The room had floor to roof glass on the lake side, so we had fantastic views of Lake Wakitipu. The room was quiet and seemed sound proof. Loved having the convenience of a washer and dryer. The bed was so comfortable and soft.

It was so busy, being Chinese new year so parking was a real struggle. The valet parking was full so we spent quite a while driving around trying to find a park in the neighborhood - this was out of the hotels control. In hindsight, we should've reserved valet parking earlier as we did not account for how busy it would be.

Location was good, and facilities well maintained.

Was not informed there would be an extra cost to hold may baggage between my bookings when it was made clear at my initial booking that I wished this to take place. I was informed that this was a new cost since I made the booking, and written in the T&C that the terms could be changed at any time without me been informed. This I'm sure would be the case, but certainly this is not a way to get a good reputation with customers by bring in new costs and not prior to my checking in informing me of this cost. The manager did not seem to appreciate that it was not the amount of money involved, but not been informed of this cost at the time of booking. He suggested I may be able to get storage cheaper down the road. No compromise was offered by the manager to the situation.

Location if you are prepared to walk up the hill coming back from the city centre. Close enough to the city centre but very quiet considering it is located at a busy intersection

That hill!!!! Also cleaning service could be better. 11 night stay and room was not vacuumed once, kitchen bench not wiped down once, bathroom basin not cleaned once.

great Location, clean modern facility, would definitely recommend to others. would only recommend a few things to make the stay more comfortable and to tick all my boxes. 1.a lamp on the bedside tables would be nice as the lights above the bed are extremely bright and uncomfortable to have turned on. 2. a bottle or carton of proper milk for customers who are staying for longer than a night or two. 3. for the quality that your advertising and displaying with the hotels appearance… I’m sure you could do better than one ply toilet paper. none of this would stop me from staying again but would be nice to see some small changes to improve the comfort of the stay.

the ventilation in the bathrooms? turned the dryer on and the whole bathroom was wet with condensation and covered in lint from dryer

Breakfast was good and had nice options, both buffet and other possibilities. It had good quality fruits, yoghurt , muesli etu, , but not much vegetables or no cheese which I missed. Laskeview room was nice, but not very big. Bed was comfortable. Cleaning was good and the hotel had nice feeling and really friendly, young peresonnel.

Was unfortunate, that the upper City had had water- problems already quite long, and we did not hear that after booking. We would have liked to get information beforehand…

The communication and service was great. The location was perfect, really close to the main town of Queenstown (just down quite a hill!). Great room, spacious and comfortable.

The parking was limited at the property so we had to park on the street the first night, the only issue is the street parking was really limited as well. Also the TV was quite old and it didn't have the option to cast / stream anything to it, just unusual for a nice hotel to have out of date technology.

Location + View was amazing. Room was immaculate on arrival. Proximity to town was a great benefit

$200 bond after paying on arrival was a little annoying considering we weren’t informed prior to our stay. Due to current Queenstown Boil Water notice would have liked a supply of potable water. Staff were not present on check out despite it being 20 minutes into operating hours. Parts of one of the curtains were broken which let the late sunset in when we tried to go to sleep.

Rooms, location, staff, parking

No bedside lights. Only lights in the ceiling (too bright especially if one person wanted to sleep). Need lower lights for reading in bed and settling down ready for sleep. Whoever designed the lighting hasn’t stayed in the rooms. No water available due to problem. Could only take a cupful of filtered water from reception. We bought a large bottle each day. As no drinkable water available would be nice for the hotel to supply a bottle of water in the room. Otherwise very good.

The staff were helpful and the room was well serviced and clean. Location was good, on the main bus route.

The price. I had booked at a reasonable price a couple of months before however my credit card details expired before I reached the hotel and I was travelling and out of contact. The booking was cancelled and I had to rebook and paid about an extra $150 AU for the same booking. Not happy about that. I can't comment on the breakfast. It didn't look interesting enough to try.

The hotel is fairly new. View was good. Easy to park around the hotel. Good location - easy to catch a bus/walk to town/waterfront/ice rink. Helpful staff.

That a room above us flooded our bathroom and that we had to move when we wanted to relax. Luckily we were in the room and noticed early. However the staff addressed the problem quickly and upgraded us to a better room within an hour or so. Not a proper "hotel breakfast" available, just a cafe.
