This place is amazing! It's close to St. Mark's Square but tucked away from the crazy. Easy to get to, quick walk from the water. We booked the 2 bedroom with balcony/patio. It has very large rooms and was very comfortable. Loved that some of the furniture was original. Breakfast was continental, mostly breads, and was delicious. Strong AC, comfy beds, large bathrooms. No blinds, so maybe bring an eye mask if you don't want to wake up with the sun. You can't go wrong staying. here. It was incredible.

We loved the location of this hotel. We also loved the size - everything was grand, including our room - you could tell it was once a beautiful residence. The size of the garden, for Venice, was exceptional. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning in the garden room.

We were not contacted to let us know that a previous notification about a need to put us in a different hotel, had not been necessary afterall. We didn't find out about the change of plan until we arrived at the other hotel. A bit confusing after a long trip. All was resolved in the end and we had a great stay at the hotel.

Location was great and staff were super friendly and helpful - both leading up to and during the stay. The room was incredible - massive and with paintings in the ceiling and walls and my own terrace.

A couple of maintenance issues - toilet flush kept getting caught. Was fixed each time, but would have been good to only have to ask once. It was a big room and only one of the aircons worked. It still cooled the room but wasn’t quite enough during the heatwave.

The hotel is quiet with a beautiful garden - rare for Venice and provides a lovely retreat from the city. Our bed was comfortable and continental breakfast was very nice with an ample selection of food. There were several good restaurants in the vicinity (reasonable price), ATM and local shops selling drinks/snacks. Joey at Reception was great - very friendly and knowledgeable; he always gave us a cheery welcomed back!

The shower was a bit tricky - it was a little difficult to get the temperature correct.

All is top. The room was comfortable and really quiet. Even the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. Hotel Personal are so helpful and always welcoming and smiling. The breakfast in garden in great and the hotel is near to San Marco and vaporetto stops.

WLAN was really really weak. We used our data even in the hotel room. But I think this is a general thing in this hotel and they’re trying to fix it. the toilet seat is a bit higher than normal but I think the hotel already mentioned that.

I loved the room size, location, and general facilities. The garden was awesome and staff were great. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast wasn’t super fancy but there was variety. Neighborhood had great options for shopping and dining that are far enough from the tourist traps to be enjoyable and feel authentic.

The wifi was more or less nonexistent in our room. The most reliable connection was in a little sitting room across from our room.

The building itself is traditional, lots of Old Venice atmosphere. But the rooms are clean, renovated, comfortable. It was also very quiet, especially at night. Lovely breakfast area, and we did sit by the garden, despite cold December weather! Our three night stay for our 50th wedding anniversary was very good value for money, even with the addition of Prosecco in an ice bucket, which we had asked for on arrival. All that just round the corner from S.Marco, and the Vivaldi Church, with beautiful walks and canals all around. But our star point was the quality of the service - we spotted a problem with the auto lock on our door, mentioned it to the cleaner after breakfast, and by the time we were going out, the handyman had turned up with tools to sort it out! Fantastic!!

All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and quick to respond to any requests before and during our stay. The hotel is in a traditional, elegant style. We had a pleasant, cosy yet spacious, very private and comfortable room in its own outbuilding with private patio in the very large garden. In warmer, drier weather the garden room would have been more desirable. Excellent location for the Biennale.

We hadn't realised when booking our room would be in the outbuilding We would have preferred to have been in the lovely main building. Breakfast seating extended onto a covered patio. This only just sufficed for comfort on a cold wet and stormy morning.

This is a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Venice. Checkin was great with friendly, helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and well furnished and functional for an old building. If you are arriving by train (as we did) get a water taxi to the hotel. Whilst the cost might seem extravagant it was so nice to be introduced to Venice this way, we loved it.

We can't think of anything - we'd definitely stay again.

Excellent breakfast ( typical continental style) in quantity, variety and quality. Bedroom very comfortable but a little austere. Great en suite shower! View spoiled by renovation work on the Church of Sant Antonio, but obviously not the hotel's fault. Lovely garden at rear - very large for Venice. Very helpful staff - we needed to leave early for the airport and had a breakfast box provided. ( included in the price)
