Beautiful hotel. We were lucky to be there for New Year so got to see the amazing Xmas decorations. The bar staff were very friendly and attentive,as were the staff in reception.

Breakfast was the most disappointing aspect of our stay. Although we were there shortly after 9, there was no tea left, no meats and hardly any cheese. The juices were finished so we had water. The staff started to clean-up before we were finished, and made us feel quite uncomfortable. The room door closers need adjusting as they slammed every time someone tried to close them. We were woken up every evening/morning by doors slamming in the corridor. Soft-closing toilet seat is a must today. Especially in an exceptional hotel like this one.

The hotel is located in the city center. You can reach all the important points and tourist streets within a few minutes on foot. We stayed for 7 days. Towels were changed every day, our coffee was constantly renewed. The decoration of the room was also nice. We liked the breakfast. It was simple and sufficient. The sweet buns were great. I would like to thank the breakfast staff. They are very kind and helpful people.

The carpets in the rooms and corridors need to be renewed urgently. The stuffiness and bad smell while walking in the corridor are very disturbing. Fortunately, the window of our room was opened and we did not have to live with the smell of the carpet in the room.

Fantastic location, so close to the centre but not too loud. Absolutely beautiful hotel, the room was very nice (lovely toiletries!) And the lobby, lounge and bar were stunning. Really great staff, treated us so well. I'd definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again.

Slightly disappointing bath and shower, functional and very clean, but dated. Out of sync with the rest of the bathroom. A bit dark in the room, not great for doing make up! Excessive heat in the room when we arrived, had to put the air con on in January. But these were very small niggles that didn't spoil a fantastic stay.

The comfort, service and position of the hotel was excellent.

An issue with the car valet. Although a sign outside said valet parking available, it wasn't and I had to park my car well away from the hotel, in driving time. Although, when I arrived at the hotel, I paid by credit card and an amount for extras during our stay was added to the hold total, every time I tried to add things like meals. drinks at the hotel to my room, I initially was told I couldn't, then there was a long process of finding out if I was able to charge to my room. It should be assumed that I can, as every guest has to produce a credit card on arrival.

Beautiful hotel inside. Lovely reception and bar area. We were in a great room on the 6th floor with a balcony overlooking Trinity College sports grounds and buildings. We could see The Tree Rock Mountain in the distance. The balcony had a very nice wicker table and two chairs. Comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. Great variety of food for breakfast. The valet parking for €25 a night was a great asset. Though we are aware that there is limited parking there.

Neither of us liked the pillows in the bed. They were far too full! So we slept without them, which isn't great either. The bath was very high to get in and out of when taking a shower. The handle on the wall was a help though. We are both in our very late sixies but thankfully capable of climbing in and out but there are many our age who wouldn't be capable.

I can say without any doubt, the staff at the Trinity City Hotel are the most pleasant and helpful I have met in a very long time;from the gentleman from Ukraine who facilitated check-in for my son and car parking, the Concierge gentlemen from Spain and the Philippines who were so incredibly helpful and friendly and the Brazilian ladies serving at the bar ( "Tayto Crisps?", sorry,a private joke between us ) ,all a credit to the hotel management.Nothing was too much trouble to them; just one example:Myself and my family were attending a function at Trinity College; it was pouring rain and I asked to get access to my car and get my umbrella.... " We can help you with umbrellas " said the Concierge, and produced 3 ! I must not forget either the three Irish guys at the Front of House who were so helpful too .A truly memorable stay thanks to the wonderful staff. The rooms were lovely too. and an excellent breakfast.Thank you ,Trinity City Hotel!

Absolutely nothing!

Very comfortable room/beds. Good location to center city. Restaurants were plentiful and very pretty at the hotel but we did not eat in any. Short walk to Trinity College.

Could not park in the hotel, but was offered half price parking at a lot 10 minutes away (by foot). Not sure if parking at the hotel is included in price, but paid $19 additional per night at external lot. Our room was located right next to a building being constructed. It was so close that when I opened my curtains in the morning, I could wave to the construction workers and they waved back. Be prepared to be awakened at 7AM on the weekday mornings when they begin work.

Food was great and drinks were great. Location was great. Decor was lovely

Got the executive sweet and the room was right beside a construction site where they were banging from 6am. Not ideal after a long flight from the US. Also no fridge in the room. Very strange to not have a small fridge. Useful for medication or keeping your water cool. Also when requested a taxi the receptionist just said they can’t find one? I get it was busy but I’m sure they could call a local taxi service who they’ve given a lot of business instead of relying on an online app. Otherwise was wonderful

Excellent central location. It is right next to a large fire station, however I didn't here and noise at all from it. The room was large. Bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and fairly modern with great water pressure and the temperature of the shower was excellent. Really appreciated the good quality ironing board and iron in the room, and the instant coffee was good quality and flavorsome.

Away from main areas, carpet in high traffic areas (especially in stairs ) was heavily worn, and the areas around the entrance to the room were slightly scruffy, ( not terrible, but didn't match the higher standards of the lovely reception and generally good quality rooms.

Large, very comfortable room and bed with a nice city view from the balcony. Very helpful staff, especially with some parking trouble! Near airport. The restaurant was very nice and absolutely delicious. Wifi was good and steady. I'd stay there again (but not if I were driving).

Getting there. The traffic was very thick and seemingly thousands of people on foot. The promised on-site parking is limited and was already full, so we were diverted to an external car park (extra cost) that, due to a traffic change, was unreachable without making some illegal turns. I gave up after trying to park for well over an hour, and drove back to have the car valet parked.
