I had a solo trip and for me was very important to have a safe stay. So I can say, that this hotel is safe and very comfortable. I was so happy about location of the hotel: metro and trains was so close to it. You can walk to the city center easily as well. I need to mention the bathroom. Clean, pretty big, white, good shower and lighting. Also staff was very nice and helpful. And 24/7 reception desk very useful, when you have a night flight and need to check in/out after midnight.

This hotel doesn't have any major disadvantages. Couple minor, but you can deal with it. Bed lighting was quite aggressive, so when you want for example to read the book before sleep, you need to use the ceiling lights.

The hotel is at a great location, very close to the Central Station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The twin-bed room, while not very spacious, was more than big enough for two people. Of facilities, breakfast deserves a special mention -- there is a large abundance and variety of different foods in a self-serve setup.

I only have a few complaints. The biggest problem I had was the rather thin wall separating the room from the corridor, meaning that from the bed closest to the door, the coming, going, talking and door opening/closing from the corridor can be heard well. A smaller one is the lack of a wardrobe in the room.

Roberto at the front desk, the lady at breakfast (unfortunately, I didn't get her name), and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, just a block or so from the Central Station and few steps to the subway. The room was quiet, as I got an upgrade for an internal small garden view. The area was safe, my biggest concern as I was traveling by myself. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, with a touch of modern/classic features that I enjoyed. The bedroom and bathroom were big and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I strongly recommend this hotel.

I liked everything!

Location is perfect! It’s only a couple of minutes walk from the central station. I travelled by train and this accommodation worked perfectly for me for arrival and departure from Milan. There’s also metro station near this place and I found many lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing! They have a great buffet breakfast with a lot of different options. Particularly dessert options were truly amazing. Breakfast staff was always warm and welcoming. They were really positive and helpful.

Front desk person was not as friendly and positive as the staff at the breakfast.

The staff at reception were extremely helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and Igor made sure our room was ready as soon as possible. Initially our family were in different parts of the hotel and he organised for us to be together. There was a small courtyard with tables and chairs where we could sit and relax. The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. The rooms were very clean and provided an electric kettle and small fridge.

The beds weren't that comfortable. They were a bit hard would have benefitted from a mattress topper.

The bedding was obviously clean and fresh. The room was super quiet even though it was next to the elevator (which is for one person only). The windows were double pained and the with the addition of the metal shade, it was silent at night. We got a very needed good night's sleep. The desk manager was very helpful with the garage, restaurant, everything was made easy by him and was appreciated.

The room was tiny, really the size of a nice walk in closet. And the same for the bathroom. I could see using the toilet would be very difficult if someone was overweight, it was that wedged into a tight space.

We liked the location a lot. Good restaurants around, close to Milano Centrale. So you can go to anywhere very easily.

Very Noisy. The cleaning team starts very early and the walls are very thin, so you hear anything that happens on the corridors and on other rooms. On our first stay, the guy at the desk ask us for our passports and asked us to come back in 20 minutes to get them back, after processing the info, I found it very suspicious, but I went to the room and came back in less than 10 minutes, the guy had lost it, and took another 10 minutes to find it lost somewhere on his desk. On the second stay (at the end of the same week) I didn´t let the documents alone with him and waited for him to process in front of me...took 5 minutes. So, be careful with that.

They allowed us to check in early which was a godsend after coming off of a very long flight and travel day. The rooms were super clean and the bathrooms were spacious for Europe. The best part is the proximity to the city center train station. Only about 5 minutes away from the station so no dragging luggage around, which is why we chose this place. We hopped on the train at the airport, took it to city center, and walked 5 minutes to our hotel. Yay! Worked great when catching the train to our next destination as well!

Great location, less than 5 min. walk from Milano Centrale. I would choose this hotel again just because of the location. Reception was friendly & helpful. The facilities & room is generally clean. Room is on the smaller side, but has all that is needed, looks like shown on the pictures. Bed is comfortable. WiFi is OK. All in all, pleasant stay.

Small elevator (only fit 2 people at a time), so we just take the staircase sometime. Wall is quite thin, so you do hear people / other guests on the corridor especially if they are loud.

I've stayed in 3 different hotels (3&4*) in Milano Centrale before Bernina, and this is the one I'm going to stick with. Friendly staff, homely feel, decent size room, clean, comfy bed, everything works is functional and in the "right" place (TV, plugs, bedlights, WiFi in room, etc). And you get a kettle too! Toiletries and tea/coffee sachet are minimal but as a 3 star it's more than good enough (most people carry their own anyway). Also windows have full roll down blinds, no light coming through that once they're down. And as my room was facing the courtyard it was very quiet too, anyway the road the hotel is on it's not a busy one anyway
