The hotel is close to bus stop 9, a popular pick-up/drop-off location. Also, close to many restaurants, pubs, supermarket. The rooms were super quiet and beds were comfortable. The rooms were warm enough even with heaters off and window open. Variety of breakfast was good too. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Probably it is an icelandic/nordic thing but I found the lighting in the room a bit low. Interior is black too and with days being short during the winter time, it is mysterious :) not complaining though but providing info to the other travellers. Really nothing to complain about this hotel...

Great location could easily walk everywhere. Hotel rooms lovely, very clean and bed/pillows extremely comfortable. Staff so friendly and helpful especially receptionist Monica and 2 other ladies who went above and beyond to assist when i missed my pickup for tour (didnt realise i had to get on pickup bus to main bus terminal to join tour and was waiting for tour bus to arrive at stop). Within minutes they had every thing sorted and trip rescheduled. Great continental breakfast. Fill water bottles for you each morning. If you have to leave for tour or airport before breakfast starts they have coffee and croissants available in the lounge.

The breakfast was amazing, huge selection of items.. absolutely loved it. Coffee was wonderful too. Location is great, not too far from the attractions and just 1 block away is a convenience store with food and more.

Wouldve loved a mini fridge to store items and an ice machine nearby. Otherwise everything else was amazing.

There was very nice variety to breakfast and good quality. Staff were fastidious about clearing away used dishes and about replenishing the buffet. Staff were patient and professional. It was a busy time with at least a couple of tour groups in residence. Although on the outer edge of downtown, everything was still quite walkable. City buses were very close, and the airport bus was only about a 25-30 minute walk away. I had requested a quiet room, and was provided with one!

The room was quite hot the first night. Asked for a fan and was better second night. The bed was ok. Hard.

Breakfast was included and it was delicious. The parking beneath the hotel was brilliant and so handy for getting suitcases up and down in the lift. You can park outside on the slope or in the outside car park while you check in but when you have your keycard you can use it to open the shutters behind the hotel and park in the underground car park. Location of the hotel was great.

There could be more vegan options at breakfast. Everything is styled to be dark grey, the rooms are a little too grey for my taste, i wouldnt want to stay in the darkly decorated room too long.

We paid through the nose for a stay on NYE here, but the room was much better than we expected, with full-length corner windows facing the plaza and with a view of the church steeple. This meant we unexpectedly got nice views of the new year's fireworks! Breakfast was splendid; there was a very popular waffle machine. Small plates were provided, to avoid wastage. Staff were professional and attentive, keeping the breakfast area sparkling clean and always on hand to help. Be sure to arrive on time for breakfast as it can get crowded and you'll have to eat at the lobby sofas.

The hotel is centrally located with everything within walking distance. The room was modern and luxurious. Also, it was on the top floor which gave us access to a huge shared balcony with views of the city. The bed was big and comfortable. There is a free parking lot underground and some parking spaces outside, something that not every hotel in the center offers. The breakfast was abundant and tasty, and a bonus was the waffle station.

Excellent solution for your stay in Reykjavik: modern hotel, with large and comfortable rooms, perfectly clean. Strategic location for visiting the city in a walking distance from the city center and from main places of interest. The parking slots and the garage included in the price are a real add value. Very good breakfast, quite varied and made with high quality products Last but not least, the staff! Very friendly and welcoming staff, always ready to satisfy any request. It was a very pleasant stay and we will definitely return.

breakfast was good and a good variety nice and fresh, check in was easy as they send an email for information and we had done it prior to arriving at the hotel. facilities and room were clean.

Everything was SO dark. Even having all of the lights on which are lamps its a very low lit place and everything is painted black, even the restaurant/bar is dark its a nice vibe but never felt like i woke up! Also the parking is a bit of a hassle, cant really tell how to get to it and you have to go in and check in before getting access to the parking garage, but you can get to it in the lift in the hotel so all good.
