It’s a quiet area in the jungle, about 15-20 from Chichen Itza. The breakfast is good, unlike others say on the reviews it’s a pretty standard included breakfast in Mexico (coffee, toast, fruit, yogurt). One of the pools was very clean and nice to hang out in. The room was cute and spacious. Overall just cool to spend the night there and then head to see Chichen in the morning.

There are two pools, the one that is in all the pictures with the hammocks is not cleaned regularly I don’t think. So that was a bummer.

Hotel staff was very nice , unfortunately due to season and hot weather we had so many insect and spiders bugs in our room . It is no fault of the hotel rooms are located at the heart of the forest . At the check out card machine won’t work and hotel won’t accept sterling ( only American dollars) We had to drive to be g town to get cash bank won’t accept English sterling , ATm machine is not English language we had to draw cash from our credit card to pay the bill . It is a very touristic area I would accept atleast bank to operate with all currencies. Hotel manager was very apologetic

Mosquitos and bugs everywhere, at the restaurant they were flying in to our food . Made it difficult to eat there .

This hotel was such a wonderful place to be. Set back from the main road, with all the buildings nestled in the trees. We stayed in the suite and it was so lovely for the price. Staff were very helpful and sweet. The upper pool area was very relaxing and we had lunch served to the beach beds. Not sure what’s going on with the bigger lower pool, looked a bit dilapidated but didn’t bother us because we used the other one. You need a car there. We went to Chichenitza one morning at 8:30 and beat the crowds, it’s about 10 mins away by car.

2 nights in a row, no white wine. Kinda annoying when you’re eating a nice meal.

It’s surrounded by jungle and consequently appealingly quiet! Our room was roomy and comfortable. the swimming pools-one has a depth of 5 feet, the other is more of a wading pool. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

The included breakfast consisted if warm coffee, served from a thermos decanter, which is often predictive of a luke warm beverage. We were given a plate of fruit, a basket of bread, marmalade and butter. So I suppose this might be considered a continental-like breakfast. It would have nice to have a coffee maker in our room.

Nice location in the middle of forest. You need car or taxi to get there but then you can enjoy silence. Nice swimming pool. Friendly staff in restaurant. Good breakfast.

Wifi only covers restaurant and reception areas. At breakfast only water is served additionally to coffee. At 5stars some juice or so would be expected.

Huge room, nice pool. Friendly supportive staff. Dream-location near the temples, with the sounds of the jungle. Restaurant appeared to be very good and we returned there even. We don't do that normally. Also, during the day you can have lovely snacks/drinks at the pool which is great when you come back after some hours at Chichen Itza, which is really nearby and you can be there, long before the crowds come. We loved it !

wifi at restaurant only. this could be better in the 21th century. 2nd pool not open. not ok as they advertise it. 1st pool is great and not crowded though cleaning under furniture should be better. hunting for a spider I found things under the furniture I didn't expect there

Lovely place in the forest, nice infinite pool and outdoor areas. We stayed in a superior room and it was large, cute and comfortablel Food at ghe restaurant was ok. Conveniently close to Chichén itza so we actuallu got there and had a few hours to explore before the crowd arrived!

Unfortunately some areas look abandoned and need serious maintenance, like the pool with the hammocks. Watch out for the huge mosquitoes and double check the opening times of the restaurant, they close very early at night.

Fantastic location in woodlands, great access to the local amenities, great places for a few days to switch off and enjoy the natural surroundings, would have been nice to spend more time there. Rooms, we stay two nights the first in a basic room the second in a junior bungalow just a bit bigger but basically the same. Love the way they are built with no corners. For our bad luck the frogs kept us awake with there singing, I did notice in the morning the chap was moving them out of the river area.

Restaurant was trying to do to much western food, for me tacos and real Mexican food would have been better.

the location was amazing.

we had no wifi in the room, only in the restaurant. the featured pool was not open. the hotel did give us a discount on our food and drinks to compensate us - but we would have preferred the facilities! the bathroom is open to the room - so when sharing the space there is no privacy for changing, although that wasn’t a massive problem really. the main issue with the bathroom was the WC - which would not flush. luckily we were only there overnight and we used the restaurant toilets at breakfast.

Very friendly staff in the kitchen. Air conditioning was nice. Grounds were very nice.

It would be nice to add some bird/hummingbird feeders and a butterfly garden. Pool was dirty with weeds growing out of cement. Lounge chair was torn and old.
