The place has a regal charm, with elegantly styled rooms and spacious bathrooms. The staff are exceptionally kind and supportive, adding to the warm and cozy atmosphere. The location is also very convenient, 4 min walk from the train station.

At first, I was slightly annoyed by the requirement to hand over my room key at the reception every time I left. But upon reflection, I found it to be a thoughtful and personal touch. Being greeted by a staff member each time I returned, accompanied by a genuine smile, turned this small routine into a moment of connection that I came to truly appreciate.

We loved how everyone was so genuine and friendly! The manager went out of her way to make my son’s congratulatory trip to Ireland special ( he graduated from medical school). She had congratulatory chocolates & a hand written card waiting for us upon arrival to our room. He kept the card! Thanks for holding a special place for us and thanks for giving us good recommendations on the hiking situation! The room was beautiful, comfortable & clean. The breakfast was great. Out of our 10 day trip, this hotel rated the highest in terms of their pure hospitality. Thank you.

Couldn’t open the window and some of the things of the room were really old and in a bad shape (which didn’t affect or stay)

The staff is super attentive and helpful. The setting is beautiful, the fireplace in the lobby, very short walk to the best pubs, and the breakfast was lovely, and delicious. The rooms were very clean, the bathrooms were spacious, with all the amenities. Very nice lobby and bistro to spend time in.

Nothing that I can come up with, all the staff was extremely professional. They went out of their way to please or assist with any local information, the best! (And they printed it out, without being asked)

Fab interior, lovely personal touches to the room. The golf putting set in the room was a big hit. Comfy bed. Lovely spacious room. Friendly staff and lovely welcoming idea of a drink when checking in and when checking out a little box with two scones. Attention to detail was second to none. Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely few days at the Killarney Royal Hotel. A lovely old hotel that has been kept up to date in comfort whilst keeping some of its old charm. The staff in the hotel are world class, everyone is so friendly and couldn't help enough. A special mention to John who looked after the hotel during the night. John, you're a gentleman and made our day whenever we bumped into for a chat. Would definitely recommend the hotel to others.

We had a large bag of laundry to do and chose to do it outside the hotel which ended up costing 90% less than doing it with the hotel. The pricing was too high for a comparable service

The most amazing Receptionist - Nuala - she went above and beyond and displayed a love of her job and for people, no request too big. She is a priceless asset to this hotel.
