Great stay at hotel canova. It is a 3 star hotel. We reached around 10am and the hotel staff offered us our room way since it was ready then, appreciate this gesture as the air travel was tiring and this was welcoming from the hotel. Hotel is very accessible to the central station and there is a mini Mart near the hotel, two or three shops away,, so very convenient. Just note all stores close around 7pn daily . I was around end September. Had a great time in Milan and highly recommend Hotel Canova

Only one note is that the hotel requests guests to pass the hotel room key whenever we leave for our day tours..since it is a 3 star hotel, it does not require the hotel room key to scan in the lift to access the hotel rooms. Not much security in this aspect

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the bus, train and metro stations. Lovely restaurants and bars all on the same street or within walking distance. Room was always left extremely clean after the cleaners visited. A kettle was provided as well as cups and tea bags.

One of the plugs in the room was hanging off the wall, it looked a little unsafe. Also not a lot of storage space in the room for 3 people. Couldn't fully unpack but not a major issue.

The hotel is located very close to the central train station in Milan and has easy access into the underground tube. The room was a good size especially for 3 people, we had plenty of space. They were also very modern and the bathroom had a lovely walk in shower. The receptionists were always attentive and were pleasant to deal with. I didn’t make it to the breakfast. However, the other 2 did and said it was worth the price.

The only slight issue we encountered was that a bidet was situated right in-front of the toilet and with us all being 6ft it was a bit tight. However, it wasn’t that big of a deal as the rest of bathroom definitely made up for that slight hiccup!

Loved the room, although we had the standard double it did not disappoint the brown laminate look walls with matching built in wardrobe was really nice the huge head board with the ambient lighting around it was nice to. The room was always at the perfect temperature after lots of walking of a day exploring the city and heading into the main city centre we come back and both fell asleep for an hour or so because it was so comfortable. Like most hotels the safe was easy to operate enter your desired code close and press enter and it stores your code to keep your belongings safe. The staff were fantastic rooms absolutely spotless couldn't fault anything. We didn't try the breakfast until the morning we were coming home and that did not disappoint for €15 each there was more than enough for everyone's taste. We loved how close it was to centrale milan train station although it was a 30-35 minute walk to the duomo milan it was worth the walk past all the designer shops. Once we recieved our room key and got to our floor there was 2 maintenance men working outside our room they immediately left and stopped the drilling which I thought was very respectful. If your looking to head into the main city the 60 bus is what you need it's €2 per family and you tap and ride Would 100% use this hotel again highly recommend

Couldn't think of anything I would change

Localization hotel is perfect - ca. 10 mins. walking to Milan Central Station and transfer buses to Malpensa Airport. Fantastic connection to main attractions (metro, city buses) or longer walking (my choice) to Piazza del Duomo. In near hotel area many restaurants. Room was clean with all needs facilities. Very good Wi-Fi connection. Delicious breakfast (anybody find something good - sweet/salty snacks, vege etc., great coffe) in cosy restaurant. Easy and fast check-in/check-out. Friendly and kindly personnel. Thats all made my visit in Italy unforgotable. Grazie mille! :-)

The walls are not soundproof enough. Sometimes was hear noise from neighbours rooms.

It is located in close proximity to all the transport services one might need. 2 mins away from the metro, 5 mins from the railway station and 10 from the airport shuttle bus service. Also, there are many good eating spots around. The staff were really nice, polite and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Just a small tip, the bathroom can enjoy some maintenance/renovation. Water leaks out of the shower. The pin that regulates between using the shower head or the handheld shower squirts water all over the place and the bathroom door jamb is broken.

The hotel location was excellent as it was very near to the central station and another metro station (Republica). Also the place was surrounded by very good restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with the variety of food and bakery (Croissant was unbelievable). Coffee was very good. dining room is very well decorated to give a calming sensation. Staff: very nice people, extremely helpful and polite. The hotel design is very convenient to travelers with lockers at the reception for language keeping after your stay ends.

Sound isolation of the walls and doors was not efficient to keep the noise from other lousy residents. But I have seen that in different hotels in the area.

The room was large and well laid our with a great king size bed and importantly the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was large with lots of storage space and a great big shower. The Hotel is in an ideal location near the main railway station and bus stop from transport from the Airport. the room was clean when we arrived and was cleaned everyday and bed linen and towels changed regularly.

The electrical outlets were all European 2 pin sockets, If this information was added to the details about the rooms and maybe add a picture.
