Excellently located just outside Berlin Hauptbahnhof with its extensive travel connections and Mall-type interior. The double room was huge as was the double bed. At the wall socket there were a couple of USB charging ports. Very handy. The shower cubicle was the biggest I have seen in a hotel of this price. The double glazing was well sound-proofed, though admittedly I was facing out the back rather than the busy street out front. The buffet breakfast had a varied selection and was efficiently run. The breakfast guests were mostly singles (business people? or tourists like me) and there were certainly no noisy children.

There was no safe in the room. I ended up carrying my passport everywhere. Neither was there a fridge, though not everyone would be bothered about that. The breakfast buffet could have done with some baked beans to go with the scrambled egg, sausage and bacon. But that's just me being picky.

Location of Hotel directly across the road from the train station. Room was a little small for twin beds, but very clean. Bed made every morning as well as fresh towels. Breakfast was "continental" which was more than sufficient. Our flight was delayed by 7hrs and we were therefore able to check in. The girl on reception was extremely friendly and helpful (unlike the man - see below). Even though we were on the 2nd floor overlooking the main road, we didn't hear a single bit of noise from the traffic.

The man who was on reception late afternoon was extremely rude and impatient....unlike his female counterpart who was excellent.

The only good thing to say about the place - it's two minutes away from any transportation you can imagine... Walking distance to Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate.

Very basic, for travelers kind... We were 15 people came to participate in Berliner Halbmarathon, so we had no much choice, because it's just around the corner, but no other reason... No fridge, you should give deposit to have an electrical kettle, you can't pass between the floors... The air conditioner was still off, though it was very warm. So we had to sleep with open windows, with police and ambulances sirens through the night...

Breakfast was the highlight - all you can eat buffet for €15, you must get this. Plenty of plant based options as well as the usual breakfast fare. Had lactose free milk and yoghurt too. You can pay as you go each day too. Park yourself there early and eat then have a nap and explore Berlin for the rest of the day. Incredible location, we were able to get anywhere really quickly with Berlin Hauptbahnhoff directly across the road. Super comfy bed, had everything we needed for our stay.

Couldn't connect my phone to the TV for casting but that's ok. Watching Seppo Christmas movies in Deutsch on the TV was a trip.

I was a little apprehensive as the Ibis chain is known to be stingy but Ibis Berlin Hauptbahnhof was a pleasant and welcome change. I stayed in the Double Room. The room dimension would be sufficient for one occupant only. It would be difficult to fit two people and their luggages. Breakfast had a good spread including options for vegetarians and vegans. They have a small pantry from where we could buy food and drinks. The required devices and cutlery are set up in the pantry. The hotel is located right next to Berlin Hauptbahnhof so it is really well connected. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. It is has two museums (Futurium and Natural History) at walking distances. The staff was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

For more than one person, the dimensions need to be larger.

What a perfect solution to my lodging needs! I had returned to Berlin via train for two nights, before being my travel to return home. I needed convenient access to the express train to the airport but wanted a central location to do a little more touring. I am unfortunately not as mobile as I used to be and consequently, I wanted comfortable lodging with good access to public transportation. Ibis was perfect. I recommend it highly!

I found the hotel website difficult to navigate.

Location was convenient just opposite the main train station (Hauptbanhof) and this was the reason I chose this hotel. The room was very small but it was ok as I was traveling alone. The room was clean which is the most important.

For the services provided, the price is significant towards the expensive side, but maybe this is a general trend in Berlin. The breakfast was also nothing to get excited, especially considering that it was charged 17 euros.

Clean and modern - this applies to the hotel itself, the room and breakfast/reception area. I shared a twin bed room with my daughter and it was perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly when we spoke with them. The room has towels and body wash for those who may be travelling light. Our room was facing the inner courtyard that belongs to a hotel at the rear of this Ibis, but there was no noise at all. Beds are comfortable, the shower is spacious enough and the water can be as hot as you like it! All entrances to the hotel (and the lift) are activated via your room key card, so it felt very secure. We had breakfast there and paid that morning. At first, I thought 15 euros per person was expensive, but if you work out the prices you'd pay to buy breakfast in the station, it's actually an OK price. There is the usual breakfast options - cooked food, continental (for us!) ham/cheese, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, and a waffle machine. Lots of tea/coffee options and the same for juice. The hotel is literally across 1 road from the central train station so location-wise, it is an excellent choice. I hope this helps you - I would definitely stay here again.

The best part about the hotel was its Location. Exactly opposite to Berlin Main station. The hotel and rooms were overall good. The staff was also helpful.

What I didn't like about Ibis was their Wifi, it sucks. It works for 2 minutes and then stops and this makes me frustrated lot of time when you travel for work and get this kind of wifi. Even I complained to hotel couple of times and they provided me some user name and password but that also didn't worked.

The location is amazing. Few steps from train station Hbf. Just a cross the road 🔥 all sightseeing near - like 5-7 min from hotel

The stuff. The guy on reception - were rude, couldn’t talk calmly. My flight was delayed, I didn’t slept 2 days, he was convinced me that I’m lucky that they have a room for me!!!! I have already booked and paid for it. I guess he wanted money from me. Then the head manager comes and said - this is your number. Without any shouting and stupid explanation.
