The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff was very helpful and professional. The location was excellent.

The Ginger Man pub across the street is getting significant traffic right now because of their Christmas display. The noise from this bar was considerable and continued until the bar closed. On the 5th floor, the noise from the bar could be heard over the TV with the window closed. Then, promptly at 6:30 am on weekday mornings, the construction crew directly below gets started. Once Christmas is over and the construction is over, more than 7 hours of quiet will be possible, and I have no real complaints about the hotel otherwise.

The location in Dublin was convenient for travel to some sights of interest. The local park was great for a midday food truck meal during the week between Tuesday and Thursday. In addition to the good location the hotel has a pillow menu - which is great as my partner has opinions on pillows and we were able to get her a better option to sleep with for her stay (I believe the have 6-8 different pillow options). The hotel is one of three in the area that share an exclusive gym for hotel guests with excellent cardio and weight training equipment. The gym layout, size and weight training equipment was excellent. That gym and the amazing hospitality of the hotel staff earned them a 10/10 for our stay in Dublin. We would gladly stay there again.

We had no complaints for the stay we had at the Davenport.

Liked the location - everything more or less walking distance. Supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping centres all within easy reach. The staff were extremely helpful when suggesting breakfast ideas. With it being over the festive period they also gave us complimentary late check out and made our stay very relaxing and easy. All staff really kind and didn’t ever come across like anything was a hassle. They have a spa area being fitted in at the end of this year - possibly a reason to revisit!

The gym is located over the road- not an issue to be honest as it is well equipped and easy to locate with key card. Did have to ask reception for our room to be cleaned on the 1st January, but to be honest we didn’t really leave the room that day with nothing being opened. Breakfast finishes at 10:30. We didn’t realise this and had to rush and take food to the hotel room on the morning we paid extra for this. The restaurant menu is very basic in the evenings. BUT the food was such good quality and me and my partner emptied both our plates!

Staff were excellent and pleasant. . Rocelin, sorry for the spelling but can't remember how to spell her name was exceptional. We were given an upgrade, pass to executive lounge and bags brought to our rooms. Birthday box of chelated left for my partner, lovely touch and the room was fab with very comfortable bed. Breakfast very good. Couldn't fault the staff or accommodation in any area.Definatly recommend it

Bar closed too early. Went back to hotel at 10.40 sat night and bar was closed. Staff did get us a bottle of wine which was very nice of them but would have liked to have a choice of drink and relax in the bar for an hour. Maybe advise people at check in that this is the case

Reception staff were the friendliest and most accommodating staff I have encountered at any hotel. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location excellent.

Breakfast was good. There was nobody at the breakfast room door when we arrived for breakfast so we went ahead and joined other family members who were already seated. I felt this was frowned upon as we didn't get the same service afforded to us as other tables got such as tea and toast or take away tea/ coffee. We were asked for our room number so it wasn't a case we were undetected.

Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. We were greeted with such warmth and friendliness and the hotel felt very comfortable. Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was simply fantastic - one of the best I've ever slept on - super comfortable! We found Dublin to be a very walkable City, everything was within easy reach and the location of the hotel was ideal with fun pubs and restaurants nearby, but felt just far enough away from the heavy traffic and activity to feel peaceful and serene. The little extras like the executive lounge and bath robes/slippers left a lasting impression and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Davenport for a wonderful stay!

Really hard to think of anything that wasn't perfect, but I did wish the counter top in the bathroom was larger and there was a little more drawer space for clothes.

This charming hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing by both walking and the hop on-hop off bus (DoDublin). The room was generous sized by European standards, comfortable, clean, and attractively furnished. The hotel breakfast was the best I've ever experienced and reasonably priced, especially for the quality and offerings. There is a small restaurant/bar on site with limited menu selections. But, the food was excellent as was the service. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. I would happily stay there again.

It was a perfect stay. No concerns or complaints.

The Davenport is in a prime location, very accessible by car or public transport and within walking distance of most sites in Dublin (National Gallery, Grafton street, St Stephens Green). The rooms are quiet, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Staff was super professional.

There is nothing major I can think about. I am literally splitting hairs by mentioning that I booked a late check-out online and it was not in the system when I checked in. And it was fixed in 2 seconds by staff at reception. They were super flexible.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Bar and restaurant for breakfast are modern and very comfortable. We met a lovely staff member at reception called Rosilex who informed us we were selected for an upgrade. We were upgraded to a spacious Junior Suite with access to an executive lounge for complimentary drinks and snacks. We had a lovely drink before we went out to the rugby game. We also received a delicious complimentary breakfast. The staff were exceptional throughout and very professional. Will definitely return

Comfy bed, fresh nice room with a view. Walk-in shower.

Cleaning erratic, 1st evening no bath robes nor slippers, 2nd no conditioner, 3rd no shampoo or body wash etc. "please clean the room" sign does not seem to mean anything. No vacuuming, floor full of biscuit crumbs etc. "EXECUTIVE LOUNGE" is a joke: windowless small room offering crisps beer and plonk. Real ex lounges offer elegant fingerfood, cheese, etc and a variety of drinks - and there is service...
