We stayed here only one night - so we truly did not take advantage of the breakfast. (The week before we had stayed on the other side of the bridge as well). The best part of this hotel is the location and the worst part, also location for the noise level this time of year. It truly is in the heart of activity and convenient to everything touristy. (Think Times Square NYC) The room was very comfortable, bright, clean and a venetian style look. The staff were very nice, and helpful greeting us, getting our bags to the room and getting us set up for an airport water taxi in the early morning. Upon arrival to the hotel we had come from the train station and took the ACTV water bus a couple stops to put us in front of our hotel. Overall --- this is about location --- lots of activity and restaurants abound.

Having made this a second stop in Venice and second time staying by the Rialto bridge --- I realize how truly noisy the area is --- even with windows shut. Luckily the hotel had AC --- which allowed us a more comfortable sleeping situation and a nice cool room. Our previous Rialto bridge hotel did not have their AC turned on yet --- which made it uncomfortable and a little stuffy at night.

We enjoyed returning to the Rialto Hotel to celebrate our anniversary. The facility is as beautiful as it was 26 years ago when we honeymooned there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the wait staff exceptional (especially Bruna). We inquired at the front desk about going to Murano and we were told that they provide the water taxi service to the island. We loved the panoramic terrace! It was nice to go up there after a long day of sightseeing and watch the activity on the Grand Canal.

Room only had a closet for clothing and no dresser. It's a little difficult to live out of a suitcase for 3 nights.

The location was spectacular, literally right next to the Rialto Bridge. Our original room was on the 1st floor and I asked if they had anything higher. They put us on the 3rd floor and our room was canal/ Rialto Bridge facing. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast was delicious with a large variety. You could eat inside or out. Doing it again, I would take the big public boat taxis as it drops you right at the hotel. We walked to see everything and get the lay of the land which turned out to a lot of up and down over canals. There is also remote balcony at the hotel to sit out and look over the canal. To improve the balcony, I think the hotel should have a mini bar up there.

Would have taken the public water taxi to get there rather than walk.

The staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful! They always were quick to assist us, and did everything in their power to help us! The view of Rialto Bridge from the panoramic terrace is also very beautiful. They offer a very nice breakfast in the morning that could satisfy any picky eater! Would highly recommend this place to others.

The WiFi isn’t great and quite spotty. The Air conditioning isn’t very strong, so we requested two additional oscillating fans to move the air around in the room. Warning to older travelers, the hotel has quite a few stairs even on the first floor. We stayed in room 137, which had multiple staircases totaling 52 steps.

Perfect location. No walking down dark alleyways to find your hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, especially Jade at breakfast. They were very busy but nothing was too much trouble. Well organised for Covid restrictions. You simply tick on a sheet of paper with what you would like everyday. I ate mine with a view of the Rialto bridge. What could be better?! Room comfortable with everything you need. Obviously there isn't a view unless you pay for it, but just go outside! They do have a panoramic terrace and both times I went up there I only had the pigeons for company. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. But just a reminder you get what you pay for. The other thing worth mentioning is that the boat service to the airport leaves from about 3 minutes walk away. Direct to the airport in under an hour for 15 Euros October 2021. Do check times and departure point as these may vary with the season.

I really can't think of anything negative about this hotel. I did overhear someone saying they had not got a view and opened the window to look at a wall and so she felt like she was in a prison. But remember this is Venice and space is limited. The hotel is in such a good location so either pay a huge sum of money to get a view or simply go onto the panoramic terrace or step outside.

The location was amazing right near the Rialto bridge on the Grand Canal . The staff were very friendly and helpful . Our room was spacious and clean and the air conditioner worked wonderfully well . They allowed us to check in a little early. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the grand canal was a fantastic way to start the day and relaxing on the roof top terrace in the evening was a fantastic way to finish the day! The hotel offered an unexpected free tour to Morano which was excellent ! Overall we would highly recommend Hotel Rialto .

Everything about the hotel was very good. The breakfast was excellent, giving a good balance between Continental and an Italian twist on an English breakfast. The location could not have been better. Perfect for everything we wanted to do. The rooftop terrace was an added bonus. The staff were wonderful.

The room was a little smaller than we thought it would have been, which was fine for our needs but just meant that there was a lack of comfortable seating. This was then compounded by the bed, which was rock hard and, as people used to a softer bed, very uncomfortable. But these are niggles.

Everything. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Everything I need it it was taking care of inmediately. Breakfast will satisfied any one. There was American, British breakfast as well as French and Italian style. The girls who serve breakfast were attentive, professional and sooooo nice. The room I originally stayed was dripping water from the A/C but I was transferred to another room, which was very beautiful. The hotel is on the Gran Canal and the minute you step out of the hotel you feel like you are in a movie. The view is breathtaking and literally next to the Rialto Bridge. I loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff are are very courteous and helpful. But what makes this hotel stand out (at least from our experience) is (a) location - the hotel is so centrally located you can reach the must-see places by walking for a few minutes. It's a 10min walk (less if you walk fast) to the to the water bus station that takes you to Murano/Burano Islands (b) breakfast - they have a wonderful lady there with a beautiful smile (forget to ask her name) that greets you every morning and makes sure you have everything you need. the buffet breakfast itself is superb - everything you need to prepare for a long day ahead. We highly recommended the hotel. If you are in Venice check out this one.

We had a lost in translation moment with the booking that the hotel was nice enough to resolve. The rooms were amazing, very comfortable with a lovely canal outlook.

The restaurant fronting the canal - first meal in Venice! Not sure if it is connected to the hotel. Ordered a lasagna, cold. Grumpy staff when asked for it to be warmed up. Nuked it in the microwave. Dumped the flattened overcooked dish on the table... A nice welcome to Venice moment. Thankfully all other restaurants in Venice were amazing with beautiful home cooked food. Food outside the hotel was definitely one of the highlights.
