This place is massive. So that provides two things when you’re next to an airport: availability and quiet. I loved the fact that there were so many rooms available when we were stranded feeling helpless last week with the United airlines fiasco. The staff is incredibly kind and super helpful. We had an issue with our room and booking and the front desk staff made arrangements immediately to help rectify everything. The breakfast was also superior with an amazing buffet. The coffee at the Starbucks (in the lobby) was quite satisfying! Also to note? They have MULTIPLE gyms - so you can use whatever is most convenient!

I will say it is definitely off putting that entering a room and seeing hair/nail clippings in the shower, but it was fine, we were immediately moved to a new room and they made sure everything was okay before they left. I was a bit disappointed that our TV didn’t work at all - no reception for any channel. I did notify the front desk about it, but I don’t think they had time during the day to get it sorted out - not a huge deal though - I wasn’t there to watch tv!

Dining room buffet had a variety of food options. Food staff was friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable. As a solo traveler I would stay at this location in the future. Check-in and check-out process was uncomplicated.

I'm a non-smoker but was able to smell cigarette smoke through the air vents. The key card rarely worked when leaving the parking lot. Thankfully, there was a help button located on the pad which allowed me to speak with someone. Staff opened the gate once I provided my name and room number. No microwave in room.

The airport is right across the street. We live in Kent, and we booked a one night stay-cation to do a little plane spotting. It was perfect.

I have visited this hotel many times since the 80s. It is a shame to see how time has changed it. Believe me, it is still a good stay, but on a much smaller scale. I'm guessing that due to covid and cost cutting measures, it is less. The cookies are still heavenly but much smaller. The food is still splendid, but the restaurants are limited. We had fun, and I still have my memories.

This is an older hotel but the rooms are huge and well-appointed. I like that the family suite had an extra sink in the second bedroom, which is where I moved the coffee maker. I also loved that each room had a balcony. It was a far walk to the pool and lobby but it had covered indoor walkways so it was an easy trip.

I hate paying for parking when I'm already paying a lot for a room. No breakfast was included and the restaurant and coffee shop were expensive.

The bar tender at the restaurant was amazing. I had a rough series of events that led me to have to get a hotel for the night. He was so great and really changed my night around for me. Kudos to his attitude, professionalism, and excellent recommendations for both food and beverages.

My room was very hot when I got us there, but cooled off when I went to grab some food. I also wish there would have been a chair or table and chairs on the balcony.

Proximity, the cookies are absolutely a lovely, delicious touch, staff was amazing, accessible to a coffee shop and restaurant inside, pool, great gym

It's very dated and when you have some thing that's old and dated it looks quite dirty. Looks like no one's clean the windows in ages and I noticed there was somebody's dirty room service dishes that sat out for two days.

It was a Taylor Swift consearch weekend with lots of other stuff going on, so it did take a little bit to get checked in. You probably need more staff for weekends like that. They were amazing, though, and so helpful. And of course, it was gonna be busy, so nothing bad about that. Just a suggestion. I do wish it had free breakfast that came along with your stay.

The location and shuttles to and from the airport. The bed was comfortable. Bar and restaurant on site were great. Staff at front desk were accommodating and very friendly.

The hot tub was small and always filled with young teen girls floating on rafts. They never got out. The man who drove us to the airport in the black van was somewhat rude and dumped us at the first spot he could. He never asked what airline. He was more focused on the man that rode in the front seat from the hotel staff that jumped out of the van at a red light to presumably pick up a car for him.

The Doubletree was willing to store my luggage for free because I had a very late flight and wanted to explore Seattle. Even though I had checked out, I still got a courtesy shuttle to the airport. This is a very large property, and the desk staff provided an excellent map and the signage was readily available. This hotel goes above and beyond!

Layout could be complicated, top-floor restaurant was still closed, parts of room were obviously very dated, and getting them to reserve a room for me that specifically overlooked the airport was pretty frustrating. I think it took at least six calls and then they still put me in one with a Mountain View instead, but they did fix it when I called down again. Also, the restaurant food was overpriced and mediocre quality. Also, the machine to let us out of the parking lot wouldn’t work at first, and they didn’t tell us we needed to keep the room keys to open it.
