Stayed 3 nights. One bedroom apartment was extremely spacious, clean, comfortable and had a view of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped (microwave, cooking hob, and coffee and tea making facilities) - suitable for light cooking. TV also had multiple channels - suitable for families with kids. Ample parking within the compound. Good location, along the main road into Queenstown and a short 12 minute walk into town / to the lake front. Roadworks were still ongoing but did not impact us in any way (e.g., no noise after hours / still quiet at night and property can be accessed via Frankton Road). Staff were responsive / helpful with queries and flexible with check-in.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely table and chairs in the window to enjoy the view. A microwave, hotplate and fridge in the kitchen. The staff were very helpful when we had something to sort out and responded promptly. the bed was massive and so comfortable. There was a spa bath which we didn't get around to using. A brisk walk up from/down to town, but also accessible by bus, and lots of parking. Also really nice was the fact that it was a small motel - much of the other accommodation in the area was huge hotels with masses of rooms and floors and people.

Unfortunately for the owners the city of Queenstown were repairing the road, specifically the section right outside our window - so the view was minimised by hoarding and machinery. But as it turned out while we were there there was minimal interruption and noise.

Great location with being able to walk into town. Clean Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels/flannels. Had everything we needed.

The roadworks outside were going all night and kept us awake. It would have been fair to let us know about this when we booked or as soon as the motel was aware the road works were continuing during the night. We should have been made aware the heater was on as it had a large chair right in front of it that we put clothes over and we went to bed with it like that. Thankfully, I got out of bed as it was too hot in the room and looked around to see if there was heating on somewhere in the room.

Our apartment had a beautiful lake and mountain view. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole apartment was very clean. We loved the possibility to turn on the heating, as the weather was quite cool. The motel is on the main road, though not at all noisy, the hustle and bustle of Queenstown centre is within walking distance, and the are local buses too. We were very satisfied with our stay!

Nothing, we loved everything!

The staff were very informative about the current conditions in Queenstown, with water problems and the necessity to boil drinking water. They were also very apologetic about the roadworks that made access to the motel difficult and confusing, and assured us they had striven to reach an agreement with the workers to keep noise level down overnight. They also said they had a strict customer noise policy and we should complain if our peace was disturbed. We were given a room at the front of the motel, which had a lovely view of the lake and the mountains surrounding! Very picturesque!

There was Bollywood music playing next to us at night, the drums were very bass. We were in bed by 9.30, when music started. Fortunately the noise level was decreased at 10, and completely turned off by 10.30

The room met the general expectations for accommodation - it was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchenette was stocked, Wi-Fi had no issues, and the shower had good pressure. It's not far from town and there was a nice view from the room.

Prior to attending, the staff kept sending the same message (via Booking and then similarly on text) wanting to know the exact time and direction we were arriving from and whenever I responded, just resent the same message rather than addressing what I'd said. There are large roadworks occurring at the front of the property that started at 7am and were very loud. The room was by a staircase which had children yelling while running up and down it, the room doesn't appear to have any noiseproofing as it was very loud also. The carpark wasn't delineated so the neighbouring visitor had parked over into our space, making it difficult to get out of the park safely and would have been impossible if anyone had been in the park behind ours.

The room was spacious and very comfortable with clean amenities. Kitchen was great with lots of utensils. Reception was very friendly and helpful.

Microwave was a little old. Roadworks were very inconvenient and made things very awkward. The roadworks were not the fault of the Motel but all the accommodations along this stretch would be suffering from the extensive and long winded repairs to the roads. Council get your act together.

I loved the view from our room of the lake and mountains so we could just look outside and marvel at creation and still be warm in our room with double glazed windows and heat pump. I also loved the new bathroom that shined white with shiny chrome and how big our room is suited our family. The kitchen came furnished with all we needed and there is a laundry facility that I appreciated to clean our clothes. It is in a great location close by the city that we could happily walk to. Super helpful staff that were there if we needed that helped us get some good activities with our children.

Close to everything, the unit is quite large, the views (had it not been for roadworks) are really nice. The staff informed us ahead of time of roadworks happening and the staff were nice and friendly.

The drains in the kitchenette and in the bathroom were clogged. The bathroom is a bit dated. It was also very noisy due to a busy road in front of the motel and due to thin walls / low quality windows / doors. So bring some ear plugs with you if you want to sleep longer than until 6 am. The roadworks weren’t ideal, but obviously that’s not their fault.

The views were great. It was really good having a cook top and a small kitchen to use. We used the laundry facilities at the motel which was really useful. My husband enjoyed being able to watch Australian rules football game final on the tv. Good location to Queenstown. Was able to walk back from being downtown each day.

It will be good when they finish the road works. Not that it bothered us that much .
