Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager who treated us like vips. Our room was stunning, the beds were so comfortable, the bathroom was marble throughout, I had to double check we were in a budget hotel. We ordered room service which was by Dennis, he was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. The next morning we went to check out, mandy was the night receptionist, if you stay there make sure you go see her, she is soooo nice. I can't wait for an excuse to go back.

The hotel had only been reopened this week but we had no idea, you couldn’t tell there was building work going on at all. Rooms where spotless and comfortable! Staff where super friendly and helpful. Food was gorgeous. There’s a parking meter outside so we didn’t realise you didn’t actually have to pay. When we told the staff at reception they were very apologetic and complimented us with free drinks! Which actually worked out a better deal! Will 100% be back to stay!

The hotel is in need of a bit of a renovation (which is currently underway). Other than that it was clean and all of the staff were amazing! So friendly and helpful. Being from near London, where everyone tends to be a bit too busy to be polite most of the time, it really is a refreshing treat to go up north and be met with customer service that goes above and beyond - thank you all!

Air con didnt work, was not a problem as not required but that was luck rather than management 2 breakfast orders, 1st one came but was quite cold, 2nd one was missed, but when it did come it was on a hot plate and great.

The location was perfect for the airport and I liked the free parking during my stay. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the air con wasn’t working although the room windows had been left open and a fan was provided. As compensation the hotel gave a free breakfast.

It was great accommodation at a really reasonable cost. Comfy room, some extras included, perfect for our needs

It might be a bit far out of Liverpool for some - it really serves the airport - but was perfect for us as the student we were visiting lives south of the city centre.

"Clean rooms, comfy beds. Staff exceptionally welcoming and helpful from the minute we walked in. Breakfast and evening meal staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. This was our first stay and we'll definitely be back.

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and am always assured of a very warm and friendly welcome. The Art Deco style of the hotel is fantastic and very well maintained. It is very easy to transport yourself into a Poirot movie. On my recent visit the Covid protocol in place was excellent. There are ample sanitising points around the hotel. The regime at breakfast with the assisted buffet worked really well. I was particularly impressed with the bread, croissants and pastries being individually wrapped cutting down on potential contamination.

There is nothing really that I dislike about this hotel.

We came to celebrate our Aunties birthday, this was our third stay at this hotel because of location. On arrival our rooms were not available and Mo the manager suggested that we wait in the bar and he would let us know when they became available. He constantly updated us on the situation and didn’t once make us feel forgotten. Later on that evening he was there again at the birthday celebrations making sure that everything was running smoothly he was there right to the end. Then in the morning he was at breakfast having arranged for our very large party of guests to all be together. We felt we needed to write something as we felt he did an amazing job in these extremely difficult times and made the whole stay excellent WELL DONE MO!

This hotel is a diamond, especially if you're into the Art Deco theme and are plane geeks like we are! Staff were amazing, gifting us a free drinks and snacks voucher to have in the bar as our room wasn't quite ready, due to us leaving another property (which was utterly disgusting) and arriving late on. We thoroughly enjoyed checking out the old planes around the back of the hotel and the memorabilia inside, it really is very special! The room was very clean and exceptionally comfortable, wish we'd had longer to be honest, but I'm sure we will be back at some point!
