Location within the city was great. Breakfast was good but buffet did not include omelettes.However the lady at the breakfast quickly accomdated boiled eggs on the house (rating 10/10) Star service - Male Asian staff who assisted me in getting my luggage to and from reception for verifying the luggage weight a day before check out (rating 10/10). Arthur the concierge was very helpful and friendly ( rating 10/10).

I wanted a room facing the sky tower but did not get it due to unavailability when checking in. I did not enquire again for it as I got busy.I had booked for a wake up call for the checkout morning with Indian male staff (I think his name was Pritik) but did not receive the wake up call. Lucky I had set my alarm on the phone as a back up (rating 5/10).

I liked the location mainly because it was close to everything. Our stay was really good and we enjoyed every bit of our stay.

Just for future reference, their was a blood stain on one of the bottom sheets, so just for next time double check the sheets before covering the bed. Since it was hot we just slept on top of the sheets. The app that we were supposed to order stuff for didn't work. We couldn't book anything coz it wouldn't go through. Other than that we just enjoyed our stay instead of making a fuss.

Room was quiet, clean and comfy.

I tried to book an extra night when checking in and was informed by staff that this had been done. However it hadn't. This resulted in my room card being cancelled, which restricted my access to my phone charger which was required. It also resulted in my workmate having to change rooms. It also took about an hour to remedy the situation during my work time. Staff did not appear to be very apologetic or offer any kind of recompense for the issues caused.

The room was very spacious and quiet . The set fee for carparking in the nearby carpark

Short term parking for bag drop off is very difficult and is compounded by street closures due to the new underground railway . Although location is great surrounding streets are very busy with traffic The actual multi storey carpark is very small in design and difficult to manouvre feels abit unsafe at night Minor problem my sink plug did not seal properly and water leaked out. Air con set at 19 deg too cold and found difficult to adjust The hotel takes $10 deposit for items you may use in your room but there is no bar fridge seems odd

Availability for starters. I only booked on the morning I arrived. I did go through Booking.com. due to availability. Next time I would go direct and hopeful save money, which I was told at reception. I had arrived by plane, and caught the Sky bus into the city, so location was great for that aspect. I would have liked to be closer to Spark as I was there for a concert... but I was very happy with the room, the service and the breakfast.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Let us check in early. The bed was so comfortable, like a cloud, best bed I have ever slept in, in a hotel. Lovely soaps and moisturiser. Great location for Queen Street.

We had smashed avocado on toast for breakfast, and the avocado tasted a little funky as they could do at this time of year. Just being picky, but this is feedback, marks on the wall in our room, where a picture once was. 6 packs of mini sugars would've been nice. I had to use the sweetener. Im not a fan.

It was in the heart of the city, you could get by most places by foot in 10minutes. Everything was crisp and clean. I really liked how the key card didn’t have the room number so even if you lost it nobody would know where exactly you lived. I stayed on the 9th floor and we had a nice view of the sky tower, breakfast provided was also on point, it was a breakfast buffet with beautiful freshly baked pastries.

Only down side was didn’t provide toothbrushes and slippers.

Comfortable, huge room. Had some jealous friends that came and visited due to the large size. View was good. Kitchen facilities were good.

Wasn't as clean as I would have expected. Previous tenants hair in the bathroom and the one time we had the room cleaned, we thought they'd at least take the rubbish bag that had fish in it but it was only emptied out. So the room remained fishy smelling. Was also almost overcharged for coffees that I had paid for on cash and they tried to bill to room. And lastly I didn't like getting a bill midway through my stay because it exceeded a certain amount.

The staff was very friendly and were glad to help my friend and I with any questions we had. The breakfast had more than one option, meaning either just a continental or full buffet, depending on your needs. Incredibly comfortable beds.

There was some confusion around servicing the rooms. You need to ask at the desk for fresh sheets or towels. It's not a problem, and it's responsible, but the confusion is that they give you for hangers which say yes or no to cleaning. But they're pointless. You have to ask.

Tidy, comfortable and quiet room. Helpful front desk team. Amazing friendly restaurant manager for breakfast.

This always puzzles me: why do hotels put the bathroom tap so low down that you cannot put water into the kettle they provide, or into the iron? Do Rydges management not stay in their own accommodation as a test?
