Close to Chichen Itza. Nice swimming pool. Green surroundings. Maya flair.
It's a shame the old quick walking entrance to the Maya ruins is no longer in person. Though you're just meters away, you have to drive five minutes and pay for parking.

Room and hotel were lovely and very quiet. I didn't go in the pool but it looked clean and inviting.
I do not like the way the hotel charges. When I booked on Booking.com it showed me a price of 1572 pesos (with a members discount). They did not honor that price. Instead I was charged 2200 pesos and they gave me a 10% discount. I just think the true price should be disclosed on booking.com. Minor complaints: There was a smell (septic?) outside my room.....no way to open the window in the room to get fresh air....

Excellent facility and location. 5 min drive to the entrance of Chichen Itza. There is a very nice pool with a very pretty garden surrounding it. Very tranquil. You can have meals poolside at the restaurant. They offered a dinner and breakfast for $550 MEX ($30 USD) per person. The food was surprisingly good and the convenience was unbeatable, especially having breakfast right at the hotel to get to Chichen Itza early (which is essential!).
Not uncommon in Mexico, the beds where rock hard. Very firm mattress on a cement bed. Also, the air conditioning blew directly over the bed, which meant I had to toggle it on and off over the course of the night. Not a great nights sleep.

It's a cute, rustic hotel that has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great and the restaurant has even vegetarian options that you can veganize. The vegetation is gorgeous and if you have a clear night, you can stargaze pretty good since there's no ligh pollution.
It's not the hotel's fault so I don't count it against: The back entrance to Chichén Itzá is closed, and therefore, you'll have to call a cab to get to and from the archeological site. However, you can also rent bikes but driving on the small highway, didn't feel too safe. The price of the food and beverages is high for what it is. I highly recommend bringing lots of water with you.

This is the perfect stay for people intending to visit Chichén Itza as early birds (which I strongly recommend). The hotel looks great, there is a large pool in the middle of the hotel area which makes a great place for leisure and vacation photos.
Near the hotel pool there are frogs that won t stop screaming for the entire night. I do not recommend this hotel to people needing perfect silence in order to sleep. Otherwise, it is a great stay.

Highly recommend! The hotel is absolutely charming with cute, comfortable rooms and a beautiful courtyard with birds and geckos flitting about. The staff were wonderful and helpful. The restaurant has good food and fairly wide selection. The food prices are tourist-level so don't expect a bargain meal (those can be found a few miles down the road in Piste.). The staff will tell you that wifi is not available in the rooms, only the common areas, but our rooms must have been right by an antenna because we had no problems. There are no TVs in the rooms which didn't matter to us. The pool is lovely and the library has a fooseball and billiards table (checkout balls the the front desk (free)) as well as a Smart TV. Apparently there used to be direct walking access to Chichen-Itza but that is not available anymore. Still, it is a short, 5 minutes drive to the main entrance and parking area ($80MXN) if you get there early enough to get a spot. We left the hotel at 0740 and were the third car in the lot and in the gate right as they opened. I think most people only stay one night here but we stayed two, spending the afternoon after visiting the ruins at a cenote about 20 minutes away and having dinner in Piste. Great experience!
If the main thing you are looking for in a hotel is very hot water and great water pressure in the shower, this place will be a disappointment. The water got warm, not hot and the water pressure was weak but serviceable. Also the rooms do not have mini fridges so if you have food with you, make sure it's in sealed containers/bags to prevent ants (it's the jungle after all.)

I don't know why this place isn't higher rated. It was lovely. It was close to the Chichen Itza grounds in a lovely remote spot. Very quiet. The place is very nice with a good size pool, dining on premises and nicely landscaped. We parked our car on site without worrying about vandalism. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We were afraid that being the only game in town would make it expensive but it was not. Drinks were also reasonable. The room was basic and the beds were more comfortable than I expected when I first saw them. You could walk out of our room and jump in the pool which is in the center of the complex. I wish we had stayed longer it was by far the nicest place we stayed in the Cancun area and the other places had higher ratings which I don't understand. There were no tv's in the room, but there was a community room with a large screen tv (I believe they had cable and Netflix, but did not check that), snooker table, legos and games.
I think it is a good place for a couple of days, but there is nothing nearby except the ruins, so spending longer here might not be the best option. The morning lady at the desk could smile a bit. She certainly wasn't rude but didn't convey and enjoyment of seeing you.

The staff was absolutely fabulous!! They connected us with a guide who made our trip an unforgettable experience. Truly extraordinary! The setting/grounds are relaxing and lovely, an oasis of tranquility. And the meals were delicious! Also, very convenient to Chichen Itza ruins. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here, and we're so glad we did!!!

Beautiful, magical place. Clean and comfortable, exquisite decorations and relaxing massage. Great restaurant except for breakfast buffet — a lá carte is much better.
Only thing was that the gate to Chichén Itzá is still closed. Otherwise would have been perfect to walk back from the ruins!

Beautiful and idyllic Mexican style, close to Chichen Itza, helpful staff, cozy rooms, great place to take a break from the daily grind and electronics, large pool and comfortable lounge chairs, staff arranged massages on-site
No TV in the room (was also nice not to have the TV), the restaurant was not always open for lunch, nowhere close by to buy bottled water or snacks, our backs hurt after every night of sleep
