We loved the size of the rooms (interconnecting Deluxe King and Twin), the design/furnishings, and outlook toward the Imperial Palace Gardens. The bathrooms were great, the location was fantastic, my husband had a massage- he said it was fabulous, and the in room dining (various meals), and tapas/champagne special offer in the Lobby Lounge- which we chose also during our stay, were also all absolutely wonderful: The best part of our stay though- all staff were exceptional- we spent a month travelling around Japan and this was the end of our journey- the Shangri La Tokyo staff were the best of the best - level of service and friendliness was so amazing and will always be remembered. We loved our stay.

Whilst we enjoyed the in-room dining, I felt the cost of meals on the menu was far too high. For bedding, no top sheet and only just doona/quilt for cover- was also surprising for this standard of hotel.

It was our second visit after ten years. We were grateful that they kept the facility neat: it brought back nice memories. The scent of the hotel from the reception to the room is phenomenal. We appreciated the sufficient number of towels provided for the stay;-) Pleasantly surprised to find out that our room was tidied up and prepared for sleep in the evening while we were away.

Although it has the mirroring function on the TV, it did not work. I was saddened to find out that the teapot cap felt sticky possibly/hopefully from honey(?).

the location is unbeatable for us for leisure travel being at Tokyo station the room size and amenities, the views from room breakfast was excellent although it got a bit chaotic at times

breakfast could be overwhelming the room cleaning service at times was overly intrusive and could be improved upon

Centrally located in business district with easy access to metro for travel to all tourist spots. Right next to Tokyo main station. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Room excellent (corner suite) with fantastic views of Tokyo, use of Club lounge and facilities. Staff very attentive and helpful.

Nothing bad the gym Just one more space to free exercise with the mirror for dance or yoga ex. Just i wish There was one and it is good place to stretch, but when i was using it, the other did not use even i can share it.

Staff went above and beyond, always smiling, when we asked for something it was brought up very quickly. Luggage taken up to room, could also leave it there after we checked out. View was spectacular.

Very little vegan food available

I went there with my child and we enjoyed using their swimming and spa a few time. We saw Tokyo Sky Tree from our window. We loved how the room was spacious and tasty breakfast.

I wish we could eat breakfast at the lobby lounge like the last time, but it was in-room breakfast. It seemed that there were less variety in breakfast this time since I remember having little Chinese soup, shumai, salad, and yogurt when we stayed there last time. But anyway, breakfast was very tasty.

A to Z everything was fabulous I was truly amazed by the quality of everything specifically the staff... Truly the nicest and kindest people I have met globally

Absolutely everything was perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the restaurant is excellent and service is amazing. Close to Ginza for the shopping!

1. Weak bath shower pressure 2. Limited variety of TV channels 3. No movies to choose from 4. It wasn’t the Shangri-La that I know from Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. Japan should at least copy them.
