Room was spacious with 3 windows looking over a canal, with air con, hair dryer, WiFi, comfortable bed in a traditional style. Staff was friendly, warm, we got everything explained at the arrival. Location is in a quiter area, but only few steps away from a very lively Via Garibaldi street with Coop convenience store and plenty of bars and restaurants. Hotel is also only few minutes away from the nearest vaporetto/actv/waterbus.
There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel. If you are not very demanding, this place is decent and cosy enough.

Great location for the Biennale and restaurants in Castello, and close to St Mark's Sq. Accommodation is more hostel-like than hotel-like, but authentic old Venice, comfortable and very clean. Staff are lovely and so helpful. We forgot our plug adaptor and the hotelier kindly lent us one for our whole trip. Also, they accommodated our late flight by minding our bags in left luggage all day.
Provision of expected hotel items like shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, and bigger towels. The facilities were spare, but adequate.

The place is very quiet and pleasant, I travelled alone and I think this is perfect place to stay. The personal is very friendly, helpful and responsive, they provide all the information. The room is clean and modest, matches the photos. The location is good, close to restaurants and main Venice's attractions. I liked there were towels, sink and soap in the room. The hotel has its own closed cozy courtyard where you can sit and relax. Thank you! I really enjoyed my visit.
One day Wi-Fi didn't work for some reason

Located at a walking distance from piazza San Marco, the room is nothing special but more than enough for the price. I visited in winter and it was pretty warm in the room, bathroom was just a few steps away from the room and very clean (though it takes a while for the water to warm up, so better turn it on a few minutes before stepping into the shower). The area seems pretty calm and the window overlooks a closed courtyard, I guess it may save one from all the noise in high season

Location was good, far from the city centre, but close enough to the touristical attractions. It was well-designed, beautiful, quite, clean and the receptionist was so kind. The shower, wifi, and safe box were great.
It cost more than it was worth, but considering that we were in the high-season, looks normal. The pillows were too thin and uncomfortable, I think they need to be changed.

The location of the hotel is very nice, to my taste. It's really close to Arsenal and Giardini, and via Garibaldi with shops and restaurants, but it's the area where real Venetians live. At the same time, it's about 20 minutes walk to San Marco. We got a nice room (surprisingly big for Venice), with a beautiful view of the canal. The beds were hard and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. And there is a lovely garden, where we've spent the late evenings with a glass of wine.
It's not a 5-star hotel, so there is only basic stuff in the room (no fridge, for example, or kettle (but Valter provided it upon request). The smell in the room is pretty stale, but I guess it's a typical problem for Venice, and luckily, one gets used to any smell in about 3 minutes. )

I had room nr. 22, a room with a double bed, there was a wardrobe with hangers and a safe, a sink with soap, and a desk with a chair, 2 windows. It was clean, smelled good, they gave me 2 towels. Comfortable bed, spacious room. There was a communal bathroom with a toilet and shower, I never had to queue for it, it was clean and very big. There was a separate shower cabin opening from the hallway. The front-desk person was very kind and helpful, I could leve my luggage there for hours. Once you have your key, you can leave and arrive 24/7. On the first floor there's a lounge area with a dozen of antique furniture a books, it looks incredible, with a good view outside. It was very easy to find if you follow Goggle Maps. It is located at a safe area. I could get to everywhere, very calm area, lots of stores and restaurants 5 minutes away. If i come back, I would stay here again
My key for my room was a bit off, it was hard to open it and close it, and it was a bit noisy to crack it open, but it was manageable.

it may be a little bit further from the city centre but it’s in a very quiet part of Venice which we appreciated a lot. plus, you’re in Venice so even if you’re not in the city centre you’ll see beautiful things all around. we were in a room with a shared bathroom and we had no issue with it. it was always super clean and if it was busy, we were able to use the one downstairs. it may not be a modern hotel but it’s beautiful and it has everything you need. loved the big room on the first floor with vintage furniture.

We got into a difficult situation because the accommodation what we booked turned out to be a scam and was just trying to steal money from our account. One hour before our arrival in Venice, we suddenly had nowhere to stay. We were almost a thousand km from our home. Booking offered us possibility of the accommodation in the hotel Levanda S. Maria. The owner Mr. Vlater was incredibly helpful and had no problem accepting our 2 dogs into the room. We arrived around 9 pm and he was waiting for us. We planned a little more luxorious accommodation before our trip, but in the end we enjoyed our stay anyway. The room was cleaned every day and Mr.Valter advised us where to walk the dogs (the nearest park was about 300m) and helped us with all our annoying questions with a smile. He is the right person and takes care of his guests as his own family. Although the hotel has older facilities, it is very clean, well-kept, in the perfectly quiet location and yet within walking distance of the main sights. The vaporetto is also a short walk away. The bed was as if cut from the glorious Venetian times. The enclosed relax courtyard with seating was also very nice. Moreover, pleasant surprise from the hotel on our departure was the discount card for parking in Tronchetto, which saved us 22% of the total price of the parking.
It would take a longer vacation. :-) Maybe a small fridge in the room would be useful, but that must be taken into account and not every accommodation has this. You can't have everything for so a good price.

Room was very comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms were a tiny bit small and instead of doors there is a sliding partition, but that didn't affect us much. Wifi was good and the location was also away from the main areas which was delightful as Venice is very crowded nowadays. To reach the hotel, you need to take water bus 5.2 or 4.1 from the St. Lucia train station and it takes about 40 mins.
No lifts in the hotel, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down. It would be good to have doors in the bathroom.
