Location is perfect, located just 5 minutes walk from historic center of Brugges on very calm and safe street. Breakfast was super delicious, with newly cooked bread assortment and very fresh food, we were loved it. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we were arrived too late and they still managed to enter our room without any difficulties. Only one thing which hotel need to develop is AC in rooms, here is small cooler and it's OK if you use it with opened windows. In overall, this hotel is really nice and value for money. I will stay again for sure <3

The Hotel was located really well. Very close to all the attractions and 5 mins walking distance to the centre. The rooms were comfortable but a little small. However the beds and the pillows were really comfy. I usually have a neck ache when I sleep in hotel rooms but I had no problems at this time. The breakfast was well beyond our expectations. The quality of the food provided were excellent for a 3 star hotel. You can really feel the owner's effort to be a good quality 3 star hotel. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. He gave us some great recommendations for places to see, eat and buy chocolates :-) Overall we were very happy with this hotel and would recommend it.

The rooms were a bit small and didn't have a proper wardrobe but it didn't really matter for a short trip.

Breakfast was good , very fresh, could do with the toaster being out on display to use, rather than bothering staff to toast your bread for you. The location of the hotel is great, close to the centre and bars and restaurants.

Stayed in the walnut suite around the corner from the hotel, there are two flights of stairs to climb and no lift so this wasn’t very good for us, and there’s no walk in shower you have to climb into the bath and sit down and use the shower head, so I didn’t like that. It was very noisy outside as well, because the room was on a road, so still awake at 3am. However a family member stayed in the main part of the building and there was a lift and his room and his bathroom were great.

We stayed at the Monsieur Maurice one night on our way to France. The hotel is off the beaten tourist track in a very quiet area, but still very close to the city centre. We weren't able to book a parking for our car, but there were plenty of car parks in the vicinity, so that was not a problem. The owner was very friendly and our family room was nice and had everything we needed. Breakfast was also great.

We were there on a hot summer night and the room had no air condition. There was a fan though, but it didn't help all that much. It was ok though.

the owner and the entire staff were an amazing group of people. from the second we arrived the owner drew a map of all the best places to visit during our stay as well as a list of restaurants to try in the area. On my day of departure he even offered to drive me to the train station to save a few bucks instead of taking a taxi. Him and his beautiful 3 year old puppy “Socks” dropped me off at the train station which was the kindest thing an owner of a property has ever done. I 10/10 recommend this property to anyone staying in Brugge.

Location is close to the square so easy to walk everywhere, room was great and size was respectable, with a big wash room.

Few little thing that could be redone, 1st the toilet hight is for people above 7 feet, it is seriously ridiculous that my wife at 5 foot 4 could not touch the floor with her feet while on the toile, also theres no separation at all between the toilet and the shower, so theres water everywhere when shower yourself, having an AC in the room and a bar fridge would be really welcome., but overall, it's a nice hotel that I still recomend

AMAZING HOTEL!But what makes this hotel to receive 5 extra stars: we had a big inconvenience. We left something VERY important in the hotel safe. Not only were they super honest and returned the valuables, but the whole team was overly friendly and helpful with the situation! They even personally drove us to the train station (on a holiday, when the city was packed!) to get us to the train on time. Dear team: thank you very much for your honesty, for a wonderful stay, and for a service that is neither obvious nor standard. We will gladly come back and keep on recommending you!

Great correspondence before visiting regarding booking a parking spot at their sister hotel Monsieur Ernest. The hotel is set in beautifu,l historic Bruges within walking distance of everything you might want and yet is on a lovely quiet back street. Staff at both hotels were welcoming and engaging. They spoke perfect English and offered information about the city if needed as well as giving you a map straight away. The hotel was clean, with modern decoration. Simple yet elegant. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of breads, fruit, muesli and granola with yoghurt, ham and cheese, coffees and teas. Housekeeping staff were polite and always prompt in the morning, our room was left perfectly ready for the following nights sleep. Small travel bottles of shampoo and body lotion provided in the bathroom. Bottled water provided in the room. Good radiator that you could easily set to your preferred temperature. Adequate clothing hanging space with shelves and a suitcase stand. Good, powerful hairdryer in the bathroom and towels for each person (3 staying). Lift to all floors. Light and airy corridors.

great location. quiet street adjacent to canal with ducks in it. breakfast was good enough. There was a bar on the ground floor but it functions as a breakfast room only I think. close to interpark facility (https://www.interparking.be/en/)

seperate toilet and shower. no aspiration in toilet. balcony door should be better with an upper opening option for fresh air.

Nice boutique hotel close to centre of old town. Big comfortable room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Super big refurbished bathroom, though tiles were a bit slippery.

Not the hotel's fault, but Booking.com needs a better definition of Parking. Is it on-site? Free? Paid? or in a public carpark a good distance away? In this case, parking was a kilometre walk away. Just a bit frustrating after a long drive.
