This was the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. Obviously recently renovated so all the facilities are brand new as well. The staff were professionals, friendly and gave us a lot of advice about the currency, places to see, transportation, etc. The breakfast was worth the extra cost as there is a buffet with a variety of fresh food (you can eat as much as you like) and you can order a coffee and a menu item which were also very well made. Their pannacotta is the best. Location is great, you can hear the peacocks from the park nearby, the tram stop is a very short walk from there and you can easily walk to most of the sights. A much quieter neighborhood compared to the other side of the bridge. I would definitely book the same place again but would probably choose a cheaper room.

You need to get up early for breakfast because the popular items disappear fast. Also, even though I booked the Junior Suite thinking that the balcony has a view of the city, it actually has a view of the small inner yard and you can only see the very top of the Charles' Bridge tower.

Hotel Ikona is in an excellent location, 3 mins walk from the lesser tower of Charles Bridge. The staff are friendly and helpful with directions and transportation. We were offered a to-go breakfast box on our departure morning. The daily breakfast is good with hot and cold choices. The room is a little compact for us but no complaints. The AC is good and the hot water is more than enough for two persons to take showers in a row. Daily cleaning is provided. We were offered a small bottle of Brut for the New Year Day celebration which is really sweet. Overall, it is highly recommended!

Nothing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet road very close to Charles Bridge. We stayed in the room with the roof terrace and the room was very roomy and it had a quiet private roof terrace. The coffee machine in the room was lovely. The wine bar was lovely and the complimentary glass of wine. The breakfast was lovely, with vegetarian options.

The coffee machine in the room could have been provided with more coffee pods each day. There was roofing work behind carried out to the building next door, but the work was not carried out early or late. The one AC unit in the room was underpowered for the size of the room and from the solar heat gains from the roof. There was no shower, only a handheld shower over the bath. The roof window in the bathroom couldn't be opened by the push button.

An amazing small hotel with nice & spacious rooms, with high ceiling, chandelier, A/C, couch and big bed with 2 separate duvets (really smart idea). Clean and super comfortable bathroom, room also equipped with Nespresso coffee but also a tasteful breakfast with yummy food at a nice area on ground floor along with a wine bar! Personnel has been very kind and supportive giving us all necessary info for an easy and quick check in when arrived late. There was also room to leave our luggage before we departure from town. The location is simply the best in Prague right at the start of Charles bridge but on the side that is quiet and not crowded. Very pleased in all and would definitely come back again.

The room we had was beautiful. Inside the little courtyard on the ground floor, shared with just 1 other room, felt like our own little private garden. The room size itself was huge too! Wow! Also, the smart tv with netflix etc...brilliant for travelling with a toddler who you can distract for 10 minutes while you get a shower.

Honestly, just the price. We travelled to Prague 2 years ago and got a similar hotel in the same area (about 30 seconds walk) for like £350 for 5 nights. We paid nearly £600 for 3 this time. Granted, we travelled during the week 2 years ago, amd this time was Thurs/Fri/Sat. Also, the ice hockey championships were on this year, which made the city very busy and likely inflated the hotel prices, but still, such an expensive stay haha

Great location just off to the side of Charles Bridge. Easy to find. The hotel is clean and newly renovated. Our rooms looked over an inner courtyard but nothing special. Another of our party had a twin room that was huge and looked out over the street, very nice room. Breakfast was OK. You can ask for a hot meal in the morning which is a nice touch but strangely they have no toaster! Not even in the kitchen so no toast. There is a little, tiny bar downstairs that gets very busy with locals over a weekend, it’s a hip wine bar that also does small tapas. The pub at the end of the street was always busy, over 4 days we could never get a seat at anytime of day. There’s also restaurants at the end of the street leading onto the bridge. Lots of other options close by. The whole of Prague was busy when we were there, so if you want a meal, book a table. Coffee machines in the room was a nice touch but I had to wash out the water container as it was stained with old water. Also run a blank cup through first to clean it before you make your coffee. Bathroom and shower clean. Small TV on the wall near the door, be careful, you can easily crack your head on it as you walk in. Apart from that nice hotel. It’s the first time we stopped on that side of the river and probably won’t do that again, we’ll stop on the other side in the old town, as we’ve done on many trips to Prague.

TV in dangerous location on wall in our room, right in the doorway, at head height if you’re about 5ft 11” like me. Nothing else, nice stay but that side of Prague is not for us.

Room 14 is large and faces onto the street with sofa, two chairs and table plus a large super comfy bed. The bathroom is big The furniture and fittings are excellent quality and stylish. Other rooms seemed to facing an interior courtyard which might restrict light. The breakfast was wonderful with six choices of specially prepared dishes plus an extensive and varied buffet. The staff at reception were friendly, spoke excellent English and we were able to check in from 2 and leave our bags on checking out as our flight was later in the afternoon. The location is excellent - a very short walk to Charles Bridge and handy for public transport

There were no cups and saucers in the room and the provision of coffee, tea and milk was rather limited although there was bottled water and both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available in the fridge but a price list was not obvious. As it happened we had been out to dinner and it was only after we got back and I was hunting for cups, I discovered the fridge. The shower holder is positioned so the water from it sprays over the end of the bath.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just around the corner of the famous Charle's Bridge. The room we had was large and well equipped with a great bathroom. There are many restaurants and pubs just steps away and a wine bar just on the main floor of the hotel. The breakfast was very nice with lots of variety. The staff of the hotel is very attentive and pleasant!

Our room was facing the street and the only problem we had with our stay was a noise from the street and near restaurants and bars sometimes little too late into the night.

This hotel was a little gem in the middle of Prague. The staff was super friendly and the building was very well maintained and pretty. We had the attic room which was a bit hot (it had air conditioning, but it was just too hot outside to really cool it down enough for my tastes). The room was huge and great for a 4 night stay. It was in the absolute best location!

Our room only had a bathtub, which we knew was the case. It would be amazing if they could somehow add a shower in there. Other than that - it was perfect.

The rooms were simple but super comfortable! The thick walls keep sounds out so even though we were on the first floor, we had little noise disturbance. The room was clean and was cleaned every day very thoroughly it seemed. Breakfast was lovely, especially the first few days we were very happy about the inclusive small menu that we could chose from aside from the buffet. Location was perfect, it is located next to a cozy cafe Lokál and is practically near the Charles Bridge. Of course this hotel is on the pricier side, but for our trip it was exactly what we wanted and were willing to spend a few more bucks on.
