Our favorite of the three places we stayed at during our time in Poland. Beautiful lobby. Friendly receptionist staff that went above and beyond. We were able to check in early which was convenient but they do have luggage storage available as well. Room was nice and clean with a refrigerator available. Location was perfect for us as it is about halfway between the train/bus station and old town main square area which are both walkable distance. Also just about a minutes walk to Florianska street. If you plan on using the train/bus frequently for day trips to Auschwitz, salt mine, or for visiting other cities like we did, this is the perfect spot. Our flight also got delayed 24 hours and they were able to add an additional night and were able to make accommodations in order for us to keep the same room rather than having to check out and check in to a new room.

The accommodation was first class. Located in the Old Town it was only minutes away from the main attractions. All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and immaculate throughout. We had booked the breakfast option which was available at a local cafe (Coffee & Wine) a 2 minute walk away and the food was excellent. The hotel booked our transfers from the airport at a very reasonable rate. The whole trip was very enjoyable and we plan on returning to this accommodation again.

We had a great one-night stay at this well-located hotel. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. Breakfast was good, though not buffet-style. The hotel has an arrangement with a nearby diner just a two-minute walk away. We were given a menu to choose one item, along with one coffee and a jug of water. While the food was tasty and well-prepared, having more variety or a buffet-style option would have been a nice touch. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, excellent location, and welcoming staff.

Loved the location of the hotel. Rooms were warm, clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. breakfast was at a near by cafe. Breakfast on day 1 was excellent but over the next few days the breakfast got worse and the staff at the cafe were not overly friendly. We were told one morning that we needed to say good morning and give our breakfast voucher on entering the cafe. On said morning we had entered, said good morning, but both staff members were on their phones and didnt even look up.

Great location. Spotless clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size. Rooms looking into street are noisy even during the night - you can hear trains, bin wagons, clock chiming, people. Makes sleeping difficult if you want the window open

Breakfast located off-site. Although only a couple of minutes it was inconvenient and I wouldn’t have booked breakfast had I known it was off-site.

Great hotel in a convenient location close to all the main sites and public transport. All the staff we met with courteous and handled our requests with charm and professionalism. Our room was extremely comfortable with plenty of space to stretch out and relax in. We could have happily stayed longer had we been able to. Not having breakfast facilities on site worked in our favour as their are several cafes in the local area that all offer excellent breakfast options. I would recommend Amber Residence without reservation.

Fantastic location, situated on a quiet street within a few minutes walk of both the main street and main square of Old Town. No noise at night even though it was so close. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Bed was very comfortable

The only negative was the size of the room, perfect for one person but would have struggled with 2. Also there is no wardrobe, there an open hanging unit suitable for a few clothes and underneath a half shelf which didn’t fit clothes on properly. Perfect for a 2-3 night stay, but nothing more.

What a perfect stay! We were welcomed by a really nice receptionist, unfortunately I don't remember her name, but send our regards to her and thank you if you're reading it. :) She explained everything very well to us and asked if we needed any further help. When we got to the room, we were amazed at how comfortable, good in size, and beautiful it is. AC was also very much needed that day, so we turned it on immediately. Location is perfect because it's around 4 minutes walk to the main square, but Amber is located by the very end of the street, which makes it more silent and cosy, away from the crowd. Everything was really closeby and we felt really safe and comfortable at your place. The beds were very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. Thank you very much for your hospitality, and we can't wait until our next visit in Kraków, because we already know the place to stay at.🥰 OUTSTANDING: Staff, decor, cleanliness and location

Placed very handily for the old town centre and close to tram stops. The decor is well selected and arranged and the rooms are very clean. The front desk staff were very accomodating and helpful.

We had to get to our training at the nearby Holiday Inn for 0800, so it would have been slightly more convenient if the breakfast option at Coffee and Wine was available earlier, but this is a very minor gripe; alternative options were widely available (e.g. Hotel Wielopole).

The hotel is in a great location, clean and the staff is very friendly. They helped us make restaurant reservations and gave us all the necessary directions.

The breakfast service is outside the hotel which, personally, I did not mind because it is really close by. However, I feel that the choice of provider offering breakfast is very poor. The best thing during a stay is the breakfast buffet, which is missing here: the bar offers set menus with not very good quality. I would therefore suggest find other solutions. The courtesy service in the room can also be improved: a bathrobe is missing, slippers are missing and they only provide one coffee pod each day which you can possibly ask for extra but I feel that certain services, given that this is a 4-star hotel, should not be required.
