Location was excellent. First class communal areas

When we arrived by taxi, there were 3 concierge staff standing by the revolving doors. No one came to the taxi to help us out or to take our luggage. As a 5 star hotel commanding their rate this should have been way more attentive. We did not get a turn down service on our 1st night but we did on our 2nd night. Again, this was not good enough for a Hotel of this standard. The body lotion was not replenished and was small. This should have been done.

Reception check in a bit slow waiting awhile for our room, but i understand its a very busy time could be a bit more friendly if im being over critial. Breakfast the first morning was slow and when i asked for butter was told by the waiter they had none left i repeated the request incase he didnt understand me but was told no we dont have any , i left it a few mins and asked a different staff member and got it promptly. Never got fresh toast when asked for it, waited a good 15mins to get my coffee few minor things and on the second morning service was very good . All small things but need more attention to detail for a good 5 star hotel. But had a lovely stay over all.

Hotel was in an excellent location. We had a very comfortable room with a generous balcony. The staff was fantastic and we did have breakfast every morning in The Saddle Room. The concierge was extremely helpful assisting us in making dinner reservations as well as helping us map out a couple day trips. Everything about the hotel was above average and we will def stay again. The only time we had any issue was one night having nightcaps in The Horseshoe Bar we encountered a rude bartender. We saw him again on Sunday working at the No. 27 bar. We do know his name but don't want to mention it at this time. We had such a great time that we won't let one employee tarnish our impression of this amazing property. We did run into another group that had an issue with this same young man.

Location, staff & view were fantastic! Hotel was very clean and well organised. There was always a member of staff to hand when required.

I couldn't get the temperature of the room right. It was either too hot or too cold. Pillows were too soft/thin (just personal preference though). Shower water pressure could of been better. Quality of the breakfast could of been better for the money even making an allowance that it was a buffet service. Whiskey bar upstairs was very brightly lit even late at night.

Lovely hotel. Stayed at another 5* hotel in Dublin last time & this exceeded that visit. Breakfast was excellent. The staff serving were brilliant, especially on the first morning. And food in the restaurant was great..staff again were excellent.

Although the room was well appointed, the position wasn't great...thank goodness we weren't there in the summer with the Terrace Bar being right outside our window. The room was very hot...& no way of altering the heating/ air-con, on a very mild November weekend! Problems checking in...didn't have my reservation, but had our friends, strange as I booked them both !

This hotel is a gem. Worth the trip. How hotels should be, alive, glamorous, ethernal, elegant. One of the nicest hotels I have ever experienced. The staff is genuinely friendly. Everybody. We had a beautiful room with a beautiful bathroom. All bars and restaurants were charming. I want to go back!

The gym only opened at 8 on Saturday. Choice of TV channels limited. Both things not important.

Very good staff, good bedroom, very good breakfast, excellent parking and luggage service

The Number 27 bar was the only thing we really didn’t like. We went in for lunch. There was a very offputting smell of stale beer. Tables very very basic brown no ‘dressing’ with flower, tea light very basic and uninviting, our kitchen table-scape at home infinitely nicer . The blue paints used have ruined this area. We were a little late so didn’t have time to go for lunch somewhere else. overall lunch on arrival was so disappointing.

A wonderful experience for me n my family great location easy to walk around the city love the members room was great for a late dinner the rooms and bathroom were beautiful loved going for breakfast with the Buffett

ROOMS SPOTLESS ,STAFF 100 PER CENT AND GENERAL AMBIENCE AROUND THE PLACE (INCLUDING THE BARS ETC) IS EXCELLENT .STILL THE TOP HOTEL IN DUBLIN FOR ME -VERY HIGH STANDARDS AND OVERALL EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS

FIRST NIGHT WE WERE IN A VERY NOISEY ROOM -I THINK AN AIR CONDITIONING UNIT WAS RUNNING AT THE GYM ON SAME FLOOR 24X 7.SLEEP WAS THEREFORE VERY DIFFICULT AND WE ASKED TO BE MOVED NEXT DAY WHICH THEY DID WITHOUT QUESTION.BUT THEY MUST KNOW ABOUT THAT -WE CANT BE THE FIRST ONES TO MENTION A PRETTY HIGH PITCHED 'WHIRRING NOISE' -ESPECIALLY IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT .ONLY THING THAT SPOILT OUR STAY AND NEEDS LOOKING AT
