t put me off returning here

Location of the hotel is truly fantastic, easily walkable to some of the most stunning parts of the city. Having on-site parking was extremely convenient, and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also A+, great selection of bread and cheese, very impressed. Plus, I always appreciate it when a hotel provides you with a free pitcher of water in your room - all hotels should do that!

The room was a bit small, and got hot during the summer. The hotel provided a small fan which helped somewhat, not a huge issue.

Location was perfect, straight off the ring road and in a quiet cobbled street with parking right next to the hotel. This was a real bonus to us. Hotel was lovely and room was spacious , clean, tidy and modern decor.

No Tea and coffee making facilities in your room…A big red card for me when booking a hotel, this to me is a basic necessity for a traveler staying in a hotel… this was a real disappointment, enough to not want to return. However, Laura the receptionist came to the rescue. Thank you Laura Also the breakfast was a little lack lustre, thank goodness we only stayed two nights. But in terms of location, room, stylish hotel and the private parking this was all what I expected from its discription and we were happy with it.

Breakfast was great first morning of stay with variety of fruit, breads, cheese and hams. Key card for front door and room very up to date! Receptionist was very helpful and knowledgeable. Location 5 mins walk from a main car park - so perfect.

Breakfast 2nd morning ran out of bread varieties early on and limited to croissants and white rolls. Communal lobby/stairwells dated and a bit run down. Noise from a road early morning despite canal in between room 1st floor and the road.

The room was a good size and the shower lovely. Everything was very clean. The room felt a little spartan due to lack of any wall decorations. The staff were excellent. We met the owner and he personally drew us a walking map for Bruges which was superb! Also breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Th location of the hotel is great with easy access to the main attractions of Bruges.

The view from our window was terrible -just a rooftop and walls.

The staff were super helpful. We arrived very early and were able to store our bags so we could go and explore before check in. Our rooms needed some rearranging when we arrived as we needed twins rather than doubles and this was rectified straight away. The location was great. 5 minute walk from the sights and some lovely cafes! The continental breakfast was really great with options to suit most tastes.

A mirror in the room rather than just the bathroom but i'm being picky.

The location is very close to the city center, you walk 5min until the main street from the city center. The location is is an a old house with a very nice design ( the initial design of the buildings ) and traditional. Even a river is one side of the buildings. The brekfast is very good, good options to have a nice breakfast. Another very good options is to leave the luaggae at the reception, if you arrive earlier. We travel in December, an the room have the radiator very good.

Good hotel in perfect location. 10-15 minutes walk to most of the city main attractions. We (family of 4) stayed in a family room on the ground floor just by the reception and the elevator. Initially we thought this could be a problem with noise but it was all fine. Very spacious room. Bathroom was supersize, around 3X4 meters. Breakfast was great, continental style the only other thing we (the kids) wished for was maybe scrambled eggs. The hotel offered parking space at a cost of 20euro per day which is convenient. All in all a pleasant stay!

The safe in the room was broken with wires hanging loose. I'm sure they where not live but it looked really bad. Non of the 2 USB charging outlets did work. Only 2 chairs for a four bed room is a little poor. The barrier in to the carpark which was literally outside our window made a very loud nice when opening/closing. Luckily it wasn't very frequent as the carpark only takes 6-7 cars. The cleanliness was not 100% the floors dusty. Plenty of chipped plates and cups in the breakfast room. And finally, no bathroom "water scraper" and as there is no shower curtain/tray the water was everywhere in the bathroom.
