October 2023

Aparthotel was actually very good. Every detail was thoroughly considered, you were able to adjust heat level in rooms, so no worries about being chilly in October. I liked the essentials stand at the reception, so you never risk running out of toilet paper, tea, coffee, towels etc. WiFi worked well, the kitchen was, indeed fully equipped and the size of my apartment was quite big.

Shower cabin was very small, and a handle inside it made things even worse. To get hot (or lukewarm) water out of the tap you need to spend 5+ minutes (and a ton of wasted water!). Online check in is a nasty stuff (system didn't like my passport photo I used before, so I had to take a new one from ID card). I doubt if it ever confirms with GDPR. Besides, I booked three months in advance and got spammed every week at three different channels about online check-in (e-mail, SMS, booking cabinet). The standard check in time is only 4 p.m., and if you want to secure earlier check in, they'd charge extra 20€ for 3 p.m. and 30€ for 2 p.m. - and that on the top of already skyrocketing Dublin prices! Way too greedy for what would be a standard check-in at most hotels!

Good location for a short stay. The room met our needs. Location is good, about 20 minutes walk to the Liffey.

The carpet was pretty dirty and covered in hair. Bit of a run down area, pretty rowdy pub opposite the apartment. A bit pricey for what we got.

The location was good...about a 10-15 min. walk to edge of city center (O'connell St.). Very handy location if using the bus #41 to/from airport. There was a small quiet pub across the street and Tesco Express for grocery shopping a couple of blocks away. We made our breakfasts/coffee because the tours were 7:00am starts. Tea bags/coffee pods were provided in the room.

I'm guessing that many Canadian/American guests struggle with turning on the induction stovetops and are also a bit unfamiliar with having to "turn-on" the electric outlets. Directions would have saved time. There were 2 flights of stairs but fortunately we just had carryon.

Really nice rooms and property. The area was easily accessible and in walking distance of the city centre. There were staff in the entrance if needed and there was extra towels etc you could get yourself which was handy.

The bathroom smelt slightly musty and mouldy. The room in general could have been cleaner such as cleaning behind the bed and sofa as they were slightly dusty.

A clean and warm apartment, with a well equipped kitchen for simple meals. Having staff available to assist was a pleasant surprise for this style of apartment. We appreciated having the option of luggage storage, and being given an early checkin as requested. In addition, the staff member changed our room location to accomodate my mobility needs, which was much appreciated.

Unfortunately both nights we were awoken during the night - once by a sensor in the hallway and the next night by conversations with staff members and other guests coming and going outside our room. More consideration needed to be given to this, as it did continue for some time.

We had a lovely welcome from Louisa when we first arrived. We immediately felt that there was someone we could call on If we needed help or assistance..

Although our apartment was spacious and very comfortable (great bed and sofa) it was not cosy - the lighting was either too bright or too dark (one lamp only).

Great property, well equipped and spacious studio flat within walking distance or bus of many attractions. ( Mind you one day we walked 10 and a half miles and saw lots!) Decor is modern but no double glazing or air-conditioning. Was fine for the weather we had Helpful staff, extra toiletries etc available if required. Great attractions, Jamesons, Guinness Storehouse,Rock and roll museum,Dublin Zoo, temple Bar. Don't miss out on Piper's corner for proper traditional Irish music rather that tourist bait. Luggage storage area was great on our last day and the No 41 bus to the Airport is just outside and cost €2.60 to get right to T2

Shower was decent but small. Could do with replacing the grout or putting up shower board but not bad. Weird worktops black with gold flecks that made it look like crumbs, not really a major and I am sure they thought looked great in the catalogue

Very spacious, clean and quiet. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The location was great, easy to get to from the airport and we walked most days into the city. The apartment had normal commodities as well as hair conditioner and body lotion. The kitchen was well equipped and we could get as much coffee, tea as we wished from the staff

We were unaware that we could store our luggage at the property (lockers), a fyi would have been nice but everything worked out in the end without

The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was clean and had amazing facilities. There was a little kitchen which had things like plates bowls etc as well as essentials such as washing up liquid and sponges. The bathroom was clean however the shower was quite small but was fine for a short stay. There was a table to sit at as well as a desk. The bed was comfy and we had 2 great nights sleep! The staff were very accommodating when I requested a late checkout due to illness and were instantly able to ease my worries and solve my request efficiently. The location was very easy to find and a quick 15-20 min bus ride from the centre with buses been very regular. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The only things we would say were that there were no plug sockets near the beds so you couldn’t charge your phones while been sat on the bed which was something we would have preferred. Also the wardrobe was very close to one side of the bed so would have been nice for a bit of extra room for a bedside table or something to put cups and glasses on etc. Finally, the TV only had 6 channels that worked so we were limited with what we could watch

We liked that the apartment was big and nicely equipped. The staff was nice. Very easy check-in and check-out, with the possibility to leave your luggage at the premises.

The fact that the apartment we got was facing the main street and it was quite noisy also during the night. We had issues with the hot water in the bathroom… we either had to wait a lot until is started to get warm (like 10 min) and sometimes we were in the shower and the water completely stopped… it resumed in the end, but it was quite unpleasant.
